While technology gets old quickly, I think newer cars last a lot longer and it's harder to appreciate that quality on the up-front sticker shock. Think about what 1995 cars looked like in 2005. Now think about what 2005 cars look like today. I think it's pretty clear that 10-year-old cars are MUCH higher quality today than they were 10 years ago (if that comparison makes any sense). I think in 2025 we'll be looking at 2015 MY cars that, while they may not have up-to-date tech, will be in nearly perfect driving condition if they're reasonably well maintained.

It's your responsibility as an informed voter to know the fucking difference, not to say "SO WHAT IT'S NOT THAT BIG A DEAL WE'LL LET FUTURE GENERATIONS FIGURE THAT CLUSTERFUCK OUT". There are many good reasons to vote yes on 3. There are about 10x more good reasons to vote no. If you have to ask if it's really that big a deal, consider also asking yourself "why, when making a law would be much simpler and easier to pass, would they spend so much time, money, and effort to instead push it through as a constitutional amendment? what do they stand to gain from the difference? should I maybe take a step back to analyze this issue more than 'weed should be legal'?"

They're currently looking for an angel investor to clear the tax burden and take over the franchises. Whether that's someone local or HQ isn't clear. HQ probably doesn't like it when their franchises close down and have giant signs basically saying "OUR BUSINESS SUCKS SO MUCH WE CAN'T PAY OUR BILLS".
