  1. Thanks guys. The photo doesnt really capture the mother of pearl face very well. It was a gift to myself or the 6 months of incredibly hard work I went through.
  2. Yup! I said I wouldn't, but it came yesterday and I be sporting it today: http://www.fototime.com/%7B5F278938-9F5F-4EA7-B265-AF0F873F5225%7D/origpict/f.jpg
  3. Half day today at work. Going casual with the Subaqua Swiss 50mm in gunmetal: http://www.belisi.com/productimages/V2_6043_shot1_350.jpg
  4. From the information that I have been able to find, this model was only in production for part of 1991. Measuring 44mm, it was a large watch by 1991 standards and even at a modest price of $125ish new, it didn't sell all that well. A majority of them were sold outside the US.
  5. After midnight, might as well put up today's selection. Poljot Blue Angels Calibre 3133 Mechanical with Exhibition case back: http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h236/nitram1265/DSC00134.jpg http://uhrforum.de/attachments/38315d1248901338-poljot-blue-angels-modded-version-img_4854.jpg
  6. Holy shit Doc! I've never seen that color combo. I've had this one since 99. Since then, I've only seen 2 for sale with yellow gold bezels and white faces, and 2 with the copper (one was a case only). 7T32 7A89

  9. My daily beater is an Invicta Grand Diver 3044 with a Miyota automatic movement. I have had it for 2 years now and it has surpassed my every expectation. I beat the hell out of watches at work and this watch only shows minor wear and has kept time flawlessly. The stainless steel it is made from is very high quality, and the crystal hasn't yet scratched. I would say it's the best watch I've ever seen for under $200. http://lh4.googleusercontent.com/public/DChLgNED7vM2C0aq-5f2dGO2zMK40d5fc-u-zC-w_BglrqDXbao0zqI7aP9qA3uyiGgaoQesBnujNlKU9ssPmFTEMgfo5dZckY9rfvI3VZP4JCPIDeKufDUUnJEwZIsBx77f2QdPv1hSkYnDRjm5sMsG4NjGt9Im7FSHx35cmg It's 47mm and they have it in quartz and automatic, in many colors, and also in chronograph.
  10. Agreed. This is why I own one. There is irony in this statement. Thank you for sharing your opinions.

  17. Sorry if this is off topic, but do you have the LSD? Those are highly sougt after by the FD crowd.
  18. I appreciate your input, but I've purchased these before and I really do not recommend them. The tards that work for me have broken or bent the screws on these types of openers within a week.
  19. Go to a nice Wine shop. They will have nice stuff and show you how they work. What I use, but takes a little skill: http://www.beveragefactory.com/wine/wineopener/waiter/handy_3194_bamboo_corkscrew.html Easy to use: http://www.beveragefactory.com/wine/wineopeners/wing/3410.shtml
