If you really want the Jeep look at it again and put a mechanical gauge on it. Should be very easy to attach for testing. Might want to test engine compression as well just to see how it goes. Engine might just need a good seafoam treatment as well, I can't recommend seafoam enough. I use it nearly every oil change in all my vehicles and just ran a gallon through my army truck when I changed it's oil last week.

I don't know about newer Cherokees but the Tacoma can be driven well into the ground and will likely rust before it has any of the issues the Jeep's going to have. Tires brakes and oil is going to be all you need for another decade. Get a truck cap if you don't have one we hauled both our girls around in car seats from 2008 to 2016. Eventually we did trade the 2005 Tacoma in with 250k on it and underside rust and got $10,000.

I don't disagree, I'm nice it's my training it's my nature. I had the escalation person on the phone for 45 minutes and they wouldn't see my point of view and wouldn't budge in their position. If you got any suggestions how I be a big enough dick to get my way I'd appreciate it. I don't see how though. I'll get another insurance company as soon as this is over. I never had this trouble with Grange, but they aren't in South Carolina.

I'm starting to love those types of old cars. My Oldest daughter points out every caddy, I'd love to have time to get an old one like those and pimp it, would look great here in my ghetto anyway. Actually now that I'm typing there's a few around here parked in yards, lol.

I've been busy as hell and have talked to everyone. State Farm is being total shit heads, wreck was not my fault, they want me to pay deductible and pay for rental and all will get fixed. I talked extensively with them and even had it escalated to the "chairmans office" LOL and they assure me that they will not subrogate to get my deductible or rental costs and that I'll have to make separate claims to each to get that back. They also assure me that its not their job to handle this beyond just me making a claim, paying them, and they fix my car and they are not going to work in my interest to get me what I need from the at fault companies. OMG I'm not good at this shit, totally not a Karen and things always go south LOL.

I want that. I was visiting with my dad over the weekend and he still has his 1963 D4 caterpillar on our farm back in Ohio. I'd love to bring it down here, restore it and paint it up in army color and markings to match my truck and haul it around to shows, touch a trucks etc.

I think I'll stay far away until it's regulated at least in the sense that I can believe my money is safe. The stuff going on with Binance lately has me thankful I haven't deposited anything yet. In case anyone missed it, Binance seems to be having a liquidity problem and could possibly get accused of a pyramid scheme, people are having real issues withdrawing their money. I don't mind day trade market risk but I'm not putting money into anything that shady. Even the other seemingly safer ones are allowing shady stuff to go on that they are trying to claim is legal because of lack of letter of the law regulation even though in the US some of the practices are illegal. I'm also seeing a ton of people having complete lack of understanding how their gains are going to effect them at tax time and I can't wait for that debacle.

One thing I miss about Ohio, there's usually a car show going somewhere and then the big ones. Here there's basically none except for November and March when the locals consider the weather great. They seem to hate cool yet sunny and anything hotter than 70 and sunny so they pretty much hate the entire year. Being from Ohio confusing the hell out of them when your like, "I'm glad its not raining or wet from raining". I used to have great fun up a QS&L on the truck nights.

Every place was closing w when I left years ago and I'm betting it's only gotten worse. Ohio 4x4 Trail Riders is still around, I'd go to their meetings and join them. If they still do it their August novice ride should be coming up. It's always a good time. When I was still into it I always enjoyed helping run the event and watching people try wheeling and bringing kids.

My sister in law has bought a couple cars from carvana with no issues. They are sheep who don't know how to get what they want out of a dealer though so YMMV. I think your post sale support story sucks but I bet it wouldn't be easier at a dealer and likely impossible to get a refund. At least with a local dealer you could go burn the place down so there's that...

I'm an avid investor, swing trader in a company called Global Star, GSAT. They are probably overkill as they are commerical with satellites and terrestrial towers all over the world though they do provide sat phone and GPS tracking for livestock, shipping containers, construction assets, etc. Their phone plans aren't terrible to have, but usage costs are still higher.

