  1. Anyone know the codes/laws in Columbus? Buying a house, probably in Columbus this year and would really like to do some form of renewable energy down the road... after we make the house efficient since I think that is a far more important part of the equation than renewable energy.
  2. Do you really think the fundamentalist will vote a non-christian into office? :dumb:
  3. Going through the first season on netflix... I agree that it's hilarious.
  4. That was a blast. I hadn't skied that hard in Ohio in a while. The people I usually ride with just aren't as high of energy as I really like to ride. Gabe, Shanton & Miller, we will have to ride again soon. Paul, good job trying to keep up. Miller, you left your ugly ass hat on the table at MRM. I have that and a t-shirt I think is yours at my place. Let me know when you would like to pick it up.

    VZW LOL

I fucking HATE having a conversation by text. A text gets right to the point except for when it doesn't which is anything beyond a simple single question and answer. A 30 second conversation takes much longer by text. If you actually need to have a conversation with someone it's much easier and quicker to just talk to the person.
  6. Probably every car put out now is tested in every imaginable (reasonable) condition, situation. Just because it doesn't make sense doesn't mean a customer isn't going to drive it that way. And yes, that car will have ESC (including traction control), it's mandatory on every car 2012 and up.
  7. Fuck the zero VOC stuff... get the old school stuff and you will get high as a kite while you are painting. :gabe:

  9. Saw it, thanks! :fuckyeah: I assume one of those is for Yota or Ben?
  10. My shift is 8-4 (hill opens at 9), so I will be there all day. I think Joe said he's planning to either leave here or get there around 11.
  11. Well, when our rent got lost in the mail, it did actually get lost in the mail. Twice it's gotten to them weeks after we sent it looking like it had been mailed to Antarctica and back. We just told them to keep it for the next month. This didn't get lost in the mail, they actually wrote the wrong address. They only have 6 rentals and only had to mail this to 5, it shouldn't have been that hard. Admittedly there have been times I sent the rent on the 31st or 1st when I forget to send it early and they are super cool about that. But this is very likely what we will do. But then I would have 35 less doll hairs to get drink.
  12. It's not about the money amount. But maybe it is, and it's not worth it. I guess that's what I was getting at.
  13. You could go in on 1/10 of a $10,000 scratch off ticket.
  14. You should get 1,000 $1 bills and make it rain.
  15. You live in Ohio, might as well end your life now instead of waiting to never get any real snow. We are supposed to get a little snow today and tonight, then 2-3 inches tomorrow night. You've lived with 2-3 inches your whole life, you should be ok with it by now. :fa:

    WWCRD?

What Would CR Do? Positives: Our rent is inexpensive. Our land lords are raising our rent for the first time in ~3 years by only ~5%, but it will still be inexpensive. They don't care if our rent is a few days late. They will call us if it hasn't gotten their by the 5th and we can hand drop it off (has been lost in the mail a few times). Despite that they've never charged us a late fee. They are nice people and always seem to be willing to work with you on anything. Negatives: They don't do very much for us... are slow to not fix things correctly. The condo complex does very little upkeep, won't tow cars in your spot or parked illegally... they are saying one of the reasons for the rate increase is the condo complex is increasing their fee. We notify our landlords about issues around the complex and nothing is every done. Anyways, it's not all roses but it's not really not bad at all. I've had much, much worse experiences with renting at places that cost much more than our current place. So, onto the question. They tried to mail out our increase notice in December but mailed it to our neighbor who sent it back return to sender. They sent us the original letter postmarked December in another envelope and we just got it. They are raising our rent effective Feb 1. This is not the 30 days notice we are supposed to legally get. Should we push the issue or not? We are moving out sometime this year one way or another, likely buying a house somewhere in town. So maybe not worth it to push the issue. Really, it's only $35 but there is some principal and legal 'rightness' behind pushing the issue.
  17. Y U MAKE SAME JOKE I DID 3 MINUTES LATER?
  18. I thought it was $1000MXN? :gabe:
  19. Well since he had a $ sign in front of it I assumed he meant USD and the pesos thing was just a joke. Why in the fuck would anyone ask how to spend $75 USD? :dumb:
  20. There is a driving manuver called a fish hook. I work for a Japanese company. The Japanese people sometimes have a hard time with English being their second language. We were in a meeting and a Japanese guy pulled up the folder with his data logging files in it. They were all titled 'fish fuck'. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7MpzXaGM2wg/TvK82UhhD1I/AAAAAAAACl0/FcXND2zwlp4/s400/Like-a-Boss.jpg To the OP, if this is what you look forward to during the winter, watching an auction, or really anything on TV, you need to get a winter hobby. Don't get me wrong, this is cool to watch, but not what you should look forward to simply because you "can't" get outside and do anything.
  21. You could go downtown, get a hotel, go to a nice restaurant, then go out to a bar. We did this for our Anniversary last year and it was a good time... except for the hotel valet losing our keys. :fuuuu: Or really any weekend trip anywhere (driving) should just about be covered by $1k. Maybe Cleveland, Cincinnati or Indy. Stay in their downtown and do the same thing.
  22. I would say better than Two Hearted; not just hops, more subtle flavors, just slightly fruity and nutty. And at 10% ABV, I don't think you can go wrong with that. Wroth it for a 6 pack if you like hoppy beers
  23. That's because only 5 peolple live in the whole state. You do realize this is about changing the interchanges, not upkeep?
  24. How is the Supra (manual) trans for shifting at those RPMs?
