    Alum

You guys ever play on Erie? I'm there every weekend and can't get myself to go out down here now.
  2. In some cases I'm sure. I had a 25' boat 2 years ago with a I/O and a 4.3 v6 and it did MUCH better on fuel then my current boat and was only 10mph or so slower. A normal weekend for me is 25-30 gallons, but we also run for miles to get on fish normally in rough water.
  3. Boats arent all bad if you do it right. I buy and sell them and havent lost money yet, plus I use them all summer. I have a 25' walk around with twin outboards on Erie this year. I like outboards, but for a cruiser you dont see them to often and they arent great on fuel. I've had less issues and costs with outboards however.
  4. I'd guess with any of those used boats a full season of using it would trump the purchase price. Unless it only goes out a few times.
  5. Nice boat! You need to bring it up to Erie and have some real fun!
  6. I have a pa supercomp c4, ucc converter, and flex plate for sale if you still need them. I'd come off them fairly cheap. The crossmember will need modified or moved back a bit, driveshaft might be a bit to short. Headers should clear just fine.
  7. American Plastics on 5th ave in Grandview.
  8. 24'+ walk around with twin outboards would be my goal (and what I have currently). We use deck chairs and it is comfortable, had 6 out this weekend. My boat doesn't have rear seats just a open deck and 2 seats under the enclosure, just like the one in the link.
  9. My season began 2 months ago! I'll be on Erie.

I have not, car is still apart from the winter. Maybe I'll find time in the next few weeks!
  11. If Paul is busy his brother Bill has a shop behind M&M head service and is very good. He has always done my paint and body work.
  12. It's a long shutdown, but it sure isnt a fun one!
  13. Danaher is a mixed bag, I'd wager to say 80% of it is made overseas and all of it is made from imported material. They do sneaky stuff, like machine sockets in china and then ship them here to stamp sizes and chrome them. US made from imported material... The LOL was because for $80 the odds of it all being US made is very very slim.
  14. I'll be at erie tomorrow and alum sunday if erie is to rough (which it looks like it will be 4'-6', no thanks)

    Doggie Poo

Ive used pet butler for a few years. I think its around $100 a month for 3 Goldens, picked up weekly. They do a good job, I mow on the day they come (for obvious reasons) and he doesnt miss much if any.
  16. I've had horrible luck. Skunked the last 2 weekends at erie, but at least got the boat in for the season. Havent had much better luck at alum.
  17. Transmission is in limp mode, it will have a code, all the flashing light tells you is that its in limp mode and codes are present. You can disconnect the battery and it should go away until it sets the code again.
  18. I have a few old MT 275/60 DR's you can have but you gotta drive to Delaware to get them. They probably have 20 passes left in them as a bonus.

    Rates are DOWN!

I left you a message on your VM. Not sure if it would make sense to do or not, but I'm at 5% from 5 years ago or so.
  20. Some employees of another dealership took them to court in 99 or 00, there was a break in and they said they didnt cover the boxes. Judge ruled that the dealership was responsible for the boxes and everything in them because they are required for the job. The dealership had to replace everything.
  21. There is case law that says the dealership has to cover the tools. I've dealt with it a few times.
