  1. Chris did some work on one of my 1950's rental houses where they replaced the cracked-and-leaking cast-iron main sewage stack with PVC for a great price. I highly recommend Foust. As an alternative, Ray Hughes 614-390-8585 has helped me over the phone with DIY plumbing stuff for free, but I want to say he's way north (Marengo?) if you need work done. However, another solid plumber as a resource.
  2. A bunch of us rolled out from Lennox to Byers as well around 11am...definitely had some nice rides. I kept running into other "Lennox Traitors" Me: "Hey! What are you doing here?" Them: "Wait a second, Clay...what are YOU doing here?" Pictures don't do the color of that 918 justice...that thing is an alien, radioactive green/yellow combo.
  3. If the forecast stays Sunny and 65*....we may have to do our first cruise of the year!
  4. You can't be TOO sad... this weekend was f**king GORGEOUS to be doing work outside.
  5. I did the Richard Petty Driving Experience (NASCAR) at Didney back in 2007. Small track, we obviously went counter-clockwise making a bunch of left turns which the track is designed for. Jalopnik's got an aerial view of the Lambo, and it looked like it slid the passenger's door into the edge of the guardrail at a 45* angle. Very sad indeed. http://jalopnik.com/lambo-crash-at-disney-world-track-kills-passenger-1697421901
  6. DOOD!!! Love this ragtop 1st-gen Ranger. I'm sorry...I do. http://waggz.smugmug.com/Cars/Cars-and-Coffee-2015/i-p9bh46C/0/M/_MG_1851-M.jpg
  7. I like how that Datsun pic captures the older guy with his hand on the fender. I hope that's the owner. :gabe: Otherwise, it looks like he really likes the car. Great angles too...love the ground up shot of the Jetta and the "aerial" of the Z.:thumbup:
  8. Same here. Sometimes shitty service BUT we have an old program with 4 lines and unlimited everything for $150/mo so we live with it.
  9. In the past, I use my truck to pick up bulk mulch at Ohio Mulch, but usually just got whatever is on sale. The extent of my mulch knowledge is that Absolute Black is a mix of whatever is ground up and dyed...and that it's not too nice for plants. It's all up from here. As with most homeowners, I'd certainly like whatever is the best blend of cost and benefit: beneficial to hostas, shrubs, some other plants...but as rough on weeds as possible. At one time the previous homeowner had rough pine bark which I'd use if that meant I wouldn't have to mulch again for a couple of years. That stuff is expensive but I'm still picking up pieces years after we bought the house. Any recommendations?
  10. That's a nice boat. Trade you for a Hurricane 232?
  11. I've got a dinner tonight, but sounds like there is going to be a solid crowd up there tonight. Will try to make it out.
  12. http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/news/a25497/this-is-what-a-550-hp-taurus-looks-like/ Stop after you read that article and think for a second: we live in a world and time when a Taurus makes 550hp and has AWD....and is still basically stock components bumper to bumper. I'm assuming the same could be done to a Flex or Lincoln MKT...
  13. If you sold the V and talk about rear legroom, I'd stay away from an S4. Plus, the B7 S4 isn't the 4.4L V8. I like the E6x 7-series...but would probably stick with Audi or a VW Phaeton if it were up to me.
  14. This topic is an eye-opener for me. I see a LOT of these A8's around UA and still think (even in my car mind) that this is an expensive car. To think that these are cheaper than what I paid for my '07 V is a little sickening. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Audi-A8-A8L-/181701346302?forcerrptr=true&hash=item2a4e3e83fe&item=181701346302 I'm also a bit of an AWD LOL guy, but at this price range, you are getting a HELL of a lot of car for the money. If you're shuttling around clients, the A8L's rear legroom will definitely impress. With my Passat experience, I wouldn't hesitate to get an automatic VAG big-body sedan as I get older. Plus, with some upgraded rolling stock they look the absolute business. Good thing I'll be in the market for something like that in the next 15 years, when the 2015 S7's are hopefully dirty cheap!
  15. If you type out a long wall of text, I will honestly read it and determine it's merit to the topic. Then, will likely reply "tl;dr". Now you see it coming. The ex-CEO of Pelotonia (a non-profit organization here in town) made over $600k a year. Yes...I am in the middle class.
  16. I'll ask, since OP's original question was answered... Are there benefits to ducks on your property w/pond? Like, do they control algae, or mow down vegetation? I just envision them quacking a lot and pooping almost as bad as Canada geese...
  17. Last year I was at the NYIAS, and there was a car on display that was a coach-built sports car on a C6 Corvette chassis. But...the bodywork was laughable and the styling was ridic. I don't know who had the combo of lotsa money/lack of brains, but some people really go nuts trying to make the world think they have the next best thing. For all the crap that Elio gets, at least it's not as ambitious trying to get a re-engineered Geo Metro 3-cylinder in a trike chassis on the road. If you're going to support an airball, might as well be it!
  18. Guys, I just spoke to Trey...Kirk's getting an automatic Beetle Convertible. http://www.magcars.com/new/Volkswagen/2015-Volkswagen-Beetle-97b44a770a0a006528cbdfee534fa8d0.htm http://pictures.dealer.com/m/magvw/1900/f7db6d3c6fc5012b018c2f0313ef660fx.jpg CONGRATS I'm just speculating here...
  19. That's waaaaay too long. I got the gist of SAWSAGE after 1:30.
  20. TIL: Doug Riddell for speeding tickets in the future.:thumbup:
  21. His interviews and commentary are hilarious. Watch his interviews with Stephen Hawking, and some of his other topics (Red-Tailed Hawks, Fanta's ties to Nazi Germany) are worth the watch.
  22. http://img.itch.io/aW1hZ2UvMjAyMjcvODU2NDAuZ2lm/original/Z0xyFi.gif
  23. That is a very, very, very... very VERY VERY VERY VERY ...specific vehicle/tool.
  24. Old article, which is funny because that older "columbuscarclub" site for them is dead, and they reference Lennox meets as the group Wiggs associates with. Gotta love that erroneous but beneficial free marketing! :megusta:
