i wana run more than 9lbs but its already faster than i planned on. im getting the carb back thurs. and ill try to add in some timing. ill crank it up to 15lbs sooner or later. right now im enjoying tunning with only 9lbs.
glad to hear you are going to norwalk. i wana see it run too. i hope you get you 8 sec pass. if that brake works well with your type of suspension it wont take much to get there. you already have the mph

next for me is add timing new converter and probly 4.11s. then 8s on e85 and a carb with 9lbs of boost god willin
hey does anyone have a tight 3500 at least converter with balooning plates. made for some good power. i want to try a tighter converter before super chevy. i should be getting the carb back in the next few days. i want to try a tight converter and back to my 4.56 then maybe a 4.11
yes 5" in and out. its a innovative gtb t88 turbo. and 9lbs of boost for now. im playing with 5 so i can run at tracks and try to not go too fast. then ill also have enough fuel now for up to 20lbs. but with my 8.50 cert i think 20 will be too much and ill be too fast for that.
before the first run at the track i thought 15 lbs felt too strong so i put 9lb spring in thinking 10.50s and 130s. boy was i wrong. lol
if the new converter and added timing dont get me back to 1.20s 60 ft im going to change the gear again to a 4.11
i guess thats why its called Test & Tune. then spend all your money to try another part.lol
as soon as i get the cage work done. im finishing up the body for some new paint. i think 10 years on the current paint is long enough. im thinking of changing the color to another purple. or a green with yellow pearl. for the e85 part of the 8s combo.lol
and gearhead its got a radiator. and a 8" fan just in case it gets hot.
waiting on new converter. should pull a lot harder and hopefully with more timing i can get back into the 1.20s 60 ft. if i can go 1.25 or 1.27 again. as long as i pull arround 150mph should be 8s.
and its actually really quiet. for the size of the exh and how long it is.
well ive sent the carb back for some more fuel. still going to be on 9lbs of boost but i will be adding in most of the 14 deg of timing im pulling out. should help to build more boost on the launch and better my 60ft. also as a byproduct of the bfpv in the front my cruise circut will be leaner and evan more driveable. so far with 4.56 1.27 60 ft leaving on 4 lbs 5.92 1/8th shutting down 100 ft before 1/8th.
with 3.90s can hit tire enough 1.44 60 ft 6.00 1/8th and only run at 9lbs and still loose converter 9.52 at 142. its comming together fast.
im talking to S&W race cars about a cromemolly cage for it. and ill get to use my tig now. lol. will only have 8.50s cert so i can still get in it. lol.

ive owned a dsm thats what they do Leak. leak oil leak tranny fluid from all the exploded diffs, leak boost. they are like HD's. every time at the track is $100.00 to fix.
i bet i blew my tranny 15 times. from wheel hop.
