I actually saw one of these cars the other day at the corner of Houk Rd. and St Rt 36 in Delaware. It had the front emblem blacked out, among other things. The very first thing I thought when I saw it was that it was a Hyundai or some Korean automaker's new Accord competitor. It's strange that Honda is fighting back by designing a car that looks just like a Korean competitor.

I love reading/watching about these old cars. Le Mans is certainly one of my favorite movies. If you wanna read more about cars related to this, check out the new Car and Driver. Good photos, better than mine lol. That spot next to the pedestrian bridge at the exit of the Esses was about the best spot I found for pictures. And the Kuhmo girls, mmmm. About as hot as the Toyo girls this morning for the Speed World Challenge race. Unfortunately my camera batteries died before they came around.

Best race weekend I've ever experienced. The ALMS race was so much more interesting than the IRL race, minus the flipping Marco (that makes two races I've been to this year where Marco Andretti flipped haha). The best part was hanging around the paddock Friday and Saturday nights. We stood and watched for about an hour as teams packed there shit up. I almost got knocked over by Jorg Burgmeister as he booked it for a cart cause he must have been running late. It is sad that the DBR9's didn't come back this year as they were great competition for the Corvettes (both in performance and looks). The Viper was a last minute effort by the Woodhouse Performance team to see what they could do in GT2. I thought they would have tried for GT1 but I guess they really wouldn't have had a chance against the Vettes. I'm suprised at how bad they did but they might have had some problems I didn't hear about. Can't wait for next year's event, for sure.

I'm getting pretty excited about this coming weekend. 3 days of racing, sun (hopefully) and whatever else we find to do up there. If anyone else is camping up there all weekend and are looking for some people to hang out/party with at night, my roommate and I are game.

I read the story about this. That guys is an American, from somewhere in California. His brother was also gored by the same bull with its other horn..in the butt haha.

Seems like a bad place for the engine but it's small and possibly balanced out with the rearend being at the very back of the car. I'd still take it for a drive, but i like the Atom better.

I'll look into attending the one in early August. I have no experience at it and no gear, so I'll have a big hill to climb.

I'm hoping to find a torrent or something that I can download the entire damn race. In Europe they have Motors TV which I believe covered the entire 24 hours while here in the US Speed covered like 16 hours of the race. Maybe someone on here has better knowledge of torrent sites and can point me to one that might have this. Or at least a site that'll stream it or something. I can't get enough of Le Mans racing.

They're gonna have all 4 classes running, yes. Usually they're followed by smaller series like Speed World Challenge and Formula BMW. The IRL race will probably be on Sunday, also.

Hell yeah they are. July 20-23 with the IRL. I'm excited to see a major open wheel series back at Mid-Ohio. I'll be camping there again with some friends. Hopefully one of them won't try to fight Jesse this time lol.

I'm moving in about a week and need to get rid of these wheels and tires so I don't have to worry about moving them, too. The wheels are Motegi FF5's in decent shape, certainly not brand new but have no major structural defects. Mostly just some chips and scrapes from rocks, potholes, etc. The tires are prety new Bridgestone Potenza 205/40/17's with about 3 months of use on them. I picked them up brand new and drove on them for only a few months before I took them off for winter. Pictures below can help show the condition of the wheels and tires. I'm asking $600 bucks for the set of 4 wheels and 4 tires. I'm hoping that the buyer will be able to come pick them up so I don't have to mess with shipping. Florida weather in January FTW. Just got back from the Rolex 24 and it was gorgeous except for the rain Saturday night.
