Trouble Maker

Anyone? I could really use the schematics and the pc board drawings for this. I'm going to bring it into work and a guy who used to be a tech at Sun is going to look at it with me and see what we can't find. Any help, even just leads as to where I might be able to get them (without paying Onkyo $$$ for them) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Actually, it took them 1 hour and 22 minutes to take all of the pictures. 3:06 was just in the middle of that time span. So either those two portions (I found two clocks on towers in the middle top of the picture) were taken very close in time to each other, or they went in and 'made' them the same time via Photoshop or the like. I wanted to find another clock farther away from those two to see which one it was, but couldn't find any. Anyone else see any other clocks?

Yeah, but the really bad ass thing they did was make the software to splice them together. If you read it, no software that is out right now will do pictures that big. It's also looks like whatever software they made, is being used across multiple PC's. Simply bad ass. Hell, one of the senior design groups the year I graduated did the panoramic picture thing, and they only did the mechanical and electronic part for panning. They did that with pan and tilt, and that was only part of the project. That's why I posted that link too, it sounded like people though they took the picture with one camera shot.

Ok, so this thing is about four years old and I'm really not ready to buy a new receiver yet. I also wanted to keep this one when I got a new one for when I move into my own place to use in the bedroom. Really pisses me off that it's stopped working. Probably wouldn't be worth it to take it somewhere to get it fixed, when I could just put that few hundred bucks towards the new receiver I want. At any rate, onto what it does. About four days ago I went to watch TV one night. The thing acted like it worked (front panel on, switches inputs, volume goes up and down), but I get no sound out of the speakers. Next day I wanted to listen to some music, worked fine (different audio input). Day after that, I try to turn it on and I get nothing. It acts like it wants to work, just nothing out of the speakers. It doesn't even make any noise. Also, when I go to play a DVD, it acts like the signal isn't there (doesn't auto select to DD or whatever signal is there when the movie starts). Last night I turned it on, worked for about 10 seconds, and then quit. Any clues as to what’s wrong? How would I diagnosis this? Anyone know where I can find a schematic and/or PC board drawing for this thing? TIA.

Now on to trying to be impartial again and I'll be honest, I think you're extremely arrogant. But I think that you could be a very good asset to this board again, if you play well with everyone. You think by calming that down a bit and posting a bit more tech based stuff, all of the sudden certain people are going to stop flaming you every chance they get. News flash, it's not going to happen. By your actions you've already lost the respect of certain people on here (you also have to take responsibility that they were your actions). Not that you probably give a shit, don't take that as a complement either. The only way you’re going to stop getting constantly bashed is to STOP ALL OF YOUR POST like the one that stared this one. I'm trying to be helpful to this situation and be civil, even though I don't like the way you act on here alot of the time, but I think everyone can change. I think Anthony is a prime example of that. I really think it might be helpful to you if you sat down and had a talk with him about what's happened lately, if that's cool with him. I'm not going to give you any more attention, because I'm guessing that's what you want. I felt bad about not PMing you last time, but I felt bad about that because I really thought you were going to take what I said to heart. You obviously didn't so I'm not going to bother with PM's this time. I really think you bring a lot of negativity to the board and almost none of your automotive knowledge, and I think it's about time you shape up, or ship out.

Some cats are fine. Others, there is no way I'd want to live with them. That's just on a personality level. On a note that’s impartial, I'm fairly allergic to them. If I touch them, anything with cat hair (or dander) on it, and it somehow gets into my eyes, it will make for me being miserable for a while. Really stuffed up, runny nose, eyes itching like hell.

I think the topic pretty much covers it. Games this Sunday, the 5th. Dad bought the tickets a month ago from someone at his work that has season tickets. We had a death in the family last week so it's been a really hectic week and he and my mom just don't feel like driving up there this weekend. I know this is short notice, anyone who wants them, give me a call and we can arrange something. Daily driver being your race car is not a good idea if you can avoid it. I have a quick car that I ocasionally race that's my daily, but I have a 'cheap' car that's my race car (92 Talon). I won't be racing the daily once I get my Talon back up and running.
