  1. F1/Carbon GMT concept watch designed by John Pszeniczny. I'm pretty sure it's not on the market yet, nor if it will ever be, and it's not gonna be cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
  2. I ran it through the CR dumbass translator and it spit this out: I just signed a sponsorship deal with Nike. Who say's raquetball is not a real sport. Nike makes Jumpropes. Does that mean we should recognize Jumprope as a sport?
  3. Holy lack of grammar skills! I hope your predictions are better than your English! I apologize in advance if English is your second language, but your grasp of proper verb and adjective tense is simply overwhelming. How about LIKED, UNDERSTOOD, OVERRATED, OVER-HYPED, and LOUD-MOUTHED? As a Steelers fan, I think I'd like to see the Jets win!
  4. Costco is your best bet. SAN IVs have been found for $280 @ Costcos in California.
  5. Sam's Club TJMaxx JCPenney Costco and more
  6. I have picked up several watches on watchgeeks: http://watchgeeks.net
  7. Sold my Swiss Legend Tungsten Orange Quartz Chrono, got this SL Tungsten Swiss Automatic Exhibition: http://img844.imageshack.us/img844/9456/dsc00887h.jpg http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/2833/dsc00906sf.jpg
  8. It's $59,000 http://www.mbandf.com/horological-machines/hm2/views/index.php http://www.askmen.com/fashion/watch/mbf-horological-machine.html
  9. I love this one but I am selling it because I want a different model of the same watch. They did not have automatics when I purchased it. Not a scratch on the band, case, or crystal. Read this. It applies to Swiss Legend as well as Invicta: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1305861#post1305861 Thanks! That's about the normal price for this watch ($299).
  10. Swiss Legend TUNGSTEN Chronograph Model T8010-66 Hard to find ORANGE face! Used but in excellent condition as Tungsten is really really hard to scratch! Has been sized but will add links back for larger wrists! $175 firm! Find another brand Tungsten swiss quartz chrono for under $500, I dare you! http://www.worldofwatches.com/segf/SWISSLEGENDT8010-66.html http://www.worldofwatches.com/images/L/SL-T8010-66.jpg http://www.trendtogo.com/Swiss-Legend-Tugnsten-T8010-66-Men-s-Watch-p/a5835w/Pics/P22871/xlarge.jpg Case Tungsten Dial Color Orange dial with silver tone hands and hour markers Bracelet Tungsten Clasp Type Push button deployment Subdials 60 second, 30 minute and 1/10 second silver subdials with red hands Calendar Date display at 4:00 Movement Swiss chronograph quartz Crystal Sapphire Water Resistant 10 ATM,100 meters,330 feet Case Diameter 45 mm Case Thickness 14 mm Bracelet Width 22 mm Bracelet Length 10 inches Series Tungsten Pro Style Chronograph Size Men's Crown Screw down Luminous Hands and hour markers Bezel Function Unidirectional Other Tachymeter inner bezel Material Tungsten
  11. The 6043 above IS a Subaqua Noma III. The only ones that are ACTUALLY over $1000 have the Swiss Valjoux movements. To answer your question on Swiss automatics, I'd have to go with Brietling, Omega, Hamilton, and maybe, after a few blows to the head, a Tag Heuer. My Brietling is a mechanical, the Rolex is an automatic.
  12. Invicta makes quality watches. The first thing to understand is that the stated MSRP is kind of a joke in the ShopNBC/QVC image. Some are Japanese made movements, some contain Swiss movements, and others are all Swiss made. What you need to know about Invicta is that you can use the ShopNBC site to research what you like, what movements are in the watches, and what they are ACTUALLY pricing them at. I guarantee they will have them on sale or clearance for less within a month. THEN, you look at sites like WorldofWatches and catch your model on sale for even less. I have these Invictas and couldn't be happier with them: Model 6043 Swiss made, Swiss ETA Quartz Movement, 500meters/3000ft water resistant for under $300 http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/public/Mw3g_q8H0LORdkhj24Wf_VdEVzKXvYyhst9H55r0-puN57NK5KFaHtrxxBFly9UwDNAidzz876ccwXhC_3eoEoBxKBjNTlkRLs0x971vOgpDIndEtNaCZt_LnNAIwGZH_5tL5_d9bbBhl8PEJddDC0MYStU Model 3044 Grand Diver Japanese Miyota automatic movement, 300meter/1000ft for under $200 http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/public/OY02vPSjnd2ybNxoUp_jerWxkKDB3UiEoHsVsM7WknVei4zEoX-14vFPHnEU0UKBWxu7taBPDIn6T6fY1Jj_grt_dbKJrtoPtqHyB8Z7-ZaPGdAC0mIohLT0Tz1SGaieeGXQYZ-Q_SjWFC-12LxAB2zGo__D3mchgcA
  13. Bwhahahahahahaha! Honestly, My wrist is not much bigger than his, but the 50mm watch that I have (Invicta Subaqua Noma Model 6043) has a 29mm strap. Same as my watch, Not my wrist: http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:yVk3ZIHnWAkm0M:http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o23/alientravler/I3-3.jpg&t=1 That Mossimo watch is a 50mm case with a 20mm strap and looks like a dinner plate on a rubber band. Add the small wrist and ...................
  14. Give us a price range, and whether you want a mechanical, quartz, or automatic movement.
  15. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_npmv=3&_trksid=m570&_nkw=jaragar&_sacat=See-All-Categories I picked up a couple of these Chinese autos, in different color combos, about 8 months ago. The straps are crap, but cool looking beater watches: http://i7.ebayimg.com/06/i/000/f9/43/e4bd_10.JPG http://i6.ebayimg.com/01/i/000/f9/43/cd3c_10.JPG http://i12.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/f9/43/c979_10.JPG
  16. Just found this going through my watch box. I'd forgotten I picked this up, new in box, at a thrift store for $2.99 Allenby Savanna (Made by Swiss Army) Swiss Quartz ETA movement 15 Jewels SS/18k (plated) http://usera.ImageCave.com/Rotarded/Allenby.JPG
  17. Sure Doc, meet me in the alley between 17th and 18th, just east of Cleveland Avenue at midnight tonight. I'd like to take a look at it! Nice timepiece! Too bad I bought the wife a watch for Christmas. Good luck with the sale.
  18. Ask for Josh Gutmore. He worked with me at Saturn for 9 years as a service writer. He was the only one I would work with concerning my old Audi. Good guy, he will take care of you. Tell him Mike Holland sent you.
  19. ^^^^THIS!^^^^ It should be fairly obvious, even for someone who doesn't know cars/suspensions. The hooks from a tow attempt should have "marked" the control arms on the upper and lower, forward edges (towards the front of the car) of the control arm. A lift would have "marked" only the bottom of the arms. If they do prove to be bent from underneath, and this has been a trusted mechanic/shop, I would simply point out the damage and ask them to make it right, in a civil manner. If they won't, get ugly.
  20. No, but I tote a Big Johnson: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Z5KD0665L._SL500_AA300_.jpg
