  1. M&P is popular choice, I love my XDM9. Got a good deal used at NASR, and I'm pretty sure they've got an XD45 Tactical (5") still for a good price if you want to step up in terms of caliber.
  2. You need a SATA 150 hard drive which is indeed one of the 2.5". probably $30-50 for decent amount of storage
  3. If you don't like the way someone is doing business, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Its a free country.
  4. rare but hopefully becoming less so; the internet has created a lot of transparency and informed consumers so its a waste of time to try to use tricks.
  5. QFT when someone comes in to drive a car, I always try to go with them. Usually I tell them immediately "turn left out of the dealership, there's a great dead end that'll let you get hard on the brakes and gas to make sure there's nothing wrong with either"
  6. Sigma trigger is super heavy and you won't shoot it nearly as often as you would the M&P. Get the M&P.
  7. He said he sold it at the end of the 2nd thread; where he also says he got a 2011 STi. He goes to CSCC, anyone know an Eddie Powell there?
  8. people are threatened when they sense someone who can do their job better than they can. self preservation instinct > obligation to perform at highest level possible. its really too bad that people think shady tactics and abusing power is a substitute for hard work.

  10. I'm pretty sure I've seen those watches for half of what Amazon has them for on 1saleaday.com/watch
  11. the bad ones deserve to have their poor performance pointed out, just as the excellent ones deserve to be commended for acts like this.
  12. electronic kiosks = no dealing with mouthbreathers until its time to put luggage on the scale
  13. +rep I was about to drop way more money on dress shirts/ties
  14. other than kathy bates, thats the last thing i want to see the top down on.
  15. I liked clarkson's explaination; "I paid for the car, don't tell me I can't shift when I want to"
  16. profit is not a dirty word. he's not buying cars that aren't out there for anyone to buy. if you think his price is too high, its your right to not pay it and instead spend a lot of time and build a lot of rapport on forums. if the people who buy his cars are happy and don't feel cheated since they didn;t go out and do the hunting themselves, then who cares.
  17. all this talk about exploiting my buttons is making me frisky
  18. I wasn't too impressed by Eddie Merlot's, but it could be that I had a poor relationship with the manager at the time (he was a dick) and that subconsciously influenced my opinion. I'm surprised about your experience with Mitchell's Polaris. I can say with certainty that it's better now, as they get all the same produce as Ruth's Chris (their new owners). I will say their service suffers when they are entertaining corporate groups because they flat out don't give a shit about walk-in customers compared to a corp group.
  19. Portuguese. You read a post about someone having dinner with his dad, and immediately assumed it was a date. What the fuck kind of family do you have? edit: flan = Iberian dessert. I don't know if that'll clear things up for you or if the xenophobia will be too much to handle, but either way I think you have some offs to fuck elsewhere.
  20. If you're ever looking for a place to eat/take someone, try Rossi's Bar & Kitchen in the Short North. I dined there with my dad last night and it was amazing. I had lobster ravioli and truffled grits and I'm still full. And they have Jeni's Salty Caramel ice cream which tastes exactly like my grandmother's flan.
