  1. We need to teach you how to heel-and-toe.
  2. Yup! I'm 10 minutes past Marysville and we are socked in. 42mph 10 minute average wind speed with hail currently. At least we are finally getting some rain!
  3. Good job, you've won the Idiotic Post Of The Day Award! It's a lofty goal on a site with as many morons as CR has. Many attempt to receive this award for years and never do. So sir, with my deepest regards I give you a well earned congratulations.
  4. Phil Spector invented the wall of sound, and he eventually killed a woman. GMoney will follow a slightly different path in life after inventing the wall of text where he wil eventually eat his own face off after trying bath salts.
  5. Wait, according to the story on 10TV, they left and came back to no car. If they didn't originally see a passenger in the car, and the car wasn't there when they came back, how do they even know there was ever a passenger in the car?
  6. It seems like the Subaru's of the same age go for a lot more money. Maybe due to Saab no longer selling cars & Subaru's seem to keep their value better than other cars due to the loyal following. On autotrader right now. 05-06 Subaru WRX, manual, anywhere in the country. 34 cars. Highest Price:$18,991 Lowest Price:$8,500 Average Price:$14,685 05-06 Saab 9-2x Aero (turbo=same as WRX), manual, anywhere in the country. 6 cars. Highest Price:$12,995 Lowest Price:$9,250 Average Price:$10,910 One thing to note is that even though I searched for 05-06, there were no 06 Saab's since there was such a low amount made and I'm sure they are the most sought after variation (due to 2.5L engine). Searching for WRX 05 only. 15 cars Highest Price:$17,995 Lowest Price:$8,995 Average Price:$13,606
  7. I bought a beater a few years ago. The water pump took a shit last Thursday, replaced it last night, but it now has 182kmi and I'm really thinking about a newer car. AWD, stick & wagon, but not a huge car, has been my 'ideal' car for a few years. So I'm really diging the info in this thread. It's really a shame they don't sell the AWD Fit here. Even though it's dog slow, and not an ideal AWD system. The utility of space inside of those cars, especially for their external size, is downright amazing. I'm probably going to go check out one of the Saab 9-2x's at some point. I knew about them when they came out, but have no idea how they dropped off my radar until this point. One thing I found looking at these, for the Aero's (turbo=same as WRX), the 05' had the 2.0L and 06' had the 2.5L and more power. But it looks like the only sold about 330 06' Aeros, so they are probably hard to find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Impreza_(second_generation)#Saab_9-2X These cars are few and far between, I think there are something like 20 for sale in the whole US on Auto Trader.
  8. I'm sure some will perform better than others but whatever you get pony up for a set of tires with the mountain and snow flake on the side. From what I understand, if the tire chain signs are up you either needs tire chains on, or these tires on to legally drive (on the highways?). Probably any modern AWD car and these tires and you will be set during the winter. Only thing I might worry about is ground clearance. On a side note, where in CO are you moving. I'm jelly. :fa:
  9. That's the difference between someone with a GED who started working at big lots when they were 16 and someone who went to high school, then undergrad, then got a doctorate, then did a residency, then did at least 1 fellowship (maybe 2, surgery and ortho?), and finally started working when they were 30+ with $x00,000k in school debt. You could have chosen to be a surgeon too.
  10. I was cleared by my PT to ride for the first time since my ACL tear & surgery. Just 2 months out from my surgery. First ride under my belt for the year at 10 paved miles. So hard not to take the little silvers of dirt that cut off into the woods beside the paved trail. Just in case no one was aware, It's fucking hot out this afternoon.

  12. Ya, fuck that place. We went there for an anniversary an anniversary a few years ago with almost the same idea. Stay the night, go to a really nice dinner, drinks after, just take cabs around downtown. NEVER AGAIN. The valet lost our keys, well gave them to another person. Wasted hours of our Sunday morning, caused stress at the end of what should have been a nice relaxing weekend. In generally they handled the situation very poorly. I had to call them back over half a dozen times to get some remedy. First call the said they would refund my room (I had to ask for this, they offered nothing). But I kept having to call back to get the room refunded. They would say it was taken care of and it wouldn’t be refunded. Call back a few days later and same thing.
  13. It's a slow infection that will eventually take over your body and turn you into a zombie. The only way to stop it is to cut off the whole finger.

    CR Golfers

    Makes perfect cents.
  15. Every place I've ever rented from automagically goes to the weekly rate once that cost is less than the per day rate. i.e. $100/day, $450/week. Rent for 5 days and get charged the weekly rate.
  16. Will you be going RWD with this one? :gabe:

    BBQ Sauce

HOPE HE'S BETTER AT MAKING SAUS THAN YOU ARE AT TAKING PICTURES We shop at Hills and Weilands often, will try it if we see it there.
  18. I hate to agree with Jeffro, since he is mentally incompetent, but he's right. There is a ton of fruit there you simply can't get here, that's way better than pineapple. I feel in love with the apple bananas and rambutan's there. We were on the big island and Maui at the end of March into the beginning of April. We stayed in condo's and went to fish markets/farmers markets just about every day to get food to eat/cook at our place.
  19. Jonzey joining you? :gabe: Summer is getting busy. I will probably be heading up to Mid-Ohio, missing another C&C.
  20. It's beyond a time suck, have fun with it!

    Threats

You should probably just end your suffering. :gabe:
  22. I highly suggest you stop walking. :gabe:
  23. Kirk suggested me to the Ortho I ended up using for my ACL reconstruction and I'm very happy with the results. Even if I have to go to ANOTHER followup today, which I will take an hour+ of my time to talk to him for 2 minutes. :fuuuu: This is every ortho from what I understand, I'm just bitching here. I'm also going to an excellent PT, suggested by another PT around town. Do pre-op PT, you will be happy you did.
