  1. These cars are a fucking blast. Anyone buying this one should contact me, I know someone who has one sitting in their driveway with 2 engines and a giant turbo for it.
  2. Rotarded is the one voice of reason in this thread. Get your beans from Crimson Cup. Or any fair trade place. But Crimson Cup is good. CHARbucks should be shoved out of the market for consistently burning their beans. I don't know about you guys but every cup of coffee I have ever had from there has tasted like pure carbon. I'll give a shout out to an old friend, Erich Gellner. Any of you east side guys need to check out Java's Cyber Espresso Bar and help an independent small business out. He gets all Crimson Cup coffee and will order you any kind of bean you want. I used to work there so he hooks me up whenever I'm back in town. @Rotarded, Java's uses Armando's Blend in every cup of coffee except the monthly selection. Anyways back on point; I have three current favorite beans. I just brewed cups of the first two so I could drink as I ponder and write, the third I haven't gotten in a long time: Kenya AA: AA denotes this is the largest bean exported from Kenya, but this bean is also very dark and very acidic. Very strong body, some prefer it black but I take mine with just a bit of half and half to smooth it out. This is considered to be one of the wine-y Kenyan beans. New Guinea Plantation A: A bit lighter than the Kenya AA, this is what I usually drink. Its great black, with cream or skim (how I usually make mine...caffe au lait style), and I don't drink it with sugar but I'm told its excellent. Kauai Estate: This is the hardcore shit. Very expensive. Like the last time I got it was when I worked at Java's so I got it at cost and it was $10 a pound. I think getting it online its around $15 a pound. Either way, if you ever come across this stuff you have to get it; I think it's better than Jamaican Blue Mountain and I'd give you a review of the taste but I haven't had it in something like 4 years so I don't really remember. Either way its fucking great coffee.
  3. Hmmmm cupholders. Those sure are conducive to catching criminals. anyways, aren't those backseats specifically designed so they're "comfortable" enough when you're riding with handcuffs on?
  4. What's a CLK63 to you? A brick on wheels?
  5. Anyone here fans of the cyberpunk/dystopia genre? I totally got into it last year after reading Neuromancer for a class. Anywho, if you're also a gamer there's wonderful news. This game is being released via Steam for free on a Source platform (so if you have CS:S or HL2 you're set). I'll let the website speak, but I'm fucking pumped for this game. http://www.dystopia-game.com/newplayerguide/
  6. well put. American cars have this obsession with "bells and whistles" to use the old saying, and still haven't figured out how to cut costs in the right places while still building a decently high quality machine.
  7. its gonna cost them $34k to make and they're gonna sell it for $35k. after it gets the same reaction as the Marauder in terms of sales, they'll go begging to Congress.
  8. apparently its only natural when you post from a sidekick instead of a computer
  9. http://holladaddy.com/ Fucking with people via myspace. EDIT: NWS for language and content.

  11. I liked the niners when I was conscious enough to understand the awesomeness of steve young
  12. interesting. must've been painful for you going that slowly in your vette at the end of that straight
  13. Really? I got mine up to 110.... still doesn't compare to the RSX though, I easily had that up to 125 at the end of that straight edit: but i got one of them with a torsion bar upgrade which really seemed to help at the top of the keyhole. @ boosted98gt no never with something I built or owned myself. if beating a lap time of a friend and multiple time patron of Mid-Ohio who owned his own Camaro SS is somehow less of an accomplishment because I didn't own the car I did it in, then I have yet to feel any pangs of regret. also, I don't think not owning this car made it any less fun to drive http://gregbrinner.com/images/svb.jpg
  14. now whos the one on drugs. fake edit: michael phelps
  15. When I did it at Mid-Ohio I used one of the school cars (Acura RSX Type-S, TSX A-Spec). When at Lime Rock, used Formula Dodge open wheel racers, Auto-X in Viper SRT-10, 200ft skidpad in a Dakota with slicks on the rear. edit: oh and my fastest lap at Mid-Ohio is 1:54.6 in a TSX
  16. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=3880848 BAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA discuss. ok off to work.
  17. just to irk you. I like tracks more than 1/4 mile long, so I compiled my track time at Mid Ohio and Lime Rock, though the latter isn't much longer than 1320. Not a lot of track time, mind you, but more than most people on this board can say they've spent on a road course.
  18. never had anything fast enough for a track day, though I used to own this http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn69/caxide/front.jpg had to sell it since there was no way it could survive any facet of Boston. EDIT: notice the CA plates. Thing drove from CA to OH then from OH to MA without a single hiccup.
  19. if i get a new job i'd totally pay for someone to figure that out. but by man code i would only to pay in "owing you one" and a case of cold beer.
  20. is there any way to create a filter so every time 04srturbo posts all it shows up to me as is "LIBBALLA LIBBALALA TIMMAHHH!!!! TIM TIM TIMMAH!"?
