Vette club I belong to (Street Elite) held their annual Vette show today at Polaris Steak & Lube. Don't know if anyone on here went? * Lots of gorgeous Corvettes, their was a '56, some '60's to 62's, a split window, they went from there all the way to the C 6's. * It was one hot friggin day too!!! I did enjoy myself though, left before the best in show was announced as I'd taken all I could of the heat -

We've got alot of opinions here, no surprise though "Religion" is a controversial subject to say the least. My 2 cents: I was raised catholic, I haven't been a good one for years. To me it's like everything / "show me the money". I believe someone made this earth & when I die, whoever comes to see me will have to admit, I was a good person, raised my children & paid my taxes, & lived a good life - period. I think regardless of faith, churches should merely erect a "Drive - thru" like McDonalds. Every Sunday you drive thru & pay your weekly monies ie $10, $20, $50 whatever. You could use envelopes already imprinted with your name, address etc. The church would have their money, you'd be saved, & we could lessen issues like this thread, perhaps even stall the world disrupted peace too? Hell religion has been a part of history & conflict forever. (Or at least one of mans excuses) - Sorry but thats my 2 cents-

Sorry Ant, now you know why Rick & Marc are soo messed up, they get it naturally!!! ha ha I'm going to Jeff Wyler's dealership rite off of rt 68 headed north toward Urbana, Oh. They have = Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Hyundai, & Kia's. I plan on getting on 1st name basis (quickly) with their "Vette" tech. They sell a bus load of cars every month, therefore that kind of volume equates to more $$$$ for Kohones. With Marc still in college, Rick just plain makes me nuttier, I've got to do it. I'm very excited though because my best friend will be my boss. We believe since we're both old cranky italians, the fit will be fine & NOT in any way impair our friendship (it'll probably get better). I've resigned from Nissan North effective this Thursday 7/21. I'm going to a large multi franchise point dealership in Springfield, Oh. Drive isn't horrible & as is always the case = it's ALL ABOUT MONEY! For those of you who bought vehicles there (especially from me) & anyone about ready to consider going there to look at their inventory: * it's an exceptionally GOOD dealership * they're ethical & will take very good care of you * the Used car Sales Mgr (Jason) is on this board & would be delighted to help anyone. Thats the scoop & ( NO, I'm not moving to Springfield)!!!!!!!

I too hope T.J. is ok. Doesn't matter what you drive, RICE whatever. But if you're driving like a maniac with no control or cares about who you might injure / then they need to have Reynoldsburg's "FINEST" deal with them. It doesn't really matter how you cut it, the new Z06 in either form is a beast period / end of story. Someone earlier posted only difference in C5 Z06 was = * red brake calipers * rear brake air vents They forgot the LS 6 putting out 405 hp too with an aggressive suspension system. (I know because I own one). Corvette WILL NOT be mundane & anyone that thinks they should make serious changes to the models so you can distinguish between a C6, Z06, then Blue Devil / they're really not in the know are they????

Yep he'd be foolish to junk the small block thats in it. If all the #'s match, that car put together right could be worth serious $$$$$ like $30k +. If they're in a pinch financially, I agree with earlier posts, put something in it so it runs, as finances get better - rebuild original motor -
