  1. Give wife your GTi, buy R32, everyone is happy! Isn't the eos overpriced?
  2. Who has hop slam in bottles? Went to GE on Swamill and didn't see it, where they had a stack of it a few weeks ago. I want another 6 pack! Somewhat on subject, Elevators seasonal is Horny Goat currently. I don't normally sway towards darker beers, but this one is really good. Its an oak aged porter and it's amazing!
  3. Never been to either steak place there, so I can't comment on those. Meh, only had appetizers and deserts at Bar Louie... they were decedent enough, but nothing to write home about. I'd go there for drinks and the scenery. Cheescake factory. :thumbdown Abuelo's is pretty good up there too. PF Changs is good too but overpriced, imho. But these are ALL chain type places so I can't really say I stand behind any recommendation 100% so far. If you are willing to travel, to around downtown, then we can really talk. Lots of good local places closer to the heart of the city. :megusta: EDIT: Looks like you guys beat me to that punch by a little bit. Check out these sites. http://www.dineoriginalscolumbus.com/ http://restaurantweekcolumbus.com/ http://www.columbusunderground.com/ Let us know what type of food you might like, and where you might be willing to or want to travel. There are way too many good choices to narrow it down. EDIT: Looks like they beat me to the punch. Check out these sites. Also, let us know where you would like to go in the city and what type of food you want. Then we can narrow it down as there are way too many good choices to just suggest 1 or 2 'best' places. http://www.dineoriginalscolumbus.com/ http://restaurantweekcolumbus.com/ http://www.columbusunderground.com/ The Refectoryis good, but relatively expensive. I'm sure you can check out the menu online to get an idea. Also, the food is not for everyone. I liked it, my partner didn't hate it, but she didn't love it either. If you like beer, stop in down the street and grab a beer at Winking Lizards. I don't think you have these in Cincy? I'm just saying Winking Lizards since you are 2 blocks away if you are at the Refectory. We have a a few good breweries in town (Elevator, Columbus Brewing Company, Barley's), if you want to try some local beer.
  4. Does walking up a set of stairs make you winded? :fa:
  5. This, I miss my Puma's and need to get another pair.

  7. I've figured out the only reason why this crazy shit bag hasn't done this. Clearly only white people are voting for this guy so there is no point, it would be redundant. Saying White People for Santorum would be like saying Place of Learning High School, or Race Track Drag Strip.

  9. I'll make sure I use that toilet the next time I shit out 4 intact chess sets.
  10. Is this still available? If so, would you be willing to part just the trans? I have a coworker who is interested. If it's a possibility, I can get you two in contact with each other.

  12. I'm also VERY excited for Gravity. Alfonso Cuarón is the Director/Writer/Produce/Editor for this film. He was also the Director/Writer/Editor for Children of Men, which is one of my favorite movies. Go watch Children of Men (right now) if you haven't.
  13. I've been talking to a few people about doing a marathon a few weeks before, then go see Prometheus when it comes out. Maybe all of the Alien movies, or maybe just the first one and Blade Runner.
  14. I CAN DO IT FOR $10K USING SERVER CASES!
  15. Some good viral marketing for Prometheus that recently hit the web. https://www.weylandindustries.com/
  16. I usually use Google Translate for small items. And I did find that, it only spits out a webpage, but it does keep some semblance of the original formatting, including cells. It doesn't like when there are multiple lines of text in 1 cell. It splits it up into 2 (or more) cells. So that throws everything off. So it does save some copy and paste, mostly the copy part, but I will still have to manually paste a lot back over. This would be perfect for a .doc... but then if it were a .doc I could just do 1 copy and paste anyways. This is literally thousands of cells. I figured out a roundabout way of doing it with Google Docs. In office, simply because it's easier. Copy the whole tab, make a second version i.e. original is Tab and new is Tab(2) or Tab_EN In Tab_EN wherever there is something you want translated type =GoogleTranslate(Tab!A1,"Ja","En") Where Tab is the sheet you want and A1 is the cell that you are currently in. You can then copy and paste (formula only to preserve formatting) to any other cells you want translated. If you move to a new, for example TabA, make sure you change it to =GoogleTranslate(TabA!A1,"Ja","En") You can just put =GoogleTranslate(Tab!A1) and it should auto-detect, but I figured I might get more accurate results if I forced it. All of these cells will say #NAME? because MS Office doesn't recognize that formula. Upload to Google Docs. I opened it and checked everything out... I'm not sure if you have to do this or not for Google Docs to recognize the =GoogleTranslate forumlas. Save it and open it up in MS Office, all of those cells will be English text now.
  17. 4K projector :masturboy: 12K pricetag
  18. I've heard goats milk helps. :gabe: IDK what the deciding factors are. Like Kirk said in the other thread, you'll want to talk to an ENT specialist, or even just your regular doctor to see if they think you should go see one. AFAIK nobody here is in the field so it's really just anecdotal stories. If an ENT (or two) says they need them, it really seems like a no-brainier.
  19. Isn't a lot of the $$$ of a roof rack system wrapped up in the rails and what you put on it; bike mounts, ski mounts, etc. Then when you get a car, you get a new set of feet for <$100 (retail)?
  20. Does anyone know of a cheap (or free) translation software? I have to do a big spreadsheet and I might go insane if I have to copy and paste every cell into Google translate. I'm thinking a piece of software that uses Google translate (or some web resource) as it's back-end, but you can plug a .doc or .xls into should be pretty easy. This is for Japanese to English (and the other way around would help too), if that makes any difference.
  21. The size of the screen also depends on what the projector can do, it's throw. They have zooms on the front of them, for lack of a better description. This will also effect if it works well being closer or further away from the screen. Which is not only dependent on your room size, but maybe the ceiling layout. You can plug in a projector you are thinking about getting, distance it will be from the screen and intended screen size here. http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator-pro.cfm There are also more calcs which take luminoicity into account, based on projector lumens, distance from the screen and screen gain. Sorry, I couldn't easily find one, but you should be able to find one somewhere. You might want to consider a screen with a higher gain, if you are watching mostly sports, even if you have no external light. This place seems to have good customer feed back, and they have a lot of projectors and screens at good prices. Some of their combos seem like killer deals. http://www.projectorpeople.com/ I've never bought from them, but have heard lots of good things. I would say I can't wait until we buy a place to make my HT room, but it's a toss up as to whether the basement will be finished or even finish-able. Damn old houses.

  23. They only have 1 (paved) road, so that must be where it goes.
  24. Like I said, it's as simple as coming out, waiting in line and going down the hill as fast as you can. PM pass is $20... don't take my word for it but I assume that means 12PM on, so that would get you there for all of the events.
