    C6RS

Nope. They bodywork may be 'derived' from the race car and the engine is built by Katech, but the race car used a 7.0L (instead of the RS's 8.2L E85 fueled LS), coilover suspension (instead of the RS's air suspension), and probably a multitude of other differences.

You would guess wrong. The C6RS is Pratt & Miller's shot at making a completely badass streetcar based on the C6 chassis with aero derived from the race car. Oh, and the C6RS actually debuted before the ZR1.
  3. It's probably a bad wheel speed sensor. Get the codes checked.
  4. Dodge Journey with a 4 cylinder manual.

  6. Bankruptcy's are funny in a way....
  7. about a month, haha. That's all you'll get outta me.
  8. The theme's the same, the contours are different (which can be difficult to see through the camo). The interior has completely changed.
  9. The first good spy shots of the 2011 Charger have come out. Let's hear what you think. http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/spy-shots-2012-dodge-charger/
  10. Sno*Drift is not a WRC sanctioned event (it's Rally America), but since Block is under contract with Ford for WRC he will be running the Fiesta over here too.
  11. I looked back at the prices I paid and it looks like I must have been in the $13-15k range (after taxes and tips). It's the nickel and dime things that get ya, like chair covers, ceremony music, invitations, favors, etc. Some of these things are usually things guys don't care too much about, but girls will usually want. In the end, I agree that it made the ambiance nicer it it was worth the small (in proportion) amount we spent on them. We had a harpist at the ceremony, added the chair covers, had the invitations done locally (only had to make 25), and put the favors together ourselves. We actually made a lot of our own stuff in order to save money, but we got dinged 20-30% on flowers because we were married on Valentine's Day. Our photographer and DJ cost around the average and they were both awesome. Good luck on winning the wedding.
  12. IIRC, ours was in the $15-20k range inculding everything, and that's pretty much the norm if you have it at a nice location, nice flowers, reception at a nice place with catered food, DJ, Photographer, etc, etc. Sure you could do it for real cheap if you get married a the courthouse (or on a beach since it's public and there's no fee to use it), grill hamburgers in your backyard, and buy a sheet cake from Sam's Club for the recption, but that's not most people's vision. Almost all catering/reception halls are going to have a food/drink minimum for the room you're going to rent and that alone is going to put most people in the 5-10k range (depending on # of guests). EDIT: According to The Knot, the average cost of a wedding is now at $27,800. Admittedly, that does include numbers from people that spend $40k+, which raised the average a little. http://wedding.theknot.com/wedding-planning/wedding-budget/qa/what-does-the-average-wedding-cost.aspx
  13. 3800 S/C's (and S/C's converted to turbo) hold the fastest times.
  14. I hate how all the new Mazda's are smiling at me. They should just start selling Hello Kitty exhaust tips through the dealerships.

  16. Ehh, they just changed the lower front fascia a little. Doesn't ruin the car for me.
  17. You should be banned for thinking the 335i coupe is ugly. That car is beautiful.
  18. Indoor rental places have karts that range from 4 to 9 HP. A TaG 125cc is in the neighborhood of 27 HP. (last time I saw a dyno) And a KT100 is around 15 HP.
  19. http://www.freep.com/article/20100115/NEWS04/100115011/1320/Three-killed-in-wreck-after-fleeing-Roseville-police The first sentence...
  20. 125 TAG karts are not shifters and hae an on board starter (TAG= Touch and Go). No need to have someone with you at the track to start you up. I have a 2004 (IIRC) Tony Kart Venox chassis TAG kart that I only used at a practice event. After that my life got crazy and I haven't been able to race. Now the kart sits in my basement and I'e been thinking about selling it. It comes with everything (PRD Fireball engine, Aim Mychron 3 dash, brand new steering wheel, brand new seat, e-Stanz folding kart stand, some different sprockets, and I have a matching Tony Kart suit and rib vest that could go with it if the price is right). It probably needs a carb rebuild by now, a new clutch on the engine, some new brake pads, and new belts for the water pump. Probably looking for somewhere aroun $2500 for everything.
  21. The manual coupes are dry sump and hand assembled in Wixom, alongside the LS7 and LS9's. I actually like the looks of it, although I think the wheels could be nicer. It's replaces the Z51 package, but you get the Z06 body, brakes, dry sump, and different suspension tuning. Sounds like a deal to me, and the reiews have all said it's the best bang-for-the-buck out there.
  22. Stunning? It makes power for ~2500 RPM out of the almost 9000 RPM rev range. Makes a good drag car, but I wouldn't call the curves stunning and a marvel of engineering. I'm not dogging on the car though. It has great top end power and should be a fun drag car.
  23. That's no excuse and that wasn't the point. You seem fixated on this idea that the Regal is some prestigious name that comes from a long line of RWD performance car heritage, and that this car somehow spits in the face of that heritage. My point is that in at least the last 20 years the Regal has stood for nothing except an average FWD midsize sedan. Hell, aside from the GN and T-Type the Regal name has been pretty much average. There's no prestige to destroy, and if there was some aura of greatness around the name by 1987, it's been destroyed in 1988-2004. No need to get angry now. In fact if you look at it this way there should be no reason to be angry at all; The GN/T-type model took an average car and turned it into a performance car by creating the turbo 3.8L, which was an underdog of a motor. At that time, and for some time after, anything that was to be called a performance car NEEDED a V8. Instead they used a 'small' engine and added boost. Now GM has taken an average car and turned it into a performance car by installing a small, underdog of a motor and adding boost. It's the same formula except in the 80's V8's were all the rage and now high output V6's are. Although, even if you don't agree with the above, it shouldn't matter since it's called the Regal and not the Grand National. Plus, it's already sold as the Regal in China, so they're not changing the name for us. Wow, thanks for the compliment.
  24. Nobody seems to care that it's coming with a 4 cylinder except for you. The Regal has always been a small to midsize car and it needs to compete in that market. That means it has to be competitive with the Camry, Accord, Sonota, and Fusion/Milan. With this model it will most certainly do that, plus offer something none of them have right now -- a DI turbo 4 cylinder, which gets V6 power and I4 fuel economy. In the coming years you will most likely see ALL of their competitors get similar engine treatments (EcoBoost). For once GM is ahead of the curve. Now they have taken that normal, midsize sedan and made a performance car out of it, and it's a pretty darn good one at that! Unlike most of the recent Regal GS's. They used the name Regal GS on the ~'98 FWD car with a 3800 S/C in it...shouldn't you have a problem with that too? Didn't they also use the name "T-Type" on crappy cars in the late 80's / early 90's? You're living in the past and need to get over it. There is nothing so prestigious about the Regal GS name that this car can't live up to. They are not even using the Grand National, GNX, or T-type name, which is what I think you're hung up on.
  25. ? Flat torque curve does not = fail.
