momentum and confidence are powerful things.......they definitely have a long road ahead but so did the Cav's. Nothing is written in stone. I'll be pulling for them either way. I'm not even a die hard jackets fan because I grew up watching the Blues long before there was a team here. I now have 2 teams to pull for.

I looked today for an explanation but never found one. The only thing I can think is it's because he was completely out of the crease and the contact was incidental. I kinda thought it would've been called interference myself but him being so far out he's kinda on his own at that point.

The pens are pretty good so down 3 games to them doesn't really surprise me a ton. The jackets really fell off a cliff towards the end of the season and just haven't been able to get their mojo back. Hockey is funny though and it could all change today and they could win 4 straight. I don't really see that happening but it's always a possibility in hockey. Look at the Caps down to nashville....who picked that to happen? This post season in general has been pretty kick ass so far with some good games.....all 4 yesterday went to OT. I'm glad hockey doesn't stop the games...it's what makes the sport what it is. If they did start stopping them then it would end up just like soccer as soon as guys knew they could take advantage of it. Football is the same way. When a defense starts getting gassed some linemen goes down because his shoe is untied or he's just hungry.

looks like those front seats need a shave. Riding those in NC during the summer with no AC??? I can't imagine the levels of ball sweat and ass juices that have soaked into those. haha
-
the only one I'd have half a shot at being able to make it to is game 6. I'm not sure if game 6 will be needed if they don't get their heads out of their ass. They did finish the season on an up note but it's been a rough couple weeks for them.

that sounds valvetrain related to me....bent pushrod or collapsed lifter is my official guess. Been wrong many times before though. Just what it sounds like to me.

I can't speak for him so his opinion is his own. I will say that for me if you're born with a twig and berries you're a guy. I don't even have a problem with people that can't identify except if you use the medical condition and genetic reasoning then we need to also admit that they're not normal so don't expect everyone else to act like it's normal because it's not. I don't go out of my way to push my beliefs on anyone else so I don't appreciate them pushing theirs onto me. If being trans is fine with you then have at it.....just don't keep telling me I should accept it because I never will and I won't keep telling you how abnormal you are.
-
I can only listen to so much of that from either side but I agree with a lot of what he's saying.....particularly on the transgender issue. I've always wondered why my opinion is "wrong" because I don't agree with it. At the end of the day I don't care what someone does in their own house.....just don't pipe it into my house and tell me it's ok.

Call Lancaster sales out here in Lancaster. They have a decent cast iron spread but I couldn't tell you what brand. I'll look next time I'm in there.
-
those have to be aftermarket....the oem are 3x that much and then some. Personally I wouldn't have a problem with the aftermarket mirrors. I've bought a few aftermarket for a couple different vehicles since there's some mailboxes my wife evidently has it out for and they've always fit and looked fine.
-
pass......I'm not an idiot and realized the posted regular price was bullshit.
-
I will....I just have to decide if I'm getting one for me or a couple for the kids and some for all of us. So basically I need to check with my wife haha are those cheaper combos decent? Like the pink lady fishoflage one? Like to get that for my daughter. She has a set up but who doesn't need 2?
-
that's cool of you to do. I wouldn't mind grabbing a couple combo packages.

I'm actually in Lancaster and we have a place out here although I've never been to it. Is there a need for an under gravel filter with the cannister style? My last tank I ran an under gravel filter and a power filter hanging off the back. That set up seemed to work just fine but like I say....that's been 20 years ago. I do like the idea of having a cleaner looking tank but not completely necessary. Trying to find a balance between function and price because I pulled the executive order on this one so the less bitching I can get out of my wife the better. She said "no...we don't have room for it" and I said " I'm loading it in the truck when she goes back inside" plus I got the votes by getting the kids on board. That being said I don't want to cheap out on everything.....I just want something that works and can teach the kids about fish tanks. Example.....I'd rather spend $60 on an under gravel plus power filter versus $150-$200 on a canister unless the canister is really that much better because I know from experience the other set up works. Just not sure what I'd be missing in a canister style. Overall I'm really looking forward to getting back into it. Been a long time. I spent my early teen years up through my 20's living in the fish store for the most part. I have some good memories of messing with my tanks.

