  1. Are you kidding about Akron? You do realize it was/is known as the rubber capitol for a reason, right? Lebron didn't make Akron, he just happens to be from there.
  2. Voted and don't forget to spread the cigar love
  3. The feelings of "entitlement". If you can't afford something, then you shouldn't have it. Just because it's the american dream to have a house and play toys, doesn't mean that you are entitled to any of the previously mentioned things. You earn those things by hard work and desire to earn those things. No one is entitled to anything.
  4. It shouldn't be an issue. I usually don't say that when it comes to drag racing, but if it's setup properly 10's won't be an issue at all. You could put Mickey T drag radials on the factory wheels and still run a 10 with that setup.

    What Happened?

Did he get the only 3-valve Cobra of that year ?
  6. If your car doesn't run mid to low 10s with the auto, then someone didn't set it up correctly. The suspension will be where you get the lower 10s out of it, but 10.xx shouldn't be an issue at all.
  7. What does it run anyway? Let's not talk about gay ass roll racing either. Let's stir that pot too
  8. Does he still have the factory quadrant? What shifter? The only GM T-56 I drove was an 04 GTO that had the factory shifter and it was a spongy piece of garbage, but the first time in the car I was powershifting it and had no issues. The biggest issue I had with the Cobra was the stupid factory quadrant and the release mechanism on it. If you tried to adjust the cable and then hit a gear, it would release tension on the cable and wouldn't go into gear. That was "fixed" and I haven't had an issue since. Not the easiest shifting tranny, but I don't know what the problem is. If someone can't hit gears with it, maybe it's time to give up driving stick.
  9. RPM did a good job with mine. Honestly I never had an issue shifting when it was stock. It does seem to be a little easier now, but nothing too noticeable.
  10. Very true. Most don't even race, but they are on a website designed for those who enjoy racing. I "guess" you could also consider the car enthusiasts as well
  11. Holy shit. I didn't know that. Nice.
  12. The comments are funny. Of course with methanol you can hit better #'s on pump. Still getting it done.
  13. Funny thing is that there was a fox body with a turbo running a similar fuel setup that was just in one of the magazines within the last few months. The guy was an engineer of some kind and had done all of the work himself and the tuning as well. He also had two tanks and drove it 1000 miles to a true street event while getting somewhere around 30mpg on the highway on the way there.
  14. Quoted this one for a reason. You don't go to the track enough to go auto. If anything, the Magnum 6-spd is good enough for you. If you plan on buying a built short block, then go out and enjoy the damn thing first. If not, we can meet up and I'll drive you around in it

    Buckeyes...

Lucky? That was the play all along I think McGroin should rethink the tough guy stare at OSU's sideline now. I like the mentality, but that isn't the place to do it.
  16. I won't be there. I have some things to take care of. I'm sure there will be plenty of other willing chase cars
  17. Have to keep a motor from blowing after two passes.....
  18. Didn't GM make a two piece for the GTO? I agree with all of the above, but I'd venture to guess that it helped to limit vibration.
  19. I guess when you are from C-ville, you don't see that as racist. Hmm....
  20. So, how many people who have opinions on what is fast actually have a "fast street car"?
