This thread's been so weak I'm going to start re-posting things from the link I posted...
-
Yeah, it's a pretty big difference. The ATS is almost identical in size to a 3-series, actually it even pretty close to a Cruze's external dimensions. The alpha platform will also underpin the next Camaro.
-
The CTS isn't going away, it's getting larger. I also wouldn't call this a replacement for the G8, as it's quite a bit smaller. The Chevy SS will take care of that market.
-
If it's based off the Alpha platform it won't be.
-
I worked on the Patriot/Compass/Caliber, Wranger, Nitro (obviously not the Liberty), the pre-2011 Grand Cherokee and had training from a German collegue who worked on the Cayenne. Also spend some time near you competitors test tracks and you'll start to recognize things in the hotel parking lots. I figure you're either interested in trailer sway control or hill decent control.
-
This happened to me today when I walked out of the doctor with my son, except the car next to me was at a worse angle. If there are tight parking spaces I will take great care to put my son in/out of his car seat without dinging your car, but if you park like a jackass and leave me no room I won't care what happens to your car.

Driven them all. I would get the Ram with a Hemi. The higher optioned models have a nicely trimmed interior and they ride pretty well. I only spent a small amount of time towing with them, but didn't have any problems.

I'm sure this is how people get naked pics stolen from their phones.

Pentastar launched in the 2011, but they 8-speed wasn't until 2012. They are nice cars, I like them a lot. I drove a Lacrosse and thought it was nice, but don't know anyone that has one. Buck gets high quality marks in JD Power though. My dad has a Toyota Avalon (the Buick of Toyota's) and it's pretty nice and has been reliable. -
True. The 60th Anniversary stuff is just an appearance package you can add to any Vette.
-
Whose ass would you buy shit from?
-
I was following a 60th Ann. vert the other day. They actually sewed the racing stripes in to the soft top too. Looked pretty sweet!

Nissan – Frontier (Used to be Conti (probably still is)) Jeep – Wrangler (Conti), Liberty (Bosch), Grand Cherokee (TRW), Compass (Conti), Pathfinder (did you mean Patriot? Conti) Ford – Explorer (4WD model) (Conti), Raptor (F150) (I think this was TRW) Mercedes Benz – M-Class (pretty sure this is TRW too - common with the Jeep, but could have changed) Porsche – Cayenne (was Conti...probably still is)

Impressive, but the best part was the graphic at the end.

It's always a difficult search when trying to find someone you can trust. I will say that every place is different, but I've heard more than a few stories of at-home daycare not giving kids enough attention. One girl at work even dropped by unannounced to her babysitter one day and found her son strapped in his car seat in front of the tv. The lady claimed she only had him like that for a few min so she could use the bathroom, or something. We're sending ours to a larger daycare and they have been great. There's a limit to the adult:child ratio, women cannot watch their own children if they work there (prevents favoritism), they have web came you can log into from anywhere and see the room, and they have a curriculum for every age group. I do wish it was cheaper though... I know every setup has its horror stories, but I wouldn't discount a large place vs. an at-home operation immediately. It's whatever you feel most comfortable with.

The race car (Grand Am?) is running a TRD supercharger kit too.

I clarified it before and I'll do it again now (for the last time). Jeeps are made in the US right now, used to be made in China for the local market, and used to be made (not sure if they still are) in Austria for Europe. In order to sell vehicles in China the government REQUIRES you enter a joint venture with a government owned company and produce the vehicles there. They used to ship "kits" to China and fulfill this requirement by just having assembly plants in the country. China caught on to this and now there are huge tarriffs for importation. The ONLY way you can sell a vehicle in China (without massive taxes) is to build it there. It's been this way for years, it's like this for every company. China is a very large, and fast growing market. It's just smart business to sell vehicles there, plus, with the tensions between them and Japan, American brands have had a huge spkie in sales.

And he'd double NASA's budget.

Yes. The government employs people is the war on drugs, and some of those jobs may be lost. However, the war on drugs is not a cash flow positive operation. It costs tax payers a lot of money each year and it does nite appear to be getting any better. If the government were to regulate the growth, supply, and sales of marijuana I'm sure they would add more jobs than would be lost, it would actually bring in tax dollars, and could hurt the cartels. I don't think CO is doing it correctly as it doesn't look like they care where the weed comes from. It doesn't really matter to me if a few government programs went away. Last I checked there were a couple trillion reasons to continue collecting tax revenue.
