    Karting

Just FYI - I have a 125cc TaG Tony Kart that I want to get rid of. If you're interested PM me. It would be a great way to start out and the chassis has very low miles. I bought it from a guy that only ran a handful of practice days in it, then I ran one practice day and haven't been able to use it since. Everything goes with it; kart, extra sprokets, MyCron Lap timer, new steering wheel, new seat, heavy duty stand with inflateable tires, matching fire suit (if you fit in it), and probably a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting.
  2. One of the better Noob intro's I've seen in a long time. Welcome.
  3. Old 38 mm next to new MV-S 38 mm http://www.tialmedia.com/NH/MVS.jpg Redesigned MV-S with provisions for water cooling (does not require water cooling, but it's there for road raceing or engine bays without enough airflow for cooling) http://www.tialmedia.com/NH/top900.jpg Old 44 mm next to new MV-R 44mm http://www.tialmedia.com/NH/mvrv44.jpg
  4. I would much rather be using a TiAL MV-R or MV-S.
  5. http://translogic.aolautos.com/2011/03/07/translogic-45-innespace-seabreacher/ How the hell do I get one of these!? I MUST HAVE!
  6. Nice. Need interior pics though. You're salesman should apply to be Charlie Sheen's sidekick.
  7. My Capital One card has no blackout dates and the rewards don't rotate (occasionally they will offer bonus rewards for some categories, but not often). When you want to cash in your points for airfare you just buy your tickets as normal (you don't have to book through the credit cards agents) and they will reimburse you. You can either do this over the phone, or online when you sign in to your account. It was extremely easy and I had round-trip airfare to Moorea, French Polynesia for both my wife and I completely paid for with points.
  8. There was luan under my kitchen floor too. It was glued down and stapled 100 times in each board. Needless to say, I put the cement board right over it.
  9. Really? I thought it was taxation without representation.
  10. Michigan had some of the highest tax breaks to the movie industry since 2008. They were trying to draw a different industry to the state...and it worked. A lot of movies have been shot in MI and movie studios set up shop. Then, two weeks ago, the new governor unveiled his new budget and almost eliminated all tax credits to the industry in order to get cut the deficit. After that announcement, many projects which already committed to MI immediately pulled out. May have lost the next Batman movie to Chicago too.
  11. I am no pro, but I've done my share of tile around my house and I've always used thin set under the backer. It's what the manufacturer states as proper installation procedure in order to fully support the cement board and take up any air gaps that would flex and cause your tile to crack. My friend just squirts a small amount of liquid nails on the back instead, but there's no way I'm going to re-do parts of my floor just to skip such a simple step.
  12. I agree AMEX is nice, but it is not accepted everywhere, which can end up being annoying sometimes.
  13. I use Capital One and have been happy with it. I save all my points until I want to take a big trip, then cash them in on airline tickets, their fraud prevention has been good and I'm happy with their customer service. My wife uses a Citi Card that will give cash back, but there's a maximum amount you can get back per year, so after a certain point it's useless to use it.
  14. 4 time champion and only in his mid-20's. Plus he's a really nice guy in person and not a total douche, like Block.
  15. He's a better driver than Block. 2009 Standings: http://rally-america.com/champ_standings2.php?Endo=1&Class=0&Champ=0&yr=2009 2008 Standings: http://rally-america.com/champ_standings2.php?Endo=1&Class=0&Champ=0&yr=2008 2007 Standings: http://rally-america.com/champ_standings2.php?Endo=1&Class=0&Champ=0&yr=2007 2006 Standings: http://rally-america.com/champ_standings2.php?Endo=1&Class=0&Champ=0&yr=2006
  16. It installs the same way it's oriented in the picture. The 'cone' goes down into the hole.
  17. Jamie, if you don't mind me asking, what's involved in building a 1700HP Gallardo? Do they pull the engine? Replace any of the rotating assembly? Any head work? Those are DI, right? Do they add port injection in addition to the stock fuel system? Is anything doe to the trans besides beefing up the hardware (does the e-gear hold up well)? Sorry for all the questions, but these cars impress the hell out of me. P.S. 18. Beautiful Country. I have never been there, but family member's have. Hopefully I can make it there one of these days.
  19. Supposedly Brittney just made $500k from product placement in her new video.
  20. I always book on Hotwire.com because they have even better deals. I just got a midsize car for $14.95/day for our trip to Florida.
  21. I love the sound of those things.
  22. DI sucks for aftermarket? There are people with bolt-ons putting over 400 HP to the wheels.
  23. Nice SWB JK. Looks like a Rubicon, but it doesn't have the sticker on the hood. The mud terrains aren't the best in the snow though... Wait until next nodel year and get another.
