My Mustang just backfired sooo loud that 2 of my neighbors came running to see if I was ok. One was working in his house and the other was cutting his grass. When they came over I couldn't hardly hear them because my ears were ringing so bad. Funny shit! PS- anyone want a Free mustang?

Would this cause the car to just all of sudden shut off?

I recently upgraded to a 3g 130amp alternator in the Mustang and I was doing some diagnostic stuff to try to figure out why computer is changing my MAF voltage in the EEC tuner and found that the voltage to the coil is 12.5 with the key on and as I rev the car the voltage goes up to 30 or so volts, is that normal? I thought it should goe no higher than 14v, but my volt gauge on my dash stays consistant. [ 13. September 2004, 04:11 AM: Message edited by: BC ]
