That's pretty funny. I don't think they would ever give me anything at BP free, especially beer. You can believe there would be trouble if they gave me a free 12 pack for my trouble at any BP for that card not working. I'd hit up ever BP within a half mile from every major interstate in town and throw a party on their behalf. graemlins/thumb.gif [ 28. April 2005, 02:48 PM: Message edited by: Trouble Maker ]

That's a damn big engine for an Integra. Did you swap in a V6 from a CRV or something?
-
Don't make a trip out of it; it's just a passing interest. If you are already out there taking pictures, go right ahead. Thanks man.

Look at the one white kid on the first page. hahahahhahahhha!!! I don't care what anyone says, that red suit is pimp.

I was thinking how many kegs I could fit into one of them. Probably only one because that style is usually shorter on one side inside where the compressor, condenser and what not sit. It would have plenty of space for the C02 tank and regulator though. Can you tell I've looked at these things in the stores? This is tempting. Could you get quick dimensions on the larger part of the inside for me?

Damn that car is fast. I also love the way an 03-04 Cobra with the Kenny Bell sounds.

How about a 0w40 or 5w40? Any chance of getting thoes in?

Originally posted by Orion: being honest, id start looking for a different company. be sure you DONT tell them that youre on indemnity currently. as a former insurance guy (granted, not auto insurance) i can tell you that once youre a risk in a certain companys eyes, your ALWAYS a risk. I get where you’re coming from. We've, including my parents, been with our guy for as long as I can remember. Being honest, he is hooking me up and on regular insurance I might be worse off with anyone else. I really don't have too much to bitch about, except for it would be even cheaper if it were not indemnity insurance with him. It would be a waste now to look around anyways because I will be off of it in November. Then when it renews again in a year I will be 25. My insurance will be dirt cheap then, if it’s not, then I will be shopping around. Maybe if I would have realized this two years ago (three years after my reign of destruction via cars stopped) it might have made sense. Originally posted by RoadRage: Trust me, I had one huge blemish on my driving record from a few years ago, and most if not all insurance companies tell you that they are cutting you a break, when they aren't. I guess that's just it, I've never had anything huge on my driving record. Three accidents, two were claims totaling $3k at most. I hit some old truck and messed up his metal bumper, <$1k claim. I also backed into an old Escort destroying the quarter panel to the point where they couldn’t open the door, probably totaled due to worth of vehicle, ~$2k max. A few tickets, all 10-19 over if speeding, one of them was for one of the accidents. No DUI’s, no reckless ops, all claims were dirt cheap. Despite that, like I said, I understand why I was on it in the past. I was young and on a fairly good consistent streak. I just don't understand why I'm still on it because of one ticket from almost three years ago. P.S. I fucking hate UBB. redface.gif [ 27. April 2005, 12:56 PM: Message edited by: Trouble Maker ]

That would kind of suck, to buy it and not have anyone buy any. I can personally say, even though I don't use the stuff, I don't think you would have a problem selling enough of it. Anyways, won't you and linn.35 go through enough to keep you filling up the station every month. tongue.gif I was just wondering if I should point people your way when they are looking for the stuff. Keep us updated.

Umm, I think that it's safe to assume that he has both a WOT switch and a window switch. Sam's been playing with nitrous alot for some time now, I would think he's knows what he's doing. Are you going to do the filling station deal for everyone to buy from you, just wondering?

Reading comprehension is not your friend. I changed the way I drove and I have had one ticket and no accidents in the last five years. I don't know why I should still be punished for something I did that's so far back no insurance company would even look at it. I'm not on indemnity insurance at this point because of what I did then. I'm on it because of one ticket from memorial day weekend in 2002. I'm sure plenty of people on this board have had more than one ticket in the last three years (let alone five years) and aren't on indemnity insurance, just because they weren’t on it before. I had two fairly small claims on my insurance, one about $1k and one about $2k's worth. One was in my junior year in High School and one was in my freshman year in College. That's all I've ever cost the insurance company, and once again, that stuff was from over five years ago. Logically explain that to me why I should still be on it. Like I said, I understand why I was on it in the first place. I just don't think I should still be on in when my record is almost spot free for the last five years. [ 27. Everything looks great except for that fur.

