Not my car, nor anyone I know, just figured I'd post it here because it seemed like a good deal for someone looking to get and modify an RX7. IIRC it had ~100k on it. Had a list of about a dozen and a half mods and their prices with a total of $11.X k. After-market (Petit racing?) turbos, ACT 6 puck clutch, etc. I didn’t look over it really at all, but looked clean, nothing cosmetic jumped out at me. Saw it out at the auto-cross on Sunday (it wasn’t being raced that day). The guys cell is 614-406-6345.

I'm going to assume by a roll he mean a barrel roll and by fakey he means facing fakey when he went up to the jump, or he was facing regular and rolled backwards (towards his back, landing 'blind', like when you do a front flip). I don’t know if these are the correct terms or not, but this is just what I’ve heard used. I have no clue what the A-Frame jump is. Maybe it was one of the smaller ones that I never bothered with at Mad River, the ones that I went over to gain speed for the 'bigger' jumps? You know, those retarded ones at the top of the hill last year at Mad River. The ones that if you covered any distance over them you'd have a long ways down because the down side was immediately after the lip of the jump. Kyle, are they still putting the terrain park this year where the old bunny hill was?

No, that's one extreme, and it would work about as well as the purely capitalistic society that people here are suggesting. They (any political or socio-economic structure) will all fail in their purest form.

You are the exception that proves the rule. Yeah someone who graduates high school and ends up being a secretary probably isn't the most head strong person in the world. But how would that person have contributed to things running the way they do if they only had a fifth grade education? That same person, the 'average' person would have likely ended up homeless. Not contributing to society in any way, shape or form. I'll commend you for what you've accomplished, it truly is amazing. But it's not just about 'me, me, me!' You have to try and look at the bigger picture. This is about the sixth time I've said this concerning they way people on this board think about things sometimes. Especially in connection with how they've voted... For the greater good. Don't just read it, think about it. The basic education system (k-12) isn't like some kind of 'hand out', like some people see welfare as. It is 110% something that is absolutely necessary, and everyone should get the same level of education. Period. And I'm not just saying, vote for levys because schools need the money. I already stated that the school systems need reformed. I would find it very frustrating too if I felt that my tax money was being squandered by the administration.

Think about the statement "For the greater good" for a couple of seconds. Let's put it this way. If that were implemented, in 50 years no one but the rich would be able to afford school. You don't give a shit hunh? I suspect someone with that attitude wouldn't. It's not your kids. What if that had been implemented 50 years before you started school? What about if it were 50 years before you parents started school? Survey says, there was a very good chance, you, I, and most people on this board wouldn't have gotten any kind of education. Our education system needs to be far better, through both massive reform and overall better funding. None of this made up No Child Left Behind stuff that only serves to make a few politicians look better at the cost of the whole entire education system. Selfish people make me fucking sick.

Yeah, what he said. I will assume your rims have a hole in the center of them to get to it. On the Audi I had to put the rim back on with the e-brake on, drop it on the ground so the drive terrain wouldn't move. The again, it took my weight on the end of a 2ft. breaker bar. Granted spec. is 85ft/lb plus 270 degrees! I was starting to crank the engine and move the whole car when I had it in the air. I have a nice 2ft. 1/2" breaker/cheater bar if you want to borrow it. I started breaking ratchets left and right so I went and bought one.

[sarcasm]Yeah, and he almost became a professional boarder on it. There were scouts out watching him when he tried to do that trick that hurt him. Otherwise he would have been moving to Colorado on sponsorship.[/sarcasm]

So you could have summed up your post by, "I disagree, I like crappy beer"?

Whut he said. Any place like Home Depot or Lowes. Radio shack might have stuff like that, but I bet it will be significantly more expensive than at a large hardware store.

He posted about tomorrow and open up the link for the location. I think it's safe to assume that tonight is Mr.Gero's like normal.

whoops, wrong thread.

It was funny then. The only thing that wasn't funny then and isn't funny now was Marc talking about trying to suck his own wang. graemlins/popcorn.gif

Marc thinks some girl he was friends with in high school made shitting hot. True story, make of it what you will.

Haha! Good thing she's not on here (I don't think at least). graemlins/lol.gif

Piggy backing is hard enough to get right, some people put stand alones on and never get them running right. If using an SAFC and RRFPR is what is commonly done on your car for fuel tuning when people go turbo, I'd go that route if I were you! Not trying to discourage you, but you probably don't need a stand alone for what you are trying to do, and it will be alot easier to go piggy back. I'll bet you have plenty on your hands just trying to get it running right with an SAFC. Don’t make this project any harder than it has to be. [ 05. November 2004, 10:42 AM: Message edited by: Neo ]

Pulp Fiction, Wide Screen, Now (11-03 7-10) on AMC
Trouble Maker replied to Trouble Maker's topic in Dumpster
Yeah, what Wease said. It was on last night (11-03) from 7-10PM in Wide Screen. AMC is the American Movie Channel (WOW channel 36, Time Warner channel 54). Looks like they are doing a bunch of cool movies in widescreen this month, but I couldn't really find anything on their site about it. If I'm not watching Cartoon Network, it's one of the channels I'm likely on. Adam, I've been thinking about making a post to go to see Saw, Ray, The Forgotten or Shaun Of The Dead (although I'll probably wait for this one on DVD now) if you'd like to go see any of those? I really want to go see all of those at some point. -
No, he meant jeans. He's just that dumb. graemlins/lol.gif

He actually didn't pop into my head until I read this article. Makes perfect sense though. Hillary wouldn't stand a chance against him.

I could give a shit less, just clarifying because what you wrote didn't make sense.

Yes, skiing is 'easier' at first. The issue is that you can be a horrible skier and get away with it. If you snowboard completely wrong, you will fall on your face, and it will hurt. If you ski completely wrong, you just look like a dumb ass. Granted, you will probably fall more, but just not as much as if you snowboard wrong. That's probably what you experienced the first time. I've talked to alot of people that get turned off to snowboarding because they fell eleventybillion times the first time they went and were sore for three or four days. It's not so much that one is easier than the other, it's just that the learning curve at first is very step and forced with snowboarding. Whereas with skiing, it's easier to go at your own pace at first. Once you get past the initial learning phase, how do I turn, how do I stop, how do I not fall, the crap you learn being cautious on the bunny hill, they are pretty much the same. Just different physical mechanics to make the plank(s) do what you want it to do. My second time I snowboarded was much easier, granted, I did pick it up by then end of my first time I boarded. It was three or four years between the two though. My second night boarding felt like a good, hard, night of skiing for me. So, once you get the hang of it, it's not nearly as bad.

Figured I'd let a few people know. I've been wanting to watch this and From Dusk Till Dawn again for a while now, see some old Tarantino flicks. Happy watching. graemlins/thumb.gif

Yeah, I know it's a pipe dream, but one can hope. We are about due for a really great president.
