  1. Makes a lot more sense than c4c. Especially for old refrigerators, they are energy hogs by far the second largest energy user in your house behind heat/ac. There are already programs in place for this, they are just talking about having them better funded. We are going to run into energy use issues in the future, especially from an infrastrcuture standpoint. Look at the rolling brown/blackouts in cali.
  2. People can hunt all they want, but I have less than zero respect for someone who 'hunts' and doesn't kill the animal right away (whatever the reasons or excuses for it may be).
  3. I feel very strongly about this one, so I'll post about it every time I see one. :bangbang:
  4. Nope. Meet a friend at the hooka 'bar' (Shi Sha) for a bit. I won't go into the details of exactly why I feel it's illegal, Hot Carl and V8KILR have it covered.
  5. Lol at the very first comment on that website
  6. I was going west bound ~10 o'clock when I saw it going out and there was a line of cars ~1/4 of a mile long. More than a few minutes of your time wasted. But that's not really the point anyways.
  7. About half a mile east of 315 on bethle going east there is a sobreity check point. Don't drink and drive, but most importantly don't let your rights get violated and waste your time in that shit tonight.
  8. Opps, just saw I posted this in the wrong section. Can the mods move this?
  9. An online magazine I read has a store attached to it and posted these package deals that seem pretty good on the surface (didn't look into them too deeply). One is $750 and the other is $1k. Not bad for what you get (full 5.1 speakers, pretty nice receiver and blu ray player). They both seem to have everything you need (all wires, etc) to add that home theater punch to your HDTV. I'd imagine either of these would make most people very happy with their purchase (not wanting more). http://audioholics.com/buying-guides/system-buying-guides/store-750-audio-system http://audioholics.com/buying-guides/system-buying-guides/store-1000-audio If you need more HDMI calbes for hooking up other stuff check out http://www.monoprice.com http://www.bluejeancalbes.com or http://www.tartancables.com
  10. Hopefully Jones will fill us in when if see's this, but IIRC the maintance is very bad on those. I assume it's basically the same engine as the V8 S4, just turboed. This is what he said in another thread about the V8 S4. ~$7k for the timing chain/guides maintenance and it's every 60-70k in the S4. IIRC because of the turboed engine and more power/tq it's every 30 or 35kmi in the RS6. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1037687&postcount=33 There's a reason a (clean, low mileage) 6 year old car that was something like $80-100k new is selling for $25k. If it's got the maintenance records, you don't put many miles on it and are willing to pay the $$$$$ for maintenance, they I'd say why not. If the timing chain interval is what I'm remembering I'd have to do it every 1.5 years in that car. But yeah, I still want one.
  11. Usually you quote or imply what you are agreeing with. You could have been agreeing with anyone's post above yours. You rarely posted until that rant, now you're posting quite a bit every day. I'm saying that's because you are trying to 'prove' why you are here. So why are you here?
  12. What are you +1ing... or are you just posting a lot now trying to make it look like you are legitimate poster here after you were called out about that from your rant on Not Brian?
  13. If that does in fact make you pay no taxes (right now) on your pay, you will still have to pay taxes on that in the end. Since this will be a very large check that's still a lot of taxes. That means unless the gov normally owes you that much in taxes at the end of the year, you will owe them. You could go somewhere in between. My understanding is that your checks get taxes withheld something like if you made that much all year. So if you have one big fatty check, you get withheld a lot on that check relative to what you actually end up owning for that check. So if it's a once a year thing, and your allowed to do it (per gov rules and HR rules) I would go somewhere in between getting withheld normally (too much on a large check) and nothing. Just my personal opinion. You could also ask the HR department if you can get any kind of answer out of them.... they should know the laws on this stuff.
  14. I fucking HATE when higher ups use their position to try peddle off their political positions onto the companies workers passing it off as 'better' for the company. Happens every once in a while in our weekly company news letters. Makes me want to punch some babies.

  16. IDK him, but I remember a SN or tristanlee or something like that on here.... here ya go http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/member.php?u=1895 ... not sure I would suggest trying to tackle this yourself.

Innis woods=free, conservatory=$ We are going to a local microbrew fest at the north market tonight. 5-9 pay x dollars and get ten tastings plus you can buy pints of anything there, then go eat dinner in the north market. See you there!
  18. Innis wood gardens. Went last Friday as a 'different' date idea and it was really nice. Make sure to explore the two sisters garden and especially check out the maze/story in that garden.
