  1. Dude...that sounds AWESOME! Chevy SB2 with a Ford 4-speed?
  2. For sure. I saw Demeter in my neighborhood back in the fall. Props to Sam. Was thinking about trying for it myself.
  3. Update: I've been talking with City of UA's Chief Building Officer, who has looked at my property and indicated there would be a good fit. Architect is going to be designing some mid-century carport designs, possibly 20x40 feet to accomodate 3 cars. Has anyone poured a concrete pad appx 800-960sq ft for this sort of project, or something similar like a pole barn? I did a concrete driveway myself at our last house and it was a huge bish. Looking at foundation/driveway options.
  4. People think bankers have dry personalities because of the maths. I can tell you from 15+ years' experience it's learning more and more about the world around us from working with companies representing EVERY industry. It's humbling to understand how/why things are made, distributed, sold. Makes you think twice before carrying a social-justice flag. I'll give you another insight from visiting a processing facility on the West Side: DON'T EAT MEAT FROM TACO BELL.
  5. YAAAAASSS!!! Who is "Sschwing" I wonder? I spend too much time on Jalopnik anyway.
  6. I'm liking the bulging fenders. And props to FCA for breathing continued life into the Challenger/Charger platform with these special packages that keep the existing bodystyle alive. Very good way of using marketing to save/delay R&D costs. Reminded by Jalopnik that a Challenger Hellcat is 4,500lbs. Whoof. A 200lb diet is definitely in order.
  7. It's worse for cheap products manufactured in China and third-world factories. Was talking to a client that sources product from APAC, and he said every parka that someone buys for less than $50 at Costco or Walmart that has a fur collar or hood is made from dog. There are massive cagefarms where dogs are bred and slaughtered for meat, by-products for agricultural/industrial/cosmetic purposes, and their fur is dyed/painted and used as a fox/coyote substitute for garments. I DO FEEL FOR THIS DOG, but to Scott's point...my God, people would lose their minds if they really understood what their dollar contributes to as a consumer in this world.
  8. Was driving in Canton today and saw a billboard about this movie...didn't ever hear about it before. NOW I read this thread... Sorry to hear! Wasn't going to watch that movie, anyway.
  9. Dangit. I tried to convince my wife that we can downsize from our Odyssey to this thing. It's a great deal.
  10. Cool. Last week was my first time there. I was a fan!
  11. Can we cut some plywood and 2x6's to make eyeballs, teeth, and eyebrows? I stand corrected. Angry House is the way to go.
  12. What do you guys use for an electric pressure washer?
  13. I was going to mention for beer: The Beer Zone is on Kenny between Henderson and Bethel....GREAT beer selection. I just want some Carhartts.
  14. +1 Window boxes and some higher shrubs will help a ton.
  15. Thank you for that. My son is 5 and I'm letting him hammer the shit out of the drums, play along with YouTube vids, etc... gonna let him use his creativity for awhile.
  16. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/business/2017/01/15/0115-andersons-closing.html Time to get some Carhartt shit for cheap.
  17. I am NOT a fan of the bowtie. Your Camaro is a well-sorted globally-competitive chassis...not a 1985 Caprice Classic. Why introduce whatever fake-ass gold inlay is in that bowtie emblem? Of course, I drive a Cadillac...nothing more than a gussied up Opel.
  18. Posting white stripes on a hardtop is not a good comparison. 50% of your Camaro's look is defined by a black, fabric roof and unique quarter windows - when the top is down it's a pool of black. If you're getting the heritage grille, I suggest you paint the "SS" emblem a matching red to go with your paint, or have it chromed to go along with the wheels.
  19. I would say no stripes, but if you HAVE TO DO IT, definitely go black to match the exterior accents and interior. It's a convertible; your interior color has to compliment the exterior as well and vice versa.
  20. 1) Nice front porch light. 2) Landscaping. Some shrubs will fill in the visual bulk below the windows. I love hostas for that slope because they grow nearly everywhere, require zero maintenance, don't get eaten by deer or bunnies (too much) and look very nice and full in a couple of years. Heck, I have a bunch I'm looking to split and replant. You can have some of mine. 3) LED landscaping lights 4) Paint.
  21. Love how the detail really pops in that color. Awesome!
  22. Thanks, guys. We went to Music-Go-Round...close to home and the guy was indeed very helpful. Got some freebies (drumsticks and guitar picks!) for a $13 purchase!
  23. My son is getting into drums, and the only place that resells musical equipment is Music-Go-Round on Bethel Rd. Anyone out there has a recommendation for music/instrument shops? Thank you!
