  1. :megusta: Mallard, any source on a live stream of the event? I can't find anything and almost all the websites I'm seeing are in fucking Italian and google translate is useless.
  2. Railroad tracks aren't really a great indicator here. As ^^^ he said, west of 71 and you're mostly golden. Clinton TWP, Clintonville, Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights are the best neighborhoods in that general area. There's some decent areas in Old North Columbus but they're harder to find. Just texted you a couple pics of that house near me and PMed you the contact info for the realtors. EDIT: FWIW I live pretty close to the tracks and I never hear anything. I'm on Kenny right around the corner from the place I sent you and it's a nice area.
  3. That's North Linden. I wouldn't fuck with either Linden neighborhood. I saw a place for rent near me when I was walking the dog last night. PMing you address and contact info from the realtor sign out front.
  4. My uncle has a crew cab Frontier with a pop up camper in the bed that he drives all over NorCal and absolutely loves it. They are not as well regarded as Tacomas so they tend to sell for less, though I've heard there are some maintenance things you want to nip in the bud like water pump and timing chain? Not 100% sure on those but a buddy of mine just bought an Xterra, he was originally looking for Frontiers and made mention of similar maint. items.
  5. Well said. Cody, check out University View (NOT University Village), I live on the edge of that neighborhood. As others have offered I'd be happy to show you around the area. P.S. if you don't require animal friendliness in your housing needs, your options open up IMMENSELY and your rent will cost way less.
  6. Grandview/Upper Arlington. I'm currently in Clinton TWP paying less than your budget for a small Cape Cod with f/r yards and a 1 car garage. 2br/1ba. Very little/no crime, many places are walkable, you commute against traffic every day, and my neighbors are an equal split of late 20somethings and late 70somethings. Feel free to PM/text me.
  7. Bunch of English professors in here, huh? Anyone talking about towing should re-read OP, there's nothing mentioned about towing. Just a desire to put targets in the bed. This is more of a "I want something I don't care that much about because I'm tired of beating on my nice cars" not "I want the Teeeeeeruk you've always dreamed of!". OP, if the only knocks on the 04-07 Titan are "underpowered" and "lose value quickly as a result" then it sounds like the perfect truck for you. Your truck needs are so different than the majority of truck buyers you should look for something with the worst tow rating, shortest bed, and least interest among the general truck using population. Clearly, though, the answer to OP's problem is a Subaru BRAT/Baja.
  8. They're asking $6k over original MSRP for it and it's used :lolguy::lolguy::lolguy: EDIT: and that exhaust is actually the track package exhaust, basically wide open except for the cat. Pogea Racing makes a slightly different version already with more attractive tips. The upcoming 4C Spider will have an optional Akrapovic 2x Center tip design that IMO looks amazing.
  9. I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords
  10. Spider should arrive ~ October. I can't say how the 4C acts on track because I've only driven it a short distance, but I'll see if I can put you in touch with one of my clients who owns one. He races in the Continantal Sportscar Challenge series and he had his Alfa on track at Mid-Ohio earlier this month. Nothing but positive things to say about it. I think the best reviews of the car are the ones that look at it alone. It doesn't compare well to much of the competition because it's so unlike the competition. It's not about being a weekend warrior, or a status symbol. It's a pure driver's car, and it WILL EXPOSE YOUR FLAWS. It's as bare as a modern street/track car can get, and they wanted to make a supercar-style vehicle available at a lower price point. Manual steering, 6-speed paddle shift w/launch control, MR layout, 2400lbs, 236hp, handmade CF monocoque. It's like a heavier, more powerful turbo Elise with Italian flair. It's a bit bigger so you don't feel as shoehorned into it, thus the weight gain.
  11. Based on historical rumors/discussions, I would expect the Giulia to start around $37k. No data/insider info to back that up though.
  12. Sent you a stupid offer, all i can afford for now. maybe some birthday money will roll in and I can bump it.
  13. Alfa already is stateside...I've sold 2 Alfa Romeo 4Cs and currently waiting on a 3rd to get on a boat in Italy. The 4C is super low production though (~2500 worldwide at this point I believe) but the Giulia will be the mass market launch.
  14. Merge with VAG, fire all VW designers (ok maybe keep the Audi guys around to beat whoever designed the 500L into submission), fire all FCA quality assurance testers, push diesel like fucking mad, take over the automotive world.
  15. Ferrari-derived V6 :megusta::masturboy: http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/scoop/2015-alfa-romeo-giulia-new-ferrari-derived-v6-engine-revealed
  16. Jaysus if I hadn't just proposed and paid for an entire vacation I'd be all over that gold 48-20. GLWS, may hit you up if I find some cash.
  17. I used to ref basketball in college. I can tell you with absolute certainty there is no real rhyme or reason for their calls. Things go one way some times, then swing back the other way. There is ABSOLUTELY some emotion involved in the reffing. Some guys know how to talk to refs, and some guys don't. I was always more likely to respond to "hey ref I know you couldn't see it but #25 is elbowing me under the basket, can you watch for it next time?" than "FUCKIN #25 IS ELBOWING ME REF WTF GAME ARE YOU WATCHING???" You better believe if someone spoke to me the first way, I would have my eyes locked on #25 next time down the court, whereas the 2nd way I'd probably let #25 karate chop his throat before I called him for anything.
  18. That's awesome. Now I want to drive halfway across town to patronize a good business
  19. That's a perfect example. There was a place in Boston I loved, they had 120 taps and 99% of the time I'd just get the Sam Adams. Never had an issue because they never changed that tap. One time, though, I got a Sam Summer and they'd just had I think the Blackberry Witbier on tap. That Sam Summer tasted like nasty blackberry funk. Ever since then I've been super careful about what beers I order from where. Wouldn't want to order an imperial stout from an uncleaned tap that'd just had Grapefruit Sculpin in it
  20. Legit question, do they clean their tap lines as they rotate? I've found this to be a common problem for restaurants that constantly rotate beers, they don't properly clean the lines and shit gets naaaaasty. For instance I know 101 Beer Kitchen cleans their shit, there's been a few times I couldn't get what I wanted cuz they were cleaning.
  21. I think you'll have a hard time talking a seller like that down. Anyone who put those mods on that recently and clearly thinks the retail value of them adds to the value of the car is probably mentally married to it still. Maybe they're listing it to appease a significant other, maybe they just have unrealistic expectations. Honestly, in Denver I gotta believe that car is worth even less considering the fact that you can probably only drive that car 4-5 months per year there.
