I guess I'm in the minority here. There have been plenty of times that I have had issues with front wheel drive cars leaving water up to the starting line. Of course this isn't just a fwd issue. There was an idiot in a evo at the track last time I was there who would just drive through the water and up to the line. He wasn't too smart. He had an impressive 2.6 60' running me one time. I guess some people just don't know what the hell they are doing. There are also people in rwd cars who leave a nice trail of water up to the line as well. Just depends on if they have a clue on what to do or not.

How about a set of factory chrome 03 Cobra wheels?

It's definitely not like the days of Howie's hatch that actually was a street car, but still somewhat interesting.

I overheard someone saying that the '57 was back at Trails last night, not racing though, and that it had trapped 207 somewhere and then made the return trip back. I'd say it's proving that it can run on the street, but I'm sure the cooler air isn't hurting anyone either.

It's too bad that this isn't what it used to be. I'll still be there, but I miss the nights of KOC where the stands were packed and the big dogs actually came out. Should still be alright.

I was going to post this too. When I put a solid in my 03 Cobra, I put the carbon fiber clutch packs in when I built the rear end. Don't have any complaints so far.

Nice times. Looks like everyone is having issues with added power and aggressive launches killing the stock clutch. Atleast it's been identified as a weak link, I guess.

I guess i'm in that minority as well. I have no complaints either. I guess that's what happens when you find a woman who isn't a cheating whore and enjoys enough of the same things to make it interesting. I'd also go out on a limb and say that most of the guys who are happy with their wives/significant others are with someone who actually has half a brain as well. To the OP, if you aren't eating it and are complaining about getting head then you should think about dining at the Y I forget who it was on here, but someone once said that "if you eat it, she will do whatever you want her to do". Usually helps. One last thought, complaining about a woman on a car forum makes me laugh a little inside.

If I remember correctly, they won't run with a crack like those above. One of my friends cracked two or three before he finally went with a Boss block and I think it just shut off and didn't restart when it went.

A couple of us went to get a few passes in and it wasn't worth the time or money. I can't comment on the rest of it, since I didn't watch or participate in anything else.

Do you really think that I would post that having never been there? It was terrible. Maybe the drifting at the round track was fine, but the drag portion sucks. I don't know what was worse, the zero track prep or the moron kids running around. The staging lanes aren't meant for a gathering spot to block cars from getting to the front of the lanes.

I was getting everyone around me to stand up and get loud. If someone told me sit down on 3rd down defense I think my head would explode. That's ridiculous.

They are dumb. I went there and maybe 8 cars ended up stopping. I asked them about it and all of them were saying that the manager expected a good turnout of mustangs. They don't advertise it and no one shows up there anymore. It was very dissapointing.

Anyone going the the NMRA event this weekend? Starts tonight and goes through Sunday. Should be great weather for racing.
