Sounds like it could have those old and basically outlawed Federal breakers. My house in westerville had them. They tripped all the time, but I guess the reason they were discontinued was that they wouldn't trip at all and would simple allow the wiring to start a fire. Once I found this out I was kinda surprised you could sell a house with those still in it. Mine even passed 2 FHA inspections:-)

I never thought about harming a 16yr old (for photo buffs)

Very nice lighting, especially for a home depot setup. Only technical problem would be to have a higher key to fill ratio which I found hard to do with anything except the settings on flashes. Those shots look great the way you got it though. The umbrellas really softened that light nicely. -
I play EVE Online and at the moment have way to much commited to it or I would. It sounds very interesting.

I was a contractor installing the sound/video system in the Lazarus store at the Polaris Mall.

That Nantahala is fun. Stupidly cold water sometimes though. I've never been on a guided tour yet, it costs to much and to me would be annoying. I know there are a few places around the east coast that do multi day trips. I've only done one back in my Boy Scout days. 6 day trip on the Muskingum River here in Ohio. That was a lot of fun, but of course no rapids just lots of rowing and hauling all our gear over the dams. The total was about 65 miles. If you just want an all day or I'm pretty sure they do 2 day trips and really like to enjoy the view I recommend the Cheat River in West Virginia. I've been on every white water river on the east coast and its very nice. Its not extreme white water by any means class 2 and 3, but the cheat narrows will get nasty if it rains (class 4-5).

Actually a simple shop lifting when my wifes sister was like 15-17 or something has caused her to miss lots of job opportunities. I've never understood how, but it still shows up and she's almost 40 now. Stupid west virginia is probably whats wrong.

Amazing how stupid people have all the luck. I don't suppose any of these retards ever heard of bank accounts paying interest and that the interest would be enough that they could sit on their asses and earn a middle class wage without working. Oh well back to the trailer park for her:-)

I figure you could forget your ID and go to the hospital. hehe works for illegals.

I was gonna try to go there, but I think I'll just stick to Senior Antonio's. -
Yeah pretty much good for outdoor landscapes and indoor group shots at weddings for me. On 35mm it does really well for portraits in a tight room too though.

I and many others would like to see Canon update their focusing systems on the pro bodies. I decided against going with the EF-S set and recently picked up a 16-35L II 2.8 and 70-200L 2.8. The 16-35 is especially impressive as it can take a 16mm shot with almost no barrel distortion even indoors.

You got the drive motor configuration backwards. Its in the camera on the Nikons and the lens itself in the canons. Nikons charging more for less because they can at the moment. That brings up a good point though. If you go with a D40 (might be other models too) you get stuck with a camera that can't use the pro lenses.
-
I'm gonna be the first to say that the D40 is getting old and that there are lots of newer better bodies. hehe even Nikons older pro bodies are much better. Nikons just milking sales of the D40 because it has been a nice camera. Also everyones right though the lens is much more important than the camera. Buy an expensive lens and don't believe everything you hear about the 18-200 nikon makes. Sure its got a lot of range, but for the price you could almost get 2 non Nikon lenses (sigma or tokina) and some of them are as good as canon and nikon pro lenses. In my photography business I shoot canon, but thats simply a choice either brands will get the job done. One last note, right now canon and nikon are putting out upgrades to lots of their bodies so If I were you I wouldn't buy one brand new. I'd get a used body and it should be cheap. If your set on a D40 it shouldn't be more than $200 or your getting ripped off.

If a website came up and scanned your HDD and said you have a virus it was just trying to sell you something or trick you into clicking on something to install a virus:-) Usually if I suspect I have a malware infection I just restore from a few days ago and all is fine.

Yeah great place and yes they have a buffet for lunch though the smell of their hot wings on the buffet makes me kinda sick. No clue why.

I've used it in my off road truck. It made the valves very quiet. I also used it from time to time in my 94 corolla just because it seemed like a good idea since it cleaned out the truck well.

Diode to keep the solar panel from draining the battery? (sorry didn't understand the question clearly.) If infact you do need to keep power from going back to the solar panel then thats easy just put the diode inline on the positive lead with the little stripe facing away from the solar panel.

when I wanna drop 12v to a very low amp 5v I usually just connect a resistor on the 12v line. Its probably not the best way, but its very effective as long as its just powering something very low amp like a cell phone.

Dems and Republicans need to work together to just "vote out" all officals and get a new set in place. Then force them to adopt term limits. National level politian should not be a career for sure. We've got 500million people here lets rotate a little.

Now days when something messes up I usually just take the system back a couple days via the built in system restore feature. Its a little easier than trying to think about the problem.

I haven't been on a board for probably 17 years. It was plenty fun in the school parking lot where I grew up. I wish we would have had a ramp or something around us. Its still fun to watch and sometimes the wife and I go to the one in westerville and watch kids on that one.

Any of you guys been to The Flow? I noticed it the other day while driving around for work and went to their website http://www.ridetheflow.com/ Looks pretty fun for someone who isn't a fat old copier tech:-)

People with too much fre time examine the health care bill...

I don't like the chain email and the way its manipulating the truth, but I also don't like the short sighted response made by the writer of that article. I'll for sure say that illegals will be covered for one reason only. No ones gonna let them sit outside the waiting room and die and no ones gonna be able to find and make them pay once they are all patched up. Now I'm all for letting people die if they can't pay (myself included), but thats just me and my realistic view of "the circle of life." -
Its quite possible. I'm sure there isn't enough data to confirm or deny sun spots effecting anything. All I do know as a life long student of astronomy is that there hasn't been much sun spot activity for about 10 years. This is completely normal since the sun seems to have cycles of about 11 years. Though the last probably 3-4 years there have been an abnormally low number of sun spots. At the moment there aren't any, per this photo of the sun. http://www.spaceweather.com/images2009/27jul09/midi512_blank.gif?PHPSESSID=iadi60mo2co1mstirm751oukt0 You can watch this information at http://www.spaceweather.com I myself haven't bothered pointing my scope at the sun for many years due to nothing to see. In 2011-2013 we'll have some major solar activity, ie flares, radiation storms, corona mass ejections. Its gonna be really exciting unless your an astronaut or one of the poor little communications satellites in orbit. Hehe lets hope none of the Mayan's calender predictions had anything to do with the sun or our atmosphere is gonna burn off.
