  1. My thoughts as I've been following this thread: - I wish Josh all the best in figuring this all out. - Members like SloSVTruck are what makes CR such a great community. Thanks, Jon! - As a homeowner, this sounds F**KING TERRIFYING. I'd be sooo nervous of everything exploding that's plugged into a wall... Here's a pic of me at Josh's house: http://static3.businessinsider.com/image/54c87a1f69bedd244987fe20-1200-600/better-call-saul-chuck-1.jpg
  2. Good call, Jordan...I was wondering that too. Made me second-guess whether the video was faked/doctored.
  3. I'm not an MMA guy but I knew who Kimbo Slice was. RIP, dude.
  4. Was it smoked in? Any shots of the interior? A/C, Cruise work?
  5. I know where that was...you naughty, naughty basterd. (I-71 north, from Bagley Road on the way to the airport?) Knowing that you survived, that was a cool video to watch...crazy stuff. Made me also realize the even crazier things people do online a scant 10 years later.
  6. I don't know where Aaron gets off talking about being a casual fan and then hating so much on Cavs/LeBron , but I will agree as a Cleveland fan - GSW is very enjoyable to watch. OKC really put on a display of skill and it was amazing to see the downpour of 3-point shots on both sides. I've also just been interested in NBA during the playoffs - and while I want to believe, it's going to take a miracle (or a GSW catastrophe) to help the Cavs....
  7. LOL. I liked Irving's layup getting stuck in the rim. Too bad they don't get points for that.
  8. Tim, I'm with you. I drove the BMW to Cleveland/Akron/Zanesville/Youngstown/Mansfield over the 2 months my V was in the shop, and I ended up getting earplugs The V has a cat-back Magnaflow and that's about as loud as I'll get on a performance DD. I still love a loud ride, but finding myself appreciating a quieter ride when I'm 3+ hrs on the road in a day!
  9. Very cool, Kale! Best of luck this year. FYI: a UA-dad friend of mine raised almost $1,800 (!!!) towards his goal this year by renting a lawn aerator or lawn overseeder for the week. After doing his own lawn, he hit up his facebook page, offering to do peoples' lawns for $50 with 100% of the proceeds going towards his Pelotonia campaign. Needless to say he raised more than enough dough in one week. I think he said his cost was $225 for the machine for the week, but he would've paid that anyway for his own use. Thought that was a clever way of doing it.
  10. That setup is beautiful. Gotta love ceramic coating in turbo applications: it keeps the hot hot, and the cold cold.

Sorry I missed you guys! Verse, I do love that wagon. Cool seeing your kid in the back.
  12. Can't be said enough - CONGRATS and keep up the good work!
  13. I do feel bad for the kid...this event is going to follow him around at least through his teenage years. Dude's going to be psychologically scarred.
  14. I haven't been able to catch the episode...any place I can watch both Top and Extra Gear?
  15. OK, thanks guys. Will start with brake cleaner.
  16. ^^^I'm backing Brandon on this one: every race has it's issues because PEOPLE have issues. I'm also backing Tim/Scott: Ultimately, itt's the responsibility of the parent to keep their children safe, and warnings are visibly posted, as well as an assumption of reasonable caution when anyone pays for a ticket to get into the Zoo. I expect to see kids running around, having fun and interacting with the world around them - I'm not expecting snipers stationed at every pen taking out endangered animals every time a kid falls into a 10ft deep enclosure. Accidents will happen, and they are unfortunate: it's the parent that protects their children and adults acting for their own protection that keeps the world a little safer. Kerry's comments go from legal-basis explanation to bloviation, since he views CR as trolls poking other trolls. From what I've read, he also uses personal ideology as a tool to justify softening the world around us through litigation: If a fence isn't high enough to keep zombies out, sue the landowner and wall-builders, and the courts force a higher wall be built. "Reasonable standard" isn't so reasonable anymore. I've never seen someone type so much on an internet forum, and achieve so little in communication. Of course, Kerry would blame everyone ELSE on CR for our lack of understanding. :eyes:
  17. I've been really busy the last couple of weeks, but I will have time through the weekend to wrench. Great tips so far. I'll try the carb-cleaner idea Does anyone happen to have a smoke machine as the PM link mentioned?
  18. My 1978 Lincoln has had a vacuum leak since I bought it that's gotten progressively worse: I know because the headlight doors used to open after a couple of days...now they will shut with engine vacuum as the engine runs but both slowly open after only an hour or so. Plus, I had my head around the firewall and could hear a whistling. I know there's some "101-level" tips for finding a vacuum leak...any tips or tools to locate the whistling would be greatly appreciated. It's starting to affect engine idle as well. Thanks!
  19. If it's anything like the Apexcone SS exhaust I put on my widdle 1.8L BMW, there could be an exhaust leak...split at a factory weld/flexpipe, or a gasket hasn't sealed properly. Same exact symptoms: I had a weld on the 4-2-1 header collector crack. Re-tacked the weld, resonance went away.
  20. +1. Can be added relatively easily to an existing system. Possibly something wrong with the S4 exhaust? Hack previous owner gutted muffler or some of the baffles broke off? Might not be enough of a "rattle" but could provide vibration at certain resonances to create a massive drone.
  21. That fucknut wouldn't DARE buy a Fox-body without a stick shift. I'll drive to Pittsburgh, shit in the car, and punch him in the nuts if it's an automatic...
  22. Thanks, guys. I ended up dropping it off at SWACO. Took just under an hour round-trip and cost me gas+$11.12 Eli, FWIW...we put it up on Buy/Sell/Trade and had 3 tire-kickers that thought it was beyond repair from carpenter bee/ant damage. Glad to have it gone.
  23. That looks badass. Congrats, Chris!
