Deal if you want it before someone buys one of these 2 cars. Buy the Focus for my non-CR member price, $5k, and get the Sunfire for 'free'. -

I kind of want one. How does he like his? -
So, is that add actually from a group or did someone that is pro-guns make that add as if it were from an anti-gun group? Not saying you point is that far off, but it seems things like that are more often spoofs, satire, or misdirection. EDIT: Guess I should have read the OP... still not sure if that add is from the actual group or not though, interested in know if it was.

Someone buy this, I want to go check out Chad's truck but can't buy another car until I sell these cars! New run down since I've fixed some stuff. Goods: Runs and drives great, is a fun little car and has a ton of room inside. This car started right up even on the coldest of days this winter. New HID bulbs, both sides. Hew drivers side fog assembly. New wiper relay, front wipers park perfectly now (common issue). New cabin air filter. Outside cleaned and waxed (see above pics). A few things I forgot. I did the t-stat o-rings over the winter due to a leak, common issue, but one more thing you won't have to worry about. The car had a sticker on it for some 'system cleanings' from sears at 100kmi FWIW. Fuel system cleaning, coolant exchange, power steering, engine bay. Whatever those mean, I also cleaned a bunch of the engine bay out as I was working on going through some things. Bads: Drivers side heated seat doesn't work. Crack in the bumper. These are the only two issue I know of and won't be fixed. -
I would sell it for way more than what it should be or was worth and be happy.

Why wouldn't you staple it in? -
Yup, you're a hoarder.

Are you a hoarder?

Seems like in Columbus at least, you don't need a permit if it's a 'shed' of less than 169sqft. Confirming this and what makes it a shed is part of why I posted this. Are you technically in a city or not? Do you really need a shed? I think you've got more combined garage space, not including the shed, than my house and garage combined. :fa:
-
Did you use treated lumber? Did you level out the ground at all, put anything else down; gravel? I'd like to do this as simple as possible, but not fall apart in 3 years.

The light and outlet would just be nice to have, but I would really like to put the air compressor in there. If I have to run a power cord through the wall into the garage and connect it in there, it's not the end of the world. Speaking of what makes it a 'permanent' structure versus a shed, does having it that close to the garage cause any issues? If I custom build it and only make three walls and have the fourth wall be the existing outside wall of the garage, is that now a part of the garage or still a 'shed'?

So, I want to get some basic lawn equipment out of my garage, as it's always in the way. Even those kit's that are 8'x4' would be big enough. We are planning to tear down and build a bigger garage down the road, maybe 5-7 years, so this is a somewhat temporary storage space. Are the kits any good, are they ok deals? If I design/build my own, will it be a lot less expensive? Metal, wood or plastic? What about the foundation. Should I do concrete... considering the 'temporary' nature of this build? If not, what do you do for the foundation? I would like to butt this up to the back of my garage. First purpose is to keep it out of the way in the back yard. Secondly I'd like to run electricity into it; for a light, outlet and probably stick my air compressor in it (run the air back through). Any special considerations for this. One of my concerns is if it's free standing and I just 'butt' it up to the garage, do you think I will have condensation issues there? If I do something like the 4x8 size, I plan to do a 'lean to' style. It's a typical gable roof and this will be under the small gable overhang. What about the elec runing through the walls, can I just use outdoor rated wire? What can I build in Columbus, do I need a permit? http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1377911&postcount=6 http://library.municode.com/showDocumentFrame.aspx?clientID=16219&jobId=&docID=9 http://library.municode.com/showDocumentFrame.aspx?clientID=16219&jobId=&docID=8 I'm thinking something like this. http://www.lowes.com/pd_562137-36975-182464_1z0wg8d+1z0yx69__?productId=50152456&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar%7C1%26page%3D1&facetInfo=Lean-to

Front plate ticket, $45 Your car crashed into group of pedestrians by 16 year old valet, priceless. It could be the biggest piece of shit ever and I won't valet it. The last time I valeted a car, against my better judgment, they lost my keys.

So, is that a working prototype or a VR simulation for showing the concept? If that's a real working prototype, that's pretty cool stuff. Regardless, it's a cool concept. -

It's even more drastic in person. They look new now. Two different members on here said something about doing this after seeing the car/pictures, so I figured I better take their advice. Yes, I used a kit. Some of the guys at the Autozone down the street actually know a little, and won't bullshit you when they don't so I usually ask them about stuff like this. I asked and they said the 3M kit was the only one that worked well so that's what I used. It has a drill attachment, 3 different levels of sandpaper, then a buffing compound/foam pad to put it on. It was pretty tedious, but made a world of difference. http://www.3m.com/product/information/Headlight-Lens-Repair.html -
