  1. Yeah, Nick/supraguy: I would have come by to meet you, but we were in opposite run groups so it would have been hard. If you're out again there should be more then 2 groups so it won't be as hectec. Feel free to stop by my car if you see me out. BTW: I got down to a 39.311. The car still had a little left in it but I'm not the best driver yet. It seemed like anyone below 43's had a respectable time, especially if it was your first time out.
  2. Yeah I was there. What time did you come by? We were on lunch break from 12:45-1:15. I would have been either on grid/running the course or out working the course. My car was parked right by the entrance so it would be hard to miss. Although if you came by when I was working the course I would have been no where near my car. There were no Volvo's running the event. To clarify: I have no particular porblem with Volvo's, it's just his additude.
  3. Supraguy - nice job roasting the tires out there. I'm always a fan of gross displays of HP. It seemed like you also put down some decent times. Hope to see you out during the season. (If I end up running OVR)
  4. D'oh, owned by irony and a lack of proof reading. Although it's not in my sig. tongue.gif
  5. I myself talk shit to you because you act like you are the best driver ever when you really aren't that fast at all. I wish they would post PAX from previous season's on the internet so we could see how far down the list you are. Your ego is gigantic for no good reason. Also, your Volvo is not the sweetest thing ever. The minute you got it you start talking about how euro cars are so much better, like you're some seasoned connoisseur of european cars. You're not. The S40 is the Cavalier of Volvo's. It's not that sweet. You claim that "Racing's not what I do, it's who I am." If so, why would you buy a Volvo S40 automatic? That has to be one of the worst choices for a race car...behind a Cavalier, of course. It's also about time you passed 3rd grade and learned how to spell simple words. I understand in a quick reply post that things can be mispelled. But when it comes to something like your sig that will be seen over and over you really should take some time to spell check. Your old sig had 2 mispelled words out of nine. Now you're 1 for 3. Lastly, we are in America. I know you're trying to be Euro now so you post your dyno numbers in kW and Nm, but it is rather dumb. Plus I wouldn't put dyno numbers in a sig unless they were worth bragging about. Some people know how to convert kW/Nm to HP/Ft-lbs and obviously you are not one of them. For the numbers in your sig you should be putting out 189hp when you actually have 160.5. When trying to be Euro you could at least do it correctly. edit: And don't try to say that's your theoretical crank power because you didn't inflate your torque numbers. Either way, it's retarded. 6. haha, Berto and Scott were pretty trashed. I'm not suprised you guys are hurting.
  7. PICS (as you can see in pic ...81 it only has 9165 miles) http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/DSC02176.JPG http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/DSC02177.JPG http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/DSC02178.JPG http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/DSC02179.JPG http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/DSC02180.JPG http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/DSC02181.JPG The bike has a front fender, I saw no point in putting it back on before doing fork seals. It's painted black. Just to clarify: I have not started the bike since spring of 2004. It ran fine when I put it away, but it will need some maintenance. The bike's not perfect, but that's why I'm selling it so low. Plus I may be moving within 3 weeks so I need it gone. There are a lot of extra parts that come with it so I think 1500 is a pretty good deal. PM me if interested.
  8. how much? can you give me an address to map quest? PM me if you don't want to post it. Thanks.
  9. You're making more torque because the engine is rated for the power it made on an engine dyno and you're putting that power through a torque converter. Some of that can probably be attributed to the boost spike down low too. Let me get this straight: You turned the boost up 7 psi with a MBC and no other mods?? Get ready to pick your engine up off the freeway. Can you post the curves? p.s. Learn how to spell in your sig.
  10. As I PM'd you, and for anyone else wanting to see, I'll take some new pics and get post them tonight.
  11. That's for the offer, but I'm in Wooster right now and won't be in Columbus until around 7 tonight. I wouldn't be able to make it to the east side between 6 and 7.
  12. I have snow tires on my rims now and I need to get my autocross tires back on them Saturday. Can anyone reccommend a place that isn't expensive and won't scratch up my rims? I had this done in the fall at a Goodyear store by my house. They said it would be a one time fee and every other time they'll do it for free. Well I called for an appointment on Saturday and they're closing for 3 months starting Sat! D'OH! So I'm out of luck. Right now I have a place scheduled for $60 on Sat morning and was hoping someone could do it cheaper. I don't even need the wheels mounted, I can just bring the wheels and tires over.
  13. ok try this if you want to see the pics. Member Name: ColumbusRacing Password: ColumbusRacing The stock colored farings are on the bike now. I can take some new pics this weekend, or if somone wants to come over and look at it on SATURDAY PM me. (I won't be home most of the day Sunday, only in the evening)
  14. ok, it will take me a while since I'm on dial-up. I'll be back on cable tomorrow and I'll take some new pics and host them.
  15. Admins - I posted in the wrong section. Can you move this to the Corral. Thanks.
  16. I have $4200 invested in the bike and parts. It needs some work and I haven't ridden it in a year or so. I may be moving soon and I need it out of my garage. Come and get it. FIRST $1500OBO TAKES IT (Bike and all extra parts.) This is a 1994 ZX9R with a full Muzzy enhaust and a jet kit that I bought at the beginning of summer 2003. The bike needs some work and I was attempting to do it on my own. However, I do not have the time to complete this project. The previous owner dropped the bike, patched the faring and repainted the entire bike with a yellow spray can. I'll be honest, this paint job sucks. I did not like the way it looked so I started buying used bodywork with matching stock colors. (Pearl White, Purple and Green) I have a complete tail section with integrated turn signals, left faring, upper faring and gas tank all in good condition. I also have a tank bra that matchs the stock paint scheme. (Second Look I think). I also have a second set of wheels that I stripped and started sanding/polishing. At this point the wheels have been stripped and I started sanding them down. The buy price gets you: 94 ZX9R w/ yellow body work pictured with a Full Muzzy Exhaust and Jet Kit, Stock painted: Left Faring, Upper Faring, Tail Section, Gas Tank, Matching Second Look tank bra, Second set of wheels prepped for polishing, second set of rotors (used), and the Factory Service Manual and a color Hanes manual. I can take more pictures this weekend. If you want to see anything specific please PM me. Condition: When the previous owner dropped the bike he damaged the left faring and the upper faring (on the left side). He fixed these poorly but are complete. The handle bar took the brunt of the fall and the force cracked the top yoke of the triple tree. The crack is not growing so it's not in any immenent danger of breaking but I have a new/used triple clamp ready to go on. I was going to replace this when I did the fork seals, but I just don't have time. The fork seals need to be replaced. I have all the parts needed and they are included. The clutch is new. I just replaced it with a kevlar unit. Second gear will not engage properly. This is a bent shift fork (a common problem on Kawasaki's) and I have not had time to deal with this problem. There are no gears grinding, it just pops out of second. When this happened I just skip shifted from 1 to 3. The front tire is new (Bridgestone) and the rear needs to be replaced. (It's a Dunlop at the moment) Engine runs great, and sounds nice with the Muzzy! Pictures can be found at: http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288342613

  20. Did some "testing" tonight and the car is pretty quick. Had 4-5 cars on another Mazdaspeed by 60mph. I can't wait. I leave Sat with the trailor and spending the first part of the week in Daytona.
  21. Hey guys, I know I haven't updated the progress on here. 22. If you don't think racing is a sport then you've never seen the training drivers go through in order to make it through a race. It's as physically demanding as any other top level sport, if not more.
  23. Nooooooooooooo! What kind of problems have you heard of?

    bethel road

Yeah, I got nailed there too. They sit at the exit just before I-70. You can't see them until you come out from under an underpass, and by then it's too late.
