  1. We'll be back this year but the NFC is going to be a tough division to win
  2. Finished them up tonight. There's a few spots that could've been better but overall I'm pretty happy with them. My wood working and art skills really suck so the fact these things even came together at all is amazing. They're the right size and right height so not a lot else I could ask for. I wanted to keep them fairly simple paint wise and I wanted a lighter color because we play right up until dark and dark boards suck in low light. I'm thinking about adding some LED's under the board to light the hole up for night play and I want to mount some removable beer holders on the sides. Yes....I'm a Saints fan. Been one since the early 80's and it's been a lot of bad years with 1 good one. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/cornholeboards_zps1c3466ff.jpg
  3. just going by how the car acted towards the end of the run I'm guessing that was a GT500
  4. I don't know about that...... http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/2562_zps3cbfb826.jpg
  5. what about that place on groveport rd next to pick n pull or you pull it or whatever it's called these days? It's been years since I've been down there but got a cheap rear window for the wifes blazer a bunch of years ago. edit: just looked it up....believe it's called low price auto glass
  6. Weather men are shitting in high cotton right now. Jim Gahnal got so excited earlier he choked on some neck fat. I just know a storm 2 hours north of me is ruining the hockey game.
  7. good job.....it's tough. Summer is the toughest for me. I'm at 48lb's lost since March. I don't have as big a goal as you have so I don't sweat a bad weekend here and there but the weight loss has slowed down with the warmer weather.

I can't begin to imagine what the state would charge for those.......already pay a shit ton for a little piece of metal.
  9. find out the scrap value and then it wouldn't hurt to try to sell it first and make a few extra dollars. Scrap yard will always be there. That's what I would do.
  10. right....I would love to lift my truck but the reward isn't even close to the risk. The 2500's are shitty trucks for the mud anyhow. I have to go through some rough stuff to get back to some of my tree stands and the 2500 just sinks right to the bottom. I love my truck but it's a hauler....not a mudder.
  11. nothing wrong with knowing your limitations....aways better than blowing your house up. That being said it's a pretty straight forward job and things like shark bite fittings have made life much easier when dealing with copper pipes. I did mine a couple years ago. Like you the gas line was where I wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing but it ended up being no big deal. I doped the fitting and after it had sat up I used soapy water to look for bubbles. Must've done ok because my house hasn't blown up yet and we've been getting hot water out of it.
  12. that's exactly why I don't lift mine. I have the 5th wheel and don't want to raise the 5th wheel. Between the pin box and the hitch there's some adjustment there but not a whole ton.
  13. first off there's really no reason to change out the stock keys on an 06 to fit 33's under it. I have 33's on mine with the stock bolts not even adjusted all the way and clear 33's fine with a little shaving done to the front lower bumper which it looks like he did also. my truck on 33's with the bars cranked just enough to clear 33's: http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj37/0rion_album/009resized.jpg Secondly.....that cognito lift is expensive as hell. It's a nice lift.....he should've maybe went with a 37" tire minimum. Still a nice looking lift and truck. As long as he's happy with it that's all that really matters. I agree with others that those rims are played out but like I say.....as long as he's happy. How many hours did you have in the install? I'm guessing that was quite a bit of work that went into that.
  14. yeah....don't paint Crenshaw to be an upscale neighborhood. Travel that 7 miles and the average house price is $2,025,000 and not filled with ghetto people doing ghetto shit.
  15. just out of curiosity.....what's the typical speed of a bullet? Let's say someone is running 5-10mph and then fires a bullet into your car that you're speeding away in at 35mph what is the difference in speed?
  16. Hmmmmm...... I would think most in Crenshaw would be upstanding fine citizens. Matter of fact I'm surprised anyone was out at that time of night.
  17. yep.....start at the pedal and work your way back. They're pretty simple really.
  18. just another reason to hate wasps.
  19. could've been worse....his name could've been "fuck you". Even I know the sign for that name.
  20. turned his ass off like a light switch though didn't they?
  21. funny stuff. When I was a kid my grandpa used to always go to this junkyard for parts. The guy that owned the junkyard had a "guard goat". Meanest damn animal I ever saw and when you're 9-10 years old it doesn't take much. That bastard would chase you all over the place and no matter how hard you hit him ( saw grandpa whack him in the head with a west virginia socket set) he always came back for more. He chased me back to the car once and I made it in the car and this bastard jumps up on the hood and just stood there staring at me through the windshield. Not sure why grandpa went to that junkyard.....I would imagine because he got some kind of enjoyment out of watching that goat chase my ass around all afternoon.
  22. we're hauling the camper to va beach in a couple weeks. We have a few places there we're going to eat out at but I want to take some steaks down to cook on the grill one night. I'll have my brother hook me up with some nice steaks. He owns Columbus Brewing and Milestone 229.
  23. those are some good life lessons.......I can add a few to that list. 16. Never let a bald man borrow your comb. 17. Always say you love her until she lays down the butcher knife. 18. Never fry bacon without a shirt on.
  24. sorry to hear that.....we have a 7 month old right now so we're using most of that stuff but there's a church in Lancaster that has a free store she might check with. We donated a ton of stuff to them last year. I'm sure there are also similar church's in columbus she could check with also that will help her out.
  25. a surprisingly long time if you do your job correctly. You can't control everything and kids are going to make mistakes but I can honestly tell you that this situation will never be a problem in our household. Our kids know right from wrong and we know what's in their book bag every day before they get on the bus. We take the time to look through everything and make sure they're prepared for the day.
