  1. Oops. Looks like this would be one of the first mods for me if I ever get one. There are rumors out there that the one piece shafts make a little bit more rwhp. Are you planning on hitting the dyno to confirm or deny this? I'm curious if these claims are valid.
  2. That was an interesting DIY. I've personally never made a mold, but I have run many vacuum infusions at work. Kind of cool to see someone doing this at home. It's really cool to see that process done on a 48' boat hull.
  3. I didn't say that moron was innocent, just that there are a lot of reasons why I don't play around on the street anymore. One of them being that you have no idea what everyone else is doing. For all you know he was trying to save the day and stop you guys from running. People aren't the smartest these days. Of course, you guys aren't innocent in this either.

  6. As much as I want to agree with you on the car changing lanes, I can't. They are racing on a public road. That isn't the smartest thing to do. What you just saw is why it isn't the best decision. If you look again, the person that got over almost hit the car in the lane that they came from too. Person probably looked and thought he had time to get over, then they started to race and I'm sure the person didn't look again.

  10. Yes, 12 in a drag radial. It cut a better 60' by 0.08 going from 15 to 12 psi.

  12. It was around 60. I checked one of the DA websites and it listed it at 1018 for the 11.25 pass. Not the east coast, but not too bad either.
  13. Thanks. Just need to get into the 10s next year and I'll be happy. The tires really weren't that bad. Honestly it was about the same as running my drag radials at 12lbs. I've run some bias plies with worn out sidewalls and those are all over the place. These were good. I barely noticed the sway. It was there, but not too bad at all.
  14. Went from a JLT ram air to a JLT cold air. Took the meter from under the hood to in the fenderwell. I think maybe the headwind didn't help either. Friends were saying that it was giving a nice black cloud on shifts. Must have richened it up a little bit. I have some plans for it this winter. A few for extra power and a few preventative measures. Need to get the torque boxes done and possibly a cage. I'm thinking I should do both and I need to take out the interior to do either one, so maybe both get done. Who knows?
  15. Honestly, it felt fine. It's just that the 1/8th trap was up on all of the passes, two on drag radials, and down on the 1/4 trap. Last time out it was picking up 26-27.5 on the back half and yesterday it was picking up 23-25.
  16. They get all of the crap because stock they don't make any power. With the PI swap they do fine, but that's not stock. There are plenty of them with the swap that run alright. A friend of mine ran 12.48@109 with the PI swap and stage 1 cams. That was N/A. I think he went 11.38 with a 125 shot.
  17. I went to Kilkare today and actually had some good tires to run on. I borrowed some 27x11.5x15 Hoosiers and left the stock fronts on. The car is full interior with no weight reduction other than the solid axle swap. Rear end suspension is all stock parts from an '01 Bullit. Car went 11.25@123 with a 1.63 60' on the only pass they let me run with those tires. I had to run the nittos after that. I'm happy with the pass, but I think I may have lost some top end by switching something this week. Trap speed was slightly down when I ran on the drag radials and it seemed to have more of a richness cloud when hitting 3rd and 4th today, atleast that is what my friend told me. Looks like with the planned tweaks this winter I might be able to have a 10 second eaton car that isn't gutted By the way, anyone know of a quicker 03 Cobra eaton car in Ohio? I'm sure that there is one, but I was just curious.

  20. They still suck. Just like the Browns. Only difference is as a Browns fan I know that the Browns aren't that good and I don't talk shit about them being a super bowl team. Silly bengals fans. Not saying you ever said that, but I heard about them being a super bowl team and how they were going to go for the last 4 years. Funny, I don't remember them making it to the super bowl. Weird.

  22. Even though the Browns have been bad for what seems like forever, the fans have been there. This is not the same for Cincy. Never heard a word from Cincy fans until they had a good season recently and now we can't stop hearing from you guys. The Browns fans have said the same thing that you are saying now. The Bungals were on the first few games and the Browns weren't. Get over it. Cincy will be on a few more times this season anyway. They play Cleveland again and the Browns still have a bye week. Enjoy.
