  1. Close to 500HP!!! I wonder how close... and how they came up with that number.
  2. Maybe I'm just turning into an old fucker, but I find not speeding is a much cheaper/simpler way not to get speeding tickets. I haven't used a radar detector since High School and have only had a couple of tickets. It's neat to see the technology finally expanding a bit though.
  3. Brian's dad. Edit: Except his name is actually Howard. I should have sensed I was getting trolled. :gabe::fa:
  4. I have been toying with the idea of selling my rooted Nook Color, which makes it more or less a fully-functioning tablet. It has Phiremod/Gingerbread loaded. I also changed the device ID so that Netflix works on it. Battery life if decent. I typically leave the WiFi off when it's sleeping just to save some battery. It's easy to toggle on/off. Comes with a class 10 8GB SD card. Works well, I just never use it since I got my Logitech Revue. Only issue is the previous owner must have pinched the screen with something causing a slightly light spot about the size of a dime. Barely noticeable. Any interest in that? I was thinking about $150.
  5. C-C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker! http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS0mlJyl1npXu9dsQNiU2D-RIofZmuGSa0kWwZx0VeMRQxLZ4_7bg
  6. I see Newport Aquarium on the list, but if you're really into aquariums I'd say it's worth the extra ~5 hrs drive time to go to Chattanooga TN. Their aquarium is probably the largest and nicest one I've been to. I'd say the one in Gatlinburg TN a little better than Newport too and there's plenty more to do besides that. Don't get me wrong, the Newport one is okay and it's closer, just not as nice as the other 2.
  7. I may be interested in some 42s if you get a good set of 8 together.
  8. Well, the low oil sender is absent from this pan, which appears to be a replacement. Looks like a pretty prime contender for being the wire to the now gone sender. I feel a bit better about it now. Thanks all for helping think through it out loud.
  9. Update: poking around online I found a diagram that indicates that the low-oil level sender wire is routed thorugh this section of the harness. That's at the back of the oil pan, so that may very well be it. Headed back to the garage to find out.
  10. I thought that, but there's not really anything else around there that I'm aware of. Maybe the reverse lights on the trans. Come to think of it, this car has longtubes, so maybe if the O2s were in the factory position (nearer the engine bay) they would be near something it could go to. I'll have to investigate that further. It seems really long though if that were the case.
  11. So, trying to diagnose my rich/surge idle condition and I'm down to O2 sensors. While changing them out today I noticed an old splice in the signal wire on the driver's side (short red wire). No biggie, I'm guessing this once was wired to an A/F gauge.... But... I found what looks like a fusible link in the same harness that was just balled up and zip tied to the rest of the harness. Both O2's are 3-wire on these cars.I have no fucking clue what this should be attached to, but I would guess it is supposed to be attached to something. I almost wonder if it was spliced into that signal wire, but why the fuck? Maybe something to do with the Mass-air conversion? This is a MAF converted 88. tl;dr - Anyone have any idea what the hell the 4th wire in the driver's side O2 Harness is supposed to hook up to? Does it even belong there? It looks factory-ish to me based on the way it's wrapped futher up in the harness with the factory fabric shit. Strange 4th wire is the long one on the right: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/JasoniPhonePics6-21-11001.jpg?t=1318696464
  12. I meant to specify used 42s. If you do have some used ones shoot me a price via pm please.
  13. That's how I ended up with it. I always wanted one but always talked myself out of buying a bike... then the guy around the corner puts one for sale for his brother. Bam, I had to have it. Bought it the next day. It was definitely a wise choice. If/when I get around to buying another bike, it will probably be one of these again (though I briefly considered a touring bike like a V-Strom).
  14. Fuuuuuuuu. Just spent the remainder of my loose cash on exhaust on this "solid" heap of shit Coupe I bought... If it sticks around much longer I should pick this up. :masturboy:
  15. There's still some riding season left. Actually the tires on this bike are supposedly great in the rain if you're not a fairweather biker like me. So the ride time is up to you I guess.
  16. No doubt, and it has plenty of torque to carry a large fellow.
  17. Nah, looking to make more room in the garage. That and I already have the Cherokee Spec B GT...:gabe:
  18. You wouldn't happen to have any 42lb injectors laying around, would you?
  19. I really haven't been trying to sell very hard, so I may have it a while.
  20. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/QTP2.jpg?t=1318340660 http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/QTP1.jpg?t=1318340660
  21. Someone should buy this. My Fox project has taken over and the bike hasn't moved in weeks. Going to get it out tonight just to make sure it's charged up and such.
  22. Okay, $175 and a 3-pack of Ho-Hos. None of that 2-pack shit. Edit: I have pics I intended to post today but Photobucket is being retarded. Will post later.
  23. Ewwww. :gabe: Seriously though, is that yours?
  24. Yeah, everyone hates Pip. :lolguy: http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSIYG1FZpWoaITT7fmRJ8vsDdEIblzInZlMDwCQsYYLHt1GbkvNTQ