going fake plants for now....just want something easy right now to start the kids out on. In the past I had both live and fake plants. As far as fish I'll cross that bridge when we get to it. I have some favorites from back in the day. I got into african cichlids with the last tank I had 20 years ago and those were probably some of the prettiest I had. Before that I had tanks with just about any kind of fish you could imagine. Was a fan of oscars and firemouths at one time too. Had a tank with piranha at one time too.....wasn't a fan of the mess they made. Like I say.....I've had a bunch of different tanks. I'll probably let the kids pick the fish out but will steer them towards certain species so they don't mix them.

Picked up a 55 gallon tank and stand for free from a buddy over the weekend. It came with some other stuff but I'm pitching it all and starting with new because it's old and been in storage forever. Just going to save myself some possible headaches. Going to do a fresh water tank mainly for the kids because as a kid I really enjoyed my tanks and I'm sure they will too. I'll let them do all the set up and things like that as that's where most of the fun is. 20+ years ago I was into fish tanks but it's been about that long since I've had a tank. I'm sure things have changed. Any things I should be aware of? Under gravel filter still the way to go or should I use something like a cannister filter or hang on power filter? I want to keep it budget friendly because frankly I don't need the latest and greatest but if something is definitely worth the extra money I'm not opposed to that either. I'm assuming heaters have pretty much stayed the same. Air pumps probably are quieter and better I would think. I do know I want an LED light for it. All tips and suggestions are welcomed.

That's my plan....Zero payment. I just wonder how long it is before Kodi gets shut down ala Napster?

I found that our wifi didn't extend to the other end of the house enough to stream so I have an extender that's coming today.

wanted to bump this for a small update. I still haven't dropped direct tv yet but I'm getting closer. After looking at everything I think I'm just going to go with a fire tv loaded with kodi and over the air for locals. I did find a pretty cool add on for kodi. May be common knowledge to everyone but if not trakt.tv is worth a look. Think of it as a super favorites folder kinda deal. You sync it with whatever you stream with and then can load sitcoms or movies into it with your pc and it'll serve as a dvr of sorts. It will also sync across devices so you have the same things on all devices. Just worth a look if you're not aware of it. I've been messing with kodi quite a bit the last few days.

yeah...large dogs tend to have their own set of issues. Our St Bernard is 6 so he's just approaching the point where he could start having issues. He's pretty healthy right now but we've been pretty good about watching his diet so he doesn't carry any extra weight. He also gets zero table scraps because at his size you can't have him begging or thinking he can just grab shit off counters, the stove, or the top of the fridge haha.
-
a bloodhound has always been on my list of "wants". Having a st bernard in the house right now though takes up any extra dog room we have. After this big bastard a tea cup poodle is now on my list of wants haha. Go the exact opposite direction next time haha. Actually though my wife wants a little tiny dog.....if I have my way my next dog will be an english bulldog if I can find one that doesn't cost as much as a used car.

Almost everyone I know just goes to their local tire shop to have tires put on. For years I've tried different things to save a few bucks but it's bit me in the ass more often than not. Discount tire out here really pisses me off, NTB is always too expensive, and wal mart is well.....wal mart so I search for money savers and it never works out. I'm done with the saving $50 thing though and am going pure convenience from here on out. We have 3 vehicles plus a camper and my duramax goes through mud tires like shit through a goose so I'm tire shopping about every other year for something. I start dreading it about a year before it happens so it seems like I'm constantly tire shopping.

good looking car Anthony. My daughter started soccer in Z-ville this weekend. We'll be going out Saturday mornings for about the next month and a half. Maybe we'll stop by and visit a few minutes one trip on our way home. I want to check out your new place out there anyhow.
-
yeah....I want that.

sounds awesome for you guys....glad it works out for you. I'm also going to adopt the "push rope" saying. Been using pound sand for decades....be a nice little change for me.