So I was a pretty bad driver for the first few years I had my license. I had three wrecks and four or five tickets through part of my freshman year in college. I completely understand why I was put on this in the first place. I realized that I needed to quit doing that so I started driving much more responsible. So in the last five years I've had one ticket and zero accidents. Since that one ticket was within the last three years I can't get off of the Indemnity insurance, it will be more than three years when my next renewal comes up so I will be able to get regular insurance. Then the renewal after that I will be 25. My rates should drop significantly, I can't wait. smile.gif I just don’t know why it’s so hard to get back off of Indemnity insurance! redface.gif

I'll have to tell my dad about that. He was planning on buying a jack from there because our is kind of messed up. Thanks.

All's that will do is make me want to kill someone on the other side of the world that is working their phone lines. It's BP's decision to not allow the 20 digit number to be used either in their store, or over the phone to replace the card, because they say it allows people to use stolen cards (or stolen numbers). That's just the easiest way for them to deal with it and the most incontinent way for the customers. They could very easily have you fill something out in the store and say they will send you a new one after some time period. Rather than making me send it in, and pay postage for it. That would be a little annoying that the card died in the first place, but nothing rant worthy. Also, that logic makes no sense, I (or my Mom in this case), didn't buy anything directly from the company that supplies these cards to BP. We bought something from BP, it was faulty, and now it's a pain to deal with. That would be like if you had a car that was under warranty, and the rotors failed immediately. Then I tell you to go complain to Brembo and you have to send your rotors back to them to get new rotors. Not to mention the retard, who was a manager at that BP, that couldn't tell me the correct way to deal with the bad card, which caused me to try to use it again. That was definitely the most annoying part of the whole ordeal, then finding out that I have to mail it in because they sold me a card that didn't work. This is just bad service no matter which way someone tries to paint the picture.

You’re kidding me right, why would you ‘back’ that piece of shit? Having said that, I can't believe anyone is surprised that he went where he did. He was going to be worth the gamble to some team. I would have guessed that he would have gone a little later, but I'm not shocked he went where he did. I would have been shocked if he would have went first or second round. The kid still has so much raw talent.

So my mom got me a gift card to BP for Easter. I go to use it and it doesn't work. The guy at the counter makes it sound like there is something wrong with the system that he cannot enter it in manually. He tells me to call the # on the back and check the balance; if it is ok then it should work. Call and check, says it's $25. Go to use it again, the magnetic strip doesn't work. Of course it doesn't, it didn't work last time. But this time the same guy tells me that they aren't allowed to enter it in manually so I'm going to have to call the # and get a replacement. Well I just called the # and I have to send it to them to get a replacement, what a bunch of horse shit because they gave someone a faulty card I have to take all of this time and waste a stamp sending it back into them. All’s I want to be able to do is buy some beer with this damn card since I will never use BP gas and my mom accidentally got me a card to the wrong place. redface.gif

I wasn't even there for this one but have seen Berto's drunken antics a few times. He definitely does and says some funny shit.

Yeah, it worked really well. Too bad we ran into that other snag that made the job take twice as long. graemlins/doh.gif

I was thinking about turbocharging my Saturn when I had it until I actually learned about cars.

I'm fine drinking massive amounts as long as I don't get feed any devil water before hand, aka 'Absinthe'.

It sounds to me like you’re the self-centered one. So what if someone lives a little differently than you or has a different moral opinion than you do. Does that make them an evil person that you need to change? Fuck no. And if you think that is the case, fuck you. Go find a country that forces your ideals upon their people and go live there if you want to think everyone should have the same ideals. I'm going to go get drunk and run over some aborted fetuses now.

v=d/t v=200mph d=?? (how long is 270) I personally wouldn't want to drive that thing around Columbus streets, the expansion joints and potholes annoy me in my car. They would destroy one of those things.

I heard someone in Dublin bought out Quantum, so they very well may have the dyno still, but that's all I know and just something I heard from someone. Very well may be true or untrue. The other one is at Switzer Performance. The guy that started this place (Tym Switzer) was the Brains behind much of what happened to make Buschur Racing what it is today, but he has started his own shop. He has a very good reputation over on Columbus DSM and is friends (both in the business sense and the friendships sense) with a few people over there. He's offered some good advice and some good deals to the members over there. Seems like a standup guy from everything I've heard and seen. Only thing is he's two hours north of here. That's not bad though considering a few years ago you had to drive to Detroit or Chicago to find an AWD dyno. http://www.switzerperformanceinnovation.com/ His prices are right on the main page. Good luck with whatever you are looking to get dynoed.
