  1. I had actually tried that already. Got home and was able to do it first try, but my latest backup was from February. Went back to work to sync my apps back and I'm just now about 99% restored. I lost the last few months of SMS but otherwise i think I'm good. I seriously think there's something up with the iTunes install I did this morning. I don't usually have problems with simple electronics though I was pretty distracted today...
  2. FAIL. Fucking iTunes crashed in the middle of the update and now when I reconnect my phone it says an unknown error occurred (-9812). If it's bricked now I'm going to be pissed. It might not have been iTunes' fault, as I have had some issues with my system responding slowly when using Firefox... but either way my phone is useless right now. Awesome.
  3. Unfortunately, as time goes on, I must be getting the apple-itis. I'm anxiously awaiting the new OS when I already have the new phone on order anyway... I never would have thought I'd be that guy.
  4. I've seen alot of internet rumor guessing that the release will start around 10am PST. So if any of these wild guesses are true it will be at least 1pm here before you see anything.
  5. I'm guessing he's building one of these so he can GTFO when 2012 comes knocking. http://techdigest.tv/craigslist_ship.jpg
  6. Looks like I'll be there also. Rolling the Jeep since I can't Yut Ugh properly with a grill strapped to my back.
  7. Sounds like a short somewhere. Maybe instead of powering your brake lights the current is traveling back into the harness somewhere, like the door buzzer. My old Jeep had a poorly bypassed cruise control with hacked up wires and my door buzzer would lightly buzz when I turned the wipers on. All of the wiring ran in the same area and one of the wires was shorting and backfeeding power to the buzzer. Maybe rats ate your wiring yo!

  9. I ordered through Apple's site this morning. I tried AT&Ts site several times yesterday and it was f-ed up each time. It never occurred to me to go to Apple to order it until today.
  10. "Ships: By July 2nd Delivers: Jul 6 - Jul 8 by Standard Shipping"
  11. Well, I finally jumped on the upgrade bandwagon and ordered a 16G from Apple's site today. I wish I had done it yesterday because it looks like I missed the first wave and won't be getting it until the first week of July. Oh well. I still have my lowly 3G. I saw no need to upgrade to a 3Gs but I'll bite this time.
  12. More tension on the line will bring the release point up. As for your 5th and reverse issue I dunno.
  13. This. Go into your Selling Preferences and set buyer requirements. One of them is block all bidders outside my registered country. If for some reason you have someone who is registered out of the country that you decide you want to ship to anyway (or they ask to have it shipped in the states) you can just add that user to an exemption list.

  15. Me three, but I have nowhere to keep it.
  16. Love the styling, but failmatic trans and insane base price are pretty ghey. Agreed with above post.
  17. JEGS is usually hiring for Customer Service this time of year. I don't know the pay but I would guess around $12/hr depending on experience. They work either here in Delaware or on the East side near 70/Hamilton Rd. Plus she'd get a discount on car parts...
  18. I used to hear that kind of thing all the time. I once sold a "Sommerset Housing" to a guy. It looked like this: http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/800/865/865-4736.jpg
  19. Here we see him in his natural habitat, calling the rocks on his iPhone. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/chunk.jpg
  20. I haven't seen a dual review iPhone 4 vs. the EVO but here's one against the Incredible: http://www.iphone-droid.com/iphone-4g-vs-droid-incredible.aspx
  21. For a noob I'd definitely agree with the recommendation of going to the range and handling a few to see what you like ergonomically, then rent a few to narrow it further to what you like to shoot or potentially carry. Also while I'm definitely a 1911 guy, I don't think I would recommend jumping into a single-action as a first handgun. Particularly if you plan to carry it soon. I feel it takes a little more familiarity to safely handle a SA.
  22. If you can't hold it with your foot on the brake a line lock won't either. It's essentially just a solenoid that holds pressure in the line after you press the brake and close it. A transbrake essentially locks 1st and reverse together so that you can apply enough power to get full flash stall off the line (You'll never get that footbraking). The car won't move at all while it's engaged. They're not cheap or super simple to install though. If you're going to go that far with it you'd definitely want to go ahead and get a higher stall converter at that time anyway.
