  1. No, to be crystal clear, I'm referring to the fact that his car runs and has documented success.
  2. Based on actual running cars with documented times, I'd say that's a false statement. I'm not an attorney, however, only a non-attorney spokesperson.
  3. Bet he doesn't mow his grass like a boss, so you have that going for you I guess. Is this how rich folks fight?
  4. At this point it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and shell out $8 for a new set of plugs also. It would be unlikely for all 4 to be defective or dead short but I have been the victim of mishandled plugs that were shorted out brand new or after only a few thousand miles. Not long ago I had a Champion plug fail on my Jeep and they all looked just fine (and were only 5k miles old or so). Swapped the plugs and now it's golden.
  5. Intradesting. I have been thinking about picking one of those up but I kept putting it off because most of my favorite holsters weren't yet available to accommodate it. I'll take another look and see what's available these days and may be in touch.
  6. On an multi-point EFI system, adding a larger throttle body doesn't change the fuel delivery at all. All it really does is reduce intake restriction. They also will typically boost throttle response a bit because the TB is effectively "more open" at the same throttle input. I assume you're looking at 4.6 cars, because 78mm is a common size for aftermarket TB on them. On a basically stock car you really don't need that large of a throttle body, but there is little to no downside to overshooting it. This is why most manufacturers only make very large throttle bodies for the newer cars (also they are fairly large from the factory anyway in many cases). It doesn't make much sense for them to offer a 65mm, 70mm, 75mm, etc when they can just sell the big one and it works for mildly modded cars and highly modded or supercharged cars about as well.
  7. It used to be, and I believe it still is, that you just needed to have the firearm unloaded and not within reach of the driver from the driver's seat. Ammunition needs to be stored separately, preferably locked in the glovebox. Edit: I see that you have no locking compartments, but I think you're still okay as long as the ammo is separated from the gun and it's not within reach from the driver's seat.
  8. Damn it. I wish I could have made it. My car is still only tuned off-boost. It runs well on the street but I rolled into about 2 lbs. boost the other day and it sounded like it was going to scatter. No more boost until I get a full-on tune. sadface.png
  9. GOOOO! This is the Jay-Z swapped Lexus? Thats pretty impressive. Congrats.
  10. My MIL actually has an HHR and she's looking to replace it soon. She mentioned that it doesn't get great mileage, just okay. Also it's basically a Cavalier in terms of power and interior quality. Overall it's not bad but I don't care for it and she certainly wasn't impressed over the last couple of years of ownership. She loved the styling though. Overall I think she'd rate it as a "meh" at best. You may want to have her drive one first to she if she likes it.
  11. Looks like Photoshop Copter to me...

  14. Thanks to the previous owner of my car, Cleotis T. Boneshank, the hood on my car is mismatched too. Sine the rest of the car is a bit worn, though good for its age, I'm holding out for a complete paint job. Don't be that guy with busted paint but a nice mural of raptor Jesus on his ride.

  16. Well Played. For your efforts, you have been awarded the following plate for your S5.
  17. I think that you can waive the signature requirement online if you have the tracking number. Obviously they make you agree that if it ends up lost it's not their problem anymore. Not sure if UPS does this but I'm pretty sure FedEx does anyway. Might be worth a try. Just track the package and see what your options are regarding signature requirement.
  18. Factory base is probably 10 degrees BTDC. You could probably go as high as 12 without issues. I'd also verify that the advance is actually working. Improperly set timing can play hell on throttle response and smoothness.
  19. Possibly silly question, maybe I missed it in the thread... Did you use an actual timing light to set the base timing or just set it by ear?

  21. I thought it was generally accepted that you were the front man for Color Me Badd though. We've never met, so I can neither confirm or deny. Do you own a blue silk shirt?
  22. In fairness, Vegas is a very common flight and they tend to be less expensive than most other places I've looked into out west. Shit, I'd love to go back to Yellowstone but the flight is about $700 round trip/person (like your trip). It kills me to spend twice as much to go roughly the same distance.
