55?? No section of Bethel is 55. Maybe you were 'banged' on Henderson. Just so you know, they also sometimes sit in the church parking lot just east of Godown.

This is the only info I could find right now. I know I have a magazine that talks about the bore and stroke of an F1 engine because they were doing calculations to show the mean piston speed of a NASCAR engine and F1 engine were essentially the same, but I can't find it right now. BMW P84 Specifications... Crankshaft Steel Cylinder angle 90 degrees Cylinder head Aluminum Cylinders Four valves per cylinder Displacement 2.998 liter / 182.9 cu in Engine location Mid, longitudinally mounted Engine block Aluminum Engine management BMW Drive Rear wheel drive Fuel feed Fuel injection Gearbox Williams 7 Speed Semi-automatic Oil system Dry sump lubrication Type Naturally Aspirated V10 Valve drive Pneumatic Valvetrain 4 valves/cylinder, DOHC

The '04's also had a true dual exhaust. The '05's are dual with pipes coming out on each side of the bumper. (Traditional Pontiac style) Same engine. The only difference may be the accessory drive routing. They're even rated the same hp so it's probably the same ECU tune, unlike the F-body's which were always rated less.

Reading is your friend tongue.gif You can get 04 GTO's pretty cheap right now too. One guy wrote to Grassroots Motorsports saying he got one for $25k
-
No, I'm not saying he could make 560 hp with the 3037. I was saying he could make more then the 322 shown. I didn't make any claims as to what that turbo could do because I am not familiar with the specs, I just know it's bigger and capable of more power then a 16G.
-
My friend has a 2.3 Stroker Talon with an EVOIII 16G. At 20 PSI he has 322WHP and 370 lb-ft of torque. No nitrous, no standalone. That's about the limit of the 16G and a 3037S is bigger so you could make more power. He says it's a blast to drive on the street and he's mad he didn't build a stroker the first time. http://www.msprotege.com/members/Mallard/Pics/Dyno_Chart1.jpg /offtopic

Actually it's a single disc with a dual mass flywheel. Other then that, I agree with everything you say. Also, don't the '05 models get the LS2?

Koenigsegg CCR now officially the worlds fastest production car
Mallard replied to Mallard's topic in Passing Lane
There is. It's not a "CCR" it's a C8, or whatever a 'regular' Koenigsegg is called. -
The company that makes the 03 Cobra conversion (ATI) autocrosses that car pretty heavily around Detroit. Not the fastest car out there, but fun to watch.

I have no doubt EVO's are fast on the track. They have put up great numbers against stiff competition. But cheaper to maintain may be a little off. Wayne on Pulp Racing has been through 3 engines in 3000 miles and his front transfer case is going. He talked to another EVO racer that said he keeps 3 or 4 spare transfer cases in his house because he's already gone through five of them. I'm not saying this will happen to everyone, but if you plan on open tracking the car and driving it hard you need to be prepared for the worst. edit: Also there's this quote on Pulp Racing:

+1 One thing that pisses me off about Lodge Bar is I'm paying $3 to park, then they want a $5 cover and there are no drink specials. At least at Brothers and Gasworks I can get a $1.50 Long Island or Gin and Tonic or $1 Jagerbomb shot. (Even though sometimes they mix it extremely weak)
-
That's one thing that really pisses me off about Brothers. Using Brothers as an example there are things I think they have right: -Bar Layout (middle of the room, accessable from any side) -Beer carts spread out around the floor so you don't have to wait in line -Cute bar tenders and beer girls -Most of the time there's plenty of seating if you just want to chill -pool tables are away from the main foot traffic And they have a few things wrong: -The bathrooms always have long lines, which are always in the way of where people are walking -The dance floor could be bigger -The seating around the dancefloor is a nice idea, but doesn't work. It's always too crowded up there, but would work if there were more floor space. -darts are in the way when the crowd gets bigger Hope that helps. I only use Brothers as an example because it's probably the most 'club' type place I go to in Columbus. I usually just go to a bar. It also always helps to have some type of drink special.

Yeah, I just went back to the thread that started all this. He sounds like a giant douche. ...maybe a turd sandwich...

Car are cars. There's nothing magical about a BMW that makes it operate on different principals than all other cars. Nate's comments are correct, and if you have a problem with anything stated then offer up some facts to prove him wrong. You have 6 posts and already sound like a douche. As for the E36 M3, I've been told they have a high rate of rear sub-frame failures. One thing that should be checked before buying, and inspected regularly if tracking the car. http://www.bmw-forums.com/forum/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=16938

#1 You're telling Mowgli that he wishes he could afford a BMW, but his Caddy costs a lot more then a 3 series. It's a fucking 325, it's not that sweet. Ok, so you have an M3...now we're getting somewhere. You're approaching the base price of a CTS-V... #2 Someone that has a 02 M3 is talking about other people having shitty quality?? How many engines have people blown? That's funny, I never hear of LS1's spontaneously combusting. #3 He's at UCLA which explains his IP being from CA. Maybe he can race people when he's back on summer vacation mowing lawns. #4 Why ban him? This thread is in the flame room, not a common area. Banning someone for something said in the flame room is about the gayest thing I've ever heard. #5 Why are you so crazy for BMW's? Have you ever driven anything else? Do you read anything about racing? There are plenty of cars that beat BMW's at the track. What is your race team? Do you drive in actal races? Post some pics.

did you just change it so you have to register to view? I got to see the front page before it gave me that message. It looks pretty good, nice job Hoblick. You spelled stunt riders wrong in the text box at the top though tongue.gif

As far as bars, Cleveland has been named one of the top cities for single men due to the guy-girl ratio being heavily in our favor. People I work with always go to the flats and have a great time. No gambling though...unless you bet on which one of your buddies goes home with an ugly chick.

I agree with everthing Nitrousbird said but I think both cars have a good enthusiast base of real racers. Both cars handle great and both can be upgraded accordingly. Same goes for power mods. But with the EVO you'd better be ready to replace a front differential if you plan on on tracking the car. (from my reading on Pulp Racing it seems guys that actually track the car have multiple diffs around their house) With the EVO you'll be adored by ricers and enthusiats alike. Although the ricers could get annoying. The Porsche is classy, has a nicer interior, and will get more ass.

No production car times, but interesting. http://213.239.207.198/nuerburgring.de/269.html?&L=1 [ 08. March 2005, 12:18 AM: Message edited by: Mallard ]
