  1. I'm waiting on some parts, or I'd be in. Not sure on everyone else. Maybe it's the thought of running when it might be 80 or hotter. Wouldn't want to waste any time and do that, would we ?
  2. I'd run the spec as well, because I am It's just that when I have seen the dual friction hold 100's of hard passes on a 450 wheel fox body that weighs around 3500 with driver, I have to give it some credit.
  3. Definitely no 03/04 Cobra clutch for you. Just won't work. As far as the centerforce being junk, I wouldn't say that. I'd say that the King Cobra disk is what the issue was for you. I have the spec 3 in my Cobra and it chatters a little, just need to bring it out a little higher than the stock clutch when taking off from a light. It holds like a champ right now, just need to actually follow the break in procedure.
  4. I see. I don't have the fronts. I don't why I assumed the backs either. Oh well.
  5. I might be able to talk my friend into selling you some. He has a spare rear end that has the calipers on it. I'm trying to get ahold of him now. I'll let you know.
  6. The disc is an 11" on the Cobra. Miller, What pressure plate is on the car? Just curious as to what clutch you fried. I really liked my dual friction centerforce and my friend ran one on his 450 wheel fox body for a couple of years with no issues. That car was driven hard and powershifted at the track who knows how many times. One of the easiest pedal effort clutches that I have driven. Of course if you don't have that pressure plate it may have a much different feel.
  7. The 03/04 Cobras did come with a 10-spline input shaft. Just another mistake on that car.
  8. Blackout stout is killer. One of my all time favorites. Almost all offerings from Stone Brewery are good. I think the Lizard is putting the Stone Russian Imperial Stout on tap today. Too bad I can't go. That is about as good, if not better than the blackout stout. My brother in law introduced me to La Fin du Monde, I think that is how it's spelled, and it's a nice little treat. All of the above are 9% + ABV as well and you wouldn't know it by the taste. Here's the La Fin http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/unibroue-la-fin-du-monde/1094/ Here's the Imperial Stout http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/stone-imperial-russian-stout/4315/
  9. Wow. Are they trying to check the limits of this motor in the first few weeks? I like it.
  10. I guess I'll be the one to tell you that 94-95 Cobra's don't have Cobra on the bumper cover. It just says Mustang. It may have been a real 94 or 95 Cobra. Either way, the guy sounds like a idiot. Carry on.
  11. Sorry, when I put the badges on I thought that was worth atleast 100 wheel. I guess not
  12. Very true. The '11 GT is the most over hyped car since the '10 Camaro. Atleast it has people interested in performance vehicles again and not a damn Prius.
  13. Yes it will work with your 99. I'll see if there are any on streetfire from some track visits.
  14. I know that the black one is a stick and the white an auto, but that white one had one hell of a shot of nitrous on it What else, other than fuel upgrades, was done to it? Kid driving the black car needs some seat time and a driving tutor, car makes good power.
  15. Here the beginning of the video with some other testinghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXusbh5hb8U&feature=email
  16. Well, it looks like some weight was out of the GTO "The car was ran at the track with simililar form compared to LS1Mellisa, All seats, skid plate, gas brace, tow brace were all removed." Also, the car was cutting 1.5x 60's which is way better than most of the GTO's running around with that power level. To run 11.8x's @112 you are either hooking really hard, or the car isn't full weight. It looks like both are the case here. Either way, that GTO is getting it done for the little bit that is on it. Just found another little bit of info. GTO owner estimated a 3400-3500 lb race weight for the car. My friends 04 was 39xx. There is your answer. A lot of weight reduction. The mustang posted is the first one that has a full exhaust, tune, and tires. I have a feeling that it will run better with time.
  17. Full exhaust and tuned 6-spd camaro running 11.8x's? I doubt it. It would need to be on a serious diet first.
  18. In the youtube video, is that the stock exhaust on the camaro? If so, it doesn't sound too great. I realize it's a V6, but it just doesn't sound that great.
  19. Very true, but what did the white one put down? It ran a tad better et wise. Of course you know how I feel about it
  20. Not to be a dick here, honestly for once I'm not, where did you get that info? I know it doesn't mean anything, but the handful I have seen have been in the high 15 to low 16 second area. I'm sure there are the "good drivers" out there getting better times, but I haven't seen any. I was impressed with one of the newer auto SS's running full exhaust and going 12.5x's. That was a good pass with that heavy ass thing. The best part about this whole new motor in the mustang is that it is sparking this old debate again. You have to love the rivalries. It's about time.
  21. Don't get your panties in a bunch over the overweight camaro not hanging. We all know it's a heavy car, but that's not my fault. Let's see... a lighter car making roughly the same power.....I wonder what is going to happen? I also highly doubt that the high 15, low 16 second V6 camaro would be in the picture at all.
  22. Not that it matters, but here is an auto '11 GT running against what I would call it's competition, if you can even call it that. Enjoy http://www.streetfire.net/video/2011-mustang-gt-drag-race_2004337.htm?ref=23680422-bd33-409c-b991-9870005d77bb
  23. How about 80's and E-85?
