  1. As long as you take off the blower belt, we are good
  2. Can I get an 1/8th mile head start? Since when do they let bikes run cars anyway?
  3. Worked fine when it came out. Looks to be in good shape as well. Sitting in my garage if you would like to come take a look.
  4. Anyone need a 28 spline carrier for an 8.8 with 3.27 gears? Axles are stockers from an 01 Bullit. 58,xxx on all parts. They are taking up space in my garage and I don't need them. Make an offer. How about $50 for the carrier, $50 for the gears, and $50 for the axles.
  5. I will believe that Linn and Anthony are putting cages in their cars when I see it!! If you guys are doing it, it's about damn time.
  6. More boost and fuel. A few ported pieces to go with what the car already has. Looking for an extra 25-30 wheel. I'd like to get the torque boxes welded as well. Nothing too crazy.
  7. How much do you want to spend?
  8. That guy should turn in his man card. Pussy.
  9. Mine has held up just fine. Plenty of track passes powershifting and no issues so far. Mine makes 100rwhp less than the Cobra in this thread, but it should do alright. Sounds like you got a bad one. Too many people with good things to say about them.
  10. I just wanted to make sure you weren't one of those people who assume things. I haven't been to a Bengals game, but I have been to a handful of Reds games. I've been to a few games in Cleveland as well. Both cities have their ups and downs, but Cleveland does feel a little worse in certain areas. I only went to the flats for my brother-in-laws bachelor party and it wasn't too bad that night. It's still a hole. I can't remember what the street is, but there is a street lined with bars not too far from the football stadium that isn't terrible. There is also the Winking Lizard on the corner, which is my go to spot after games. The area between where we stay and the baseball stadium in Cincy isn't too bad. There is a brewery that we usually hit before games and after one of them we went to McCormick and Schmicks, I think that it what it was called, and that was decent. We went for drinks and an appetizer and Tom Glavine was having dinner at the bar. That was rather cool, since I've been an Atlanta fan for 20 years. To sum it up for me, the area in Cincy is nicer but still not what I would consider great. The area in Cleveland lets you know that you are in an old industrial city. I don't mind it, but some would. To answer your last question, nothing about the Browns is great. Their improvement from last year is nice, but the Bengals falling off the wagon this year is terrible. When you go from the division winner who didn't lose a division game to the team that lost 10 straight, things aren't going well. Showing off the "talent" in Cincy just makes it that much worse. Basically you are saying that Cleveland has a better record right now with much less talent. Not a great point to make to show the Bengals are better.
  11. Why is that? Details would be nice.
  12. Bonestock? Haha. Also, redlight as usual I see
  13. That looks like a hell of a time. For those who haven't hiked anything like that, you would ask if he got laid. That can wait. Of course, hiking, drinking, then getting laid is a great way to do it Don't ask me how I know either.
  14. My first four cars were rear drive and the easiest one to drive was the one that was a stick. Tires make a huge difference, shocking I know, on how the car does in snow. Even though I wasn't in Cleveland, I spent some time driving my first mustang in Akron in the winter so I have a little bit of experience in the snow. My last few beaters have been fwd and the only thing that they do better is get moving from a stop. I don't have to wait at the bottom of an inlcine anymore to get started. Honestly, for a beater I prefer the fwd because of that. I'd drive either with the right tires. Yes, it's more fun in a rwd, but it's easier overall to drive the fwd.
  15. Even though I don't know you, sorry to hear about your car. Like everyone else said, most important thing is that you are alright. Nothing like bumper cars on 270.
  16. This is also the "Pussy" room, I mean romper room. It's all in good fun in here. Of course you can't type anything to upset anyone in here anymore or you will get banned, so I'm done.
  17. If you haven't taken an English class yet, do so very soon. One more thing, enjoy slapping your friends asses too.
  18. What size? If you are getting rid of them then, I'm sure someone would take them off of your hands and finish using them.
  19. Hold on a minute.....GM made more than one LS3?
  20. Hmmm....sounds like a communication break down to me. Not making excuses for anyone, but moving a shop may have had something to do with it. I talked with some of the guys over there about their ongoing move issues and that probably would explain this. Not saying that it's right, but I've personally never had issues with ordering through them. I'd suggest contacting Jeff again and trying to clear it up with him instead of putting this up in an attempt to get a response. Yes, your situation sucks. Would I be mad? Yes. Having said all of that, just try and call. If you hear nothing, take your business elsewhere. Good luck.
  21. It has been 11.25 and has gone 124.54. A few tweaks this winter and I'm hoping to see a 10 second pass next year. We will see.
  22. May know someone who would need these. I'll check.
  23. I work with people of all ages. I have a feeling that we may have a bias over there, because we are in the composite polymers division and Akron is very well known for it's polymer science I just don't think that any sports figure, old or young, should define the city they are from. Especially one that was built on many other things, the major one being the rubber industry. It also might have to do with the fact that I was born there and I still have family there I may have had family that was involved in some additive development for the rubber industry too. Just throwing that out there.
  24. Just as an aside, most of the people I work with are from anywhere but Ohio. I did an impromptu poll and the answer I got was that Akron was known as the rubber capitol. I get the basketball thing, but when every answer I got from people from all over the country was that Akron is known for being the rubber capitol I'd say that basketball fans may only know the city as that. Hell, the stupid announcer last night didn't know why they were chanting Akron hates you. His response was "It's because there is a rivalry between Akron and Cleveland". Can't say that I have ever heard that before. Carry on, I'm just being an ass and ruining a thread.
