  1. Colin could never get a deal. He drove some sportscar races, but no WRC rallies that I know of.
  2. I'm looking for a place that can print some T-shirts for our GRM $2005 team. Does anyone know a place around here that does it and has reasonable prices?

    NHL Lock Out

Exactly. It will be impossible for a team to compete for fans without a salary cap. In order to bring fans in for a large number of games per season the team needs to be competitive and to do that they need to buy players. Kind of like what the Mets, Yankees, and Red Sox are doing. If there is no salery cap there will be two or three teams with outrageous saleries while the rest of the league suffers to bring in fans. It needs to happen for the teams to stay afloat. They players need to accept it.
  4. It's a GREAT workout. You burn a lot of calories, work a lot of muscle groups, it's non-impact, increases cardio health, and builds strength. It can be hard to do continuously though. We always started the season with around 2 weeks of dry land strength and endurence training.
  5. If you're looking for cardio health (someone above asked) nothing beats swimming. I swam through high school and have never been in better shape then I was senior year. I could run as long as I wanted, do as many pushups as I wanted, and had VERY little body fat. After 4 years of not working out regularly (running maybe once or twice a month) I was measured at 12% body fat. I'm just getting back into it again, but it will take a while to get to where I was. Running is good too but puts more stress on your knees and doesn't work your upper body like swimming. Finding a cheap membership to a pool though is hard.

Have you ever been pulled over for doing a burnout at Hooters during the NMRA weekend? If not, someone stole your 5.0 for one night.
  7. How bout a turbo? tongue.gif
  8. New Z06 and Saturn Sky are sweet. I'll take one of each.
  9. Made for tv movie on ESPN about poker players.
  10. Beacuse OC was over before TILT started.
  11. Yeah, the Legacy GT auto sucked. I would go for the CTS-V.
  12. I'm going, and I'm staying n Windsor too...but we're all full. Sorry Berto.
  13. Nice cars. As someone else said, I'm not big into body kits, but I'm glad to see it's got some 'go' too. Welcome.
  14. PVC pipe?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
  15. At Detroit this week Saturn's new line up is being introduced. I actually like the Sky better then the Solstice. Even though it will ride softer, that's nothing coilovers and swaybars can't fix. Check out the interiors on these cars. IMPRESSIVE for a Saturn! http://www.thecarconnection.com/images/gallery/tmb/8836_image.jpg http://www.thecarconnection.com/images/gallery/tmb/8837_image.jpg http://www.thecarconnection.com/images/gallery/tmb/8838_image.jpg The two-seat Sky is likely to catch the most immediate attention. It’s based on the same Kappa “architecture” – GM-speak for chassis – as the sporty Pontiac Solstice roadster, which goes into production later this year. While Sky will add about $5,000 to the base Solstice, it’s expected to be a significantly more refined and powerful vehicle. The aggressive front end will be defined by the strong chrome crossbar grille with its integrated Saturn badge. With subtle tweaks, this will be the new face for all future Saturn products, according to General Motors design chief, Ed Welburn. Sky’s stance will be long, low and wide, though the car’s actual footprint isn’t all that much bigger than the MINI Cooper. Short overhangs, with the standard 18-inch wheels pushed to the corners should further enhance Sky’s sporty appearance. The top is a quick-action manual. A 2.4-liter Ecotec in-line four with variable valve timing will be the standard engine, for one thing, pumping out 170 hp. It will be mated to a short-throw five-speed manual transmission. A five-speed automatic will be optional. The roadster’s suspension should also exceed expectations, considering Sky’s price point. It’s a four-wheel independent short/long arm suspension, with coil-over Bilstein monotube shocks for improved wheel control and road isolation. The Sky will boast hydraulically assisted rack-and-pinion power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes with ABS. When Sky hits market, early in 2006, it will feature one of the more refined interiors to roll off a domestic assembly line, especially considering the price tag. The center console, for one thing, will trade the cheesy-looking black plastic found in most GM products for chrome and piano black. http://www.thecarconnection.com/images/gallery/tmb/8840_image.jpg http://www.thecarconnection.com/images/gallery/tmb/8839_image.jpg The Aura’s interior is designed to make you feel like you’re sitting in a sophisticated living room, said Welburn, something you’d expect to see in Architectural Digest . The show car features an unusual, crosshatch leather that has received such wide internal praise it’s now planned for production. The same Rustica leather is used for door inserts, the steering wheel and shift knob. Indirect ambient lighting also achieves an architectural feel in the concept vehicle. The Aura show car even features chrome sill plates, with the Saturn logo, and titanium knobs and buttons. Under the hood, Aura is powered by a 250-hp, 3.6-liter, DOHC V-6 paired with a six-speed automatic with manual shift mode. Safety features include ABS, traction and stability control, multi-stage front airbags, side airbags and head curtains. More in store The Sky and Aura are just two of the new products on tap for Saturn. A crossover utility vehicle, is reportedly being developed with the assistance of GM’s Japanese affiliate, Subaru. Another sedan is likely to bear the telltale fingerprints of Opel. Eventually, Saturn plans to compete in six or more product segments. That would still make it a niche nameplate, at least when compared with the likes of Chevrolet. But it’s a significant increase from its early days, when Saturn only had a subcompact to offer. Back in the say, to use the vernacular, Saturn did a lot to enhance GM’s image. The division’s recent decline has been an unmistakable blemish. Its early success using a customer-friendly, no-haggle sales strategy is far less unique today, and less compelling in a market saturated with solid product. 16. Azenis are not even cloe to drag radials. They are great autocross tires, but suck at the drag strip. The sidewall is so stiff that 60 foot times suffer greatly. That 92 Integra has a possibility of being quick. I'm suprised his injectors aren't bigger.

    Columbus racing

Couldn't have said it better Anthony. CR is for the automotive enthusiasts, not exaclty automotive topics. All of us have our respective boards that we go to for information about our cars. (Mustang, F-body, Honda, etc Forums) But on those type of boards the number of people local to you is usually small. CR is a place where people with different cars can get together, share the hobby and appreciate what each other has done to their rides. BS-ing is just a part of that.
  18. Not to mention everything Mosler has ever built.
  19. Sounds like a nice car. Welcome.

I'd go with a ZC or a B16 for ease of swap and the amount of aftermarket stuff for them.
  21. Water, Coffee and burnt toast are your friends.
  22. The car has not been released for same yet. My friends saw taht same one in the showroom and I can almost guarantee it's just a display model. Through the latest bit of testing they have made the front grill a hair bigger and side vents were added about a year ago. The one in the showroom is just a display model, and if it actually runs it may be an early prototype before a lot of revisions were made.
