This thread has been very useful- nice to put faces to the names... in fairness.
Here's the only pictures I had of myself on my computer, can't believe its been two years already, still look about the same I think. I added one of my car too-

My mustang when I decide to wash it.
Hey guys,
Have set of used 40 series 2 chambers from my mustang... sound sweet but too loud for me... anyone wnat to trade for a set of 50 series mufflers?
These are 2.5" offset inlet and outlet and that is what I need in trade.
Thanks!
Andrew
BTW they are more dirty than rusty with slight surface rust but very solid.
I used to work at acceleration on high street- they do great work and specialize in mercedes, audi, porsche, bmw, vw....

tell them "pool-boy" (Andrew George) sent you... it's been a while.
well, on second thought, they may charge you more... joking
That is what I thought but again I have never met this woman or seen the car in person... from what limited knowledge I have on classic cars, I was thinking the only more desireable car to restore would be the first gen corvette and that is probably debateable by die-hard ford guys... I told my wife to tell her I would put it here and then to try hemmings/craigslist/ebay... anyone know of any better places to suggest? She may raise her price once she sees what rusty POS's bring...
I was amazed what people wanted for 1st gen camaro "projects"... I would consider most of them to be just rust with camaro highlights, hence why I bought my fox instead.
Yeah I noticed that too, good catch-- I think the story goes that it was her father's car and he was quite enamored with it and in the process of finishing it, however he has since passed and the car was left to her...
A coworker of my wife asked me to help her list this car for sale... Maybe you or someone you know is looking for this prize???
This is all I have been told about the car.
The transmission has a leak.
As for the engine, valves and seals need tightened/replaced, It does run. Asking price is $15,000 OBO
Here are some pictures:

Price lowered to $9,795.00. The wife wants me to part it out but I am having a hard time starting the process... I am only advertising it locally now.
Damn why did my dad have to get a corvette and start this!
hah I appreciate the guys honesty... not many people would post pictures of their mistake like that... true enthusiast there- not a very smart one but true.
I think I sold this guy my stock headlights on eBay we met in hilliard to exchange them - no problems
If it is the same fellow he puts together salvage rsx's and is300s from ebay.
Good luck!- Car looks sharp.
I don't know how to check it but I have heard that belt failure is very common on them and to take them apart to change it is pretty difficult/expensive.
I would stick with vortech/paxton. You can get a used s-trim for 1500-2000 if you shop around and a novi 1000/sc-trim for 1000-1500
again if you shop around.
good luck!

Found this on cars.com....

^^ I hope this someone doesn't track their mod/maintenance spending/maintenance this carefully or they are bound to be disapointed... don't ask me how I know
t5 shift forks do not bend-
they get hairline cracks and then break.
Is there any freeplay in the clutch pedal? Or is there constant pressure all the way up?
How did you discover you can shift it without the clutch? BTW mine does that boiling water/ticking sound as well when I drive it for extended periods of time in fifth above 70 mph and my transmission was new when I got the car 3 years ago, I have never powershifted it, and everyone that gets in my car marvels about how good it is- so I would call it normal if its the same sound. Is yours a rhythmic tick or kind of random?
Andy,I will take a look at it- when are you available?
HAHA find me a mustang that "hasn't been driven hard" and I will find you a liar. Almost as good as the hundreds of guys that have a nitrous tank installed but its "never been hooked up". If they are that naive they deserve to have their asses handed to them by that "bone stock" 5.0 they raced "for pinks".
