  1. All I know is that Captain Ahab beat his ass.
  2. I was looking and it seems that I never had a real intro. I have a feeling that there weren't too many at that time anyway.
  3. Looks like someone else needs to post, since they are on the other side of that slip. Nothing like his best run ever being against you
  4. I know exactly what you are saying, but most don't think of it that way and don't understand what it is that they are saying when the say that spinning equals higher trap speed. Some people understand and others just make it seem like if you spin down the track you'll have a better trap speed.
  5. Maybe you should post some kind of pricing for these items. Like how much for a dozen eggs, or what cost per/lb of chicken.
  6. It's not about being burnt out on the idea, it's the fact that it isn't what it once was. When we used to meet up, it meant that we were going to go race. Not sit in a lot and talk about it all night. I'm not hating, just being realistic. The "scene" in Columbus sucks. We need to have people to keep meeting up and keep it alive, but realize that for some of us it isn't a possibility anymore. It's a little funny that you guys get so fired up about it. This is how it is. I'll keep my racing to the track as usual and you guys do your thing. It's the natural progression. People grow up and priorities change. Think of it as us passing the torch on to you guys.
  7. Don't worry. There are plenty of Cobras with much less invested running better ET's. The same can be said for a lot of different cars as far as the amount spent versus the ET. Since you know him, it's cool. It's not any fun unless you can mess with friends a little.
  8. My pre-workout meal is my lunch at work. Consists of a chicken breast, some brown rice, yogurt, and a vitamin pack. After workout is a shake with a couple scoops of protein powder and about 50g of maltodextrin. Then I eat a couple more meals before bed. Lack of sleep with the baby is making it a little harder to keep up in the gym, so I might have to change up the pre-workout meal and sleep some more.
  9. $20 says that the CR OG's have other things in life that are more important than hanging out in a parking lot until 2 in the morning now.
  10. Everytime this comes on the radio at work, I turn it off. I really don't like it. It seems like the chorus is the whole damn song. That is why different people have different tastes in things, but this song makes me want to stab my ears.
  11. I guess the really funny part is that when I talked to the guy in the Cobra he has a disability and one of his feet kind of hangs there. I guess that would make it a little harder to shift fast, but what the hell do I know. I'm not friends with the guy in the Cobra, just talked to him at one of the other track days and was asking why he wasn't shifting it harder. I don't know if you knew that or not, but I'd be willing to bet that with someone who can use both feet a little better you would see a nice improvement on the ET. Just a thought. One more thing after watching the video, that yellow cobra ran an 11.0x that day too. Had some friends at that rental and they were watching some of the other cars run, that is why I know that.
  12. Just buy the whole setup. The pedal effort will be much nicer with a different pressure plate, assuming you would be going with a centerforce plate as well.
  13. I think so. I ran them on my 93, but never got around to forced induction on it before I got rid of it
  14. Truth has never been such a short sentence....until now.
  15. I figured that you wouldn't take it too hard, but seriously get yourself back in and get it done. Where are you guys going?
  16. Real question is when are you going to get your ass back into that kind of training routine? Why waste the talent that you have for powerlifting? Quit being lazy and get back in the gym. That is all.
  17. I wouldn't claim Kilkare as having great track prep for their Thursday night Test and Tune. Two years ago it was good, but last year was terrible. New owners wouldn't prep the track much if any on Thursdays, but would prep it well for weekend events. I had better luck at Trails with track prep on Test and Tune nights. Trails still sucks at running the lanes and cleaning up in comparison to anywhere else that I have been. Having said all of that, I'll still hit trails for test and tune, because it's still fun to race the car.
  18. Ad did say that it was negotiable.

This is the issue today. You have people who feel entitled to this kind of gov't help and then get mad when people call them out on the fact that they should be able to provide for their kids themselves. What the hell did he expect posting that question on CR anyway? A pity party? Go get a job and quit being a pussy.

Just did a quick read on the other thread and must agree with Hal somewhat. The system isn't in place to help people who can't seem to work and go to school at the same time. I went to school and worked the whole time I was there. It sucked and I had 0 free time, but guess what that is life. They also make this stuff called birth control and if you don't want kids, then fucking use it.
  21. What are the specs on that 4-valve? Nice looking car too.
  22. I think my fist would fit in the intake port. That didn't sound good.
  23. Question is, is your car going to be there too? I heard that there may have been a rental car at one of the meets, but no Z
