They hardly check anything! They look at vin # & ensure it matches title, they also check that the owner is the owner. Thats about it. They don't check tire wear or any safety stuff. Pretty stupid really, oh & they charge like $15 -

This subject gets posted at least annually? I just had to say = I worked all day Wednesday on the "vette". Cleaned her inside & out. Then with caution, tenacity, & outright sweat! I re - NXT'd her! Car looks like it just came out of dealership showroom! Now if I just had $$$$ like Dr Z06, I could be fast too?????

Only problem I have with the M's is their STUPID tranny (if you get the automatic)! My neighbor has one, it's awful & she'll be trading it, it only has 13,000 miles. BMW should be ashamed & WORSE they're still selling this junk tranny. M's must have manual - period

Welcome Tigress. Weather permitting you can usually meet CR folks on Friday & Saturday nites. Monitor the "meetings & events" area, that will tell you where everyone is? Typically we meet around 10:00 or 10:30, Hooters, Krogers, Jegs, all in Reynoldsburg - graemlins/thumb.gif

My two cents? 1) You bought it used from a Chevrolet store / Duh???? 2) I wouldn't take my Volvo (if I owned one) to any dealership other than a VOLVO store, ie Byers or Segna 3) as for Chevy's, "Maxton rules". They've been #1 in their zone, which encompasses ALL of Ohio chevy dlrs (thats alot of dlrs) 4) oh yeah, so you bought it from their USED lot? not the same as the main store on rt 161, but sounds like you still need a real Volvo Tech. If you bought a warranty? It should be good at ANY licensed repair facility. If you didn't buy a warranty? Shame on you -

Went to Lemans at MidOhio today. I parked in their Corvette Corral parking area, while walking around & smellin those great racing fuels, burning brakes, & burning rubber - under a tent in a Corvette display, there she was! C6 red Z06, parked beside it was the chassis of a Z06 enabling you to view what was inside. Yes very expensive, but damn beautiful too! graemlins/thumb.gif

The real truth is = * Marion raceway sucks, NO TRACTION, period * Because I was disappointed in Marion & I wanted to see what I could do / I was at Norwalk with the COFBA group two weeks ago. * on street tires, no appreciable mods, I ran a 12.63 @ 114 mph, 60 ft was 2.066 * I also "kringed" that day as I watched a yellow Z06 with big "stickies" on the back, let out as last yellow lite was goin out & then nothing? Rear end went I guess???? As an ol man, I was pleased with both my times & my lil electron blue Vette. Shit now I need to start thinking about new tires?