Yeah I know the feeling, it's weird thinking in terms of 1 share and the fee to trade 5 is about $500 to get in and out so your already fighting up hill to profit. I'm gonna run some tests for a few weeks maybe months and might find that it's still not worst the risk/reward but he sold me on at least looking at it.

I hadn't given bitcoin much thought in the past but my brother in law has been very into it this year and family has been visiting this week so we've been watching the markets in my office and he showed me Kraken which actually has decent charts. I built a few spreadsheets to track stats and been showing him how to read the charts. It actually looks like making very fast scalps are possible buying 1-5 bitcoins at a time. Fees are huge and I'm still trying to get a handle on the transaction costs. Even the free ones aren't free but you don't notice if your holding long. The free ones like Robinhood actually have the highest costs because they make money on the spread and don't tell you directly, it's in the fine print lol. Also trying to figure out how to execute a short sale within the US as all the exchanges are centered around noobs buying for long positions. Looks like you can do it over seas on a few.

Historical or interesting spots within an hour from Columbus

I've been there many times, its a very good museum if your into war and planes and definitely worth it. One of the things I miss in Ohio. And 555 hell yeah, beautiful drive and the curves will give you something to do especially the last 10-20 miles down by the Ohio River. Growing up on that end it was fun in the winter, but dangerous once the snow was gone and all that was left was the salt, etc in March/April. -
That is a great view

Here's an example of how fragile Dogecoin is, today someone sold and it momentarily hit near 0.09. I'm actually surprised that it didn't trigger a bunch of stops which means the market makers knew it was coming and kept those orders on hold because they were being nice or nearly everyone in Doge are clueless noobs who don't know what stop loss orders are and are not using them to protect their gains.

Looks like your doing fine without him. I get a ton of jobs here in quick IT contract work simply because I show up and get the job done. I've never cancelled and never been late to anything, always early, finish ahead of schedule, and I run the business side properly. So many times I get stuff as "emergency" because the last guy didn't show up or got in over his head and just walked.

Pretty interesting article about the Federal Reserve investigating a US digital dollar. The raise some very good points good and bad. https://www.politico.com/news/2021/06/12/fed-remake-us-dollar-493548

I have a cheap sub 300 870 12ga. I personally think there's better guns, I don't like the feel of the controls namely the release for the chamber is kinda thin and sharp so it wears on my finger if I shoot a few hours. I also don't like the safety. I think I've seen mods to that stuff but I just haven't done it. Now this is coming from a Lefty so others might not mind. It's a solid gun and I did polish some rough finish and it operates very good. I've been around guns my whole life so I have no trouble hitting things with it but I can shoot about anything from rubber bands guns up lol.

Isn't it interesting how you posted that, I also saw it in the news and the fuckers been down since? Pretty much by the time we hear of it the run is over so the goal is the know about them before the runs ever start and good luck with that. Or another strategy which works is the "sell the news" which means put in short sale orders, hehe.

So your saying I could switch careers and be a "firework runner" there huge here in SC and I live on the boarder with NC where they are illegal so at every point a road crosses into SC there's a ton of roadside stands.

I guess I'm a hillbilly, but a shotgun is a shotgun. I'd get a Remington 870 or something by the other brands and see if you really want to go deeper. I've killed plenty with a 20ga if you really want to go that size, but a 12ga will give more power and range and you can always get or make reduced loads if the kick is to strong, but realistically unless your gonna be shooting all day long one or two kicks to the shoulder by someone who's mentally prepared for it is not gonna be an issue on hunting days. The dramatic, shit people do to their unsuspecting wives or others regarding kickback is just that. Not sure how the laws have changed over the years, but also realize you'll need a license and deer tag and the type of gun your allowed to hunt with will determine some needs. Rifles have to be straight walled cartridge(shell, bullet, whatever you want to call it) and at least .350in so it looks like the 350 legend would hunt deer. Also if you get a pump or the legend you can only have 3 bullets in the magazine and with shotguns I know they used to require a magazine plug which the game warden would check if you get stopped.

And last time I checked you could buy citizenship their for about $50k so I wasn't surprised to see that annoucement.

Here they have so many closed restaurants because of no cook or just one waiter so extremely slow. Kinda bad in tourist season lol.
