It's a 1993 (I think). my dealership is "ready to sell", you could probably own it for approx $13,000 plus tax & tags. It is an automatic everything is factory stock, she's real clean. The article that started this thread, is unfortunately "right on" in my opinion. To make matters worse GM & Ford stock is tanking! You can't manufacture boring, unpleasant to the eye models over & over & over / then throw phony rebates of $4k - $6k to the public & think = Ohhhh they'll buy it! I watched the news regarding the maniac that killed the one women & shot a dozen vehicles on southern 270 beltway last year. Now the jury is hung, his atty claims he didn't know what he was doing, etc etc I say F/U you rotten bastard. My wife drives a 2001 Olds Aurora with the V-8 in it. She bought it new, it's probably one of the best cars offered by Olds in the last 6 yrs or so. Even though they were going out of b/z - she wanted THAT car! Only issues we've had were electrical (no worries though) cause we bought extended warranty. Like someone said earlier on here = happy wife happy household Bring her to my dealership (Nissan North), we'll put her in a Maxima, Altima, whatever she wants!

Interesting you'd post this. Though I haven't been to Mid Ohio in years, I'm going to this event! The Corvette Club I belong to is attending along with a few other Corvette Clubs that Sunday. They say this race event is absolutely cool!!! I think the Vette clubs get some special place to park & display the cars? something like that - I don't care, just want to see this event with Vettes, Porsches, etc

Used to be a man could pay Hurst top dollar, in return he got his $$$'s worth. Guess those days are over too. I bought a Hurst Short Throw shifter for my Z06, have driven car approx 4,000 miles with this shifter. Mostly in 2nd, when you give it some fuel it just starts this annoying "clicking" sound???? My brother took shifter out, cleaned everything including metal shavings? Then re-packed in grease, it's no longer making that awful noise / but I don't know how long it will last either. I don't beat on it (alot) & I don't miss shifts. It is a piece of shit though!! & it really pisses me off

This thread is hilarious???? I too about (20 yrs ago) went thru the same scenario = go inside tell 'em I'm paying cash, don't know how much it will take? After pumping, back inside, wait in line AGAIN, finally complete transaction, & off I go. Whole process took like 25 minutes! F that! I got gas card, have used forever, bill comes monthly & ya pay the balance (no interest). Now getting gas takes like 5 min (as long as there NOT out of premium) = now that really pisses me off, especially when they put the plastic bags over the pump handles!!
