If he pops his head in here, was there ever any resolution to this? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90784

I'm on the mailing list for Studio 35 and just got this. Looks like it did well and they are extending it a few days, just in case anyone wants to go and hasn't been able to.

Yes. Picture 1 has Bobby in it. Tag - Bobby Picture 2 has Bobby and Susie in it. Tags - Bobby, Susie Picture 3 has Susie and Joe in it. Tags - Susie, Joe. Search for Bobby, and you get picture 1 and 2. Search for Susie and you get picture 2 and 3. I want it to auto tag based on facial recognition so you don't have to manually tag hundreds of pictures. Is this what you are talking about? I know so far that Picasa does this, but she still needs to try it out so we don't know how well it works. But if another program does this well, then it could be worth a try.

So my partner works at a school and they take a lot of pictures. They go through them, find the good pictures of 1 kid in the picture and add it to their portfolio. But some parents have asked if they can have every picture their kid are in (in electronic form). She uses Picasa now which I believe she can manually tag each photo with any tag she wants, for example every person in the picture. Then filter it out for each tag (person), copy all of those pictures into another folder to give to each parent. The problem is to tag all of the pictures manually takes too much time. With facial recognition software becoming more common, I thought this might be a solution. You could have some plug-in, or standalone software which can do this automatically. You could have a ‘base’ picture of each person, a head shot of a blank background basically. If it’s too cumbersome or awkward to do this, then you could just find a few good face shots in regular pictures that you’ve taken. Then it uses this as a basis to create a facial recognition filter that automatically tags each picture where it recognizes a person. Obviously this won’t be perfect. There are a lot of different things that could cause an issue, like if there isn’t enough of the persons face in the picture to get enough points to make a match. Even if imperfect it would automate a decent amount of the work. So, is there any add-ins to Picasa, or any other software out there that does this? You could even think bigger picture than this and have it auto-tag by recognizing objects in much the same way, or even location (no just geo-location, but that x GPS is Grandmas house) and the dates/times I assume are already in the exif data. In theory this could all be built into the camera, but it’s probably easier to do in software on the computer.

We are getting rid of it because we bought a futon for the futon frame this thing was sitting on. Free for anyone that wants to come get it. It's still in ok shape, but is definitely well loved. :gabe:

I was on campus the day before Obama spoke there, I think last year. There were a few guys in black suits sitting watching the stage go up. It was painfully obvious they were secret service.

So, you reflash whenver you want to switch? Sounds like a little bit of a PITA. Do you have to run E85, what happens if it's less than that? When does the switch happen? What's the power, curve difference look like?

Is there some befinity to runing gas with no ethanol? How is this garuanteed? e.g. does it say it somewhere on the pump and if it does is actually unlawful for them to run e5/10?

I agree 100%; if it's the same as the 3Gs (or 4G) in that respect I will have a hard time justifying it over a droid. I don't want some gigantic phone with a gigantic screen but I also don't want half of my screens surface area to be blank for no reason. If the 5 is lame in this respect hopefully the Nexus Prime won't be a monster (but rumors are not looking good). I really want NFC payment capability on my next phone too.

AJ's right, if it's the brake and ABS light, it (should be) an ABS related issue; not foundation brakes. Not dangerous, it just means your ABS won't work so that's something to be aware of. Don't just lock up/slam on the brakes expecting ABS to take over. From what I could find your car does have EBD (electronic brake-force distribution). So your car doesn't mechanical proportioning valve but uses the ABS unit to do that. So when your ABS is out, your EBD is out which in certain cases could be unsafe. Again, not a huge worry.

Joe got another wooden nickel. :fuckyeah: Glad you are ok! Come back in one piece so we can fuck some more shit up around here. :masturboy: -
So, anyone want to grab food around the area before? I'm thinking around 7:30 or 8? Maybe Northstar Cafe on High near Henderson? They can very easily handle lots of people; and people paying individually with how they are setup (pay first, get # card, sit down and they bring your food to you). Very good food too. http://www.thenorthstarcafe.com/cafes.html Or there is a good sandwich shop closer on High just south of North Broadway called Cornerstone Cafe http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/33/370626/restaurant/Clintonville/Cornerstone-Deli-Cafe-Columbus

I don't know what, if anything they actually cook there. I know they get the pizza from Clintonville Pizza just a few doors down; it's pretty good pizza. Last movie I went to, I ordered the pizza, sat toward the back and they walked it in during the movie. They have good beer there. Their full name is Sudio 35 Cinema & Drafthouse. So ya, I might be taking a cab home. :lolguy:

There seem to be a lot of techs/mechanics kind of jumping the OPs case, thinking he was blaming the tech/mechanic. To reiterate what he just said, I don't think he ever did that. It seems like the whole time he's been harping on the way the dealership (customer service and management) and corporate have handled the situation; rightfully so. I wondered if they are worried about you using the lemon law.

Whew, disaster averted. There would have only been about an hour there until that horse and buggy came by and there was a huge wreck. :gabe:

Just bought my ticket on MovieTickets.com I'm not sure how popular this is going to be, so if you are definitely going you might want to get a ticket. You only have to enter your card info, then you use your card to claim your ticket at the theater. Super simple.

These things are pretty cool. IDK why more is not showing up, but last time we were there they had a shorter one, and I think both a short and tall one which were all bottle racks. We have one which is 4 regular racks and added 1 bottle rack. It's all modular with a ton of mounting points so you can add as many regular shelves or bottle racks as needed. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/secondary_storage/10898/
