  1. If that's your idea of "smaller / lighter"... I rented one of these a few years ago while visiting family in Long Island, and I kept commenting to my wife how big it feels and what little trunk space it had. The wide haunches and bulbous butt just felt unnecessary. That being said, Mitsubishi makes a quality product and the styling is still unique. Many happy miles to your family in that car, Casey!
  2. Any idea how cheap he'd go on some of those older Harley's?
  3. Needs three things: 1) Cold air intake 2) white lettering on the tires. 3) Is there a catalytic converter? Def cat-delete and an exhaust. LS-swap down the road...Mallett did that with the Solstice when it was around, rocking the 2.4L I see someone is trying to sell a 4.8L
  4. Been meaning to do this for awhile, but I had to mail the title back to the P.O. a couple of weeks ago to get his signature. I'm thankful he's been so great to deal with. Plus, I tried to get to the Clerk of Courts title office on Saturday morning after CC&C and the office was closed because of Level 1 snow emergency??? His initial impressions are spot-on.
  5. That's ridic to consider airfare is included at that price. Looking forward to hearing how it goes in the fall!
  6. This morning, I titled (finally!) my CTS-V and I had this thread in mind. It was almost 6 months since I bought it from P.O. in California. I asked the clerk what repurcussions Franklin County or the State could take for me running this long without it titled to my name, and his comment was aside from traffic laws, there isn't a time limit or tracking method for the title process. Glad I didn't get pulled over in that timeframe. I do find it odd that I could buy a car and take possession of a floating title (as I admittedly did after the P.O's credit union sent it over to me unendorsed) for an indeterminate amount of time...
  7. I hear ya...looking forward to putting my BMW up in the spring for $7k. If it sells for that much, great. If not, I'm happy to keep it. CR can search to see how much I paid for it.
  8. For perspective, when we were remodeling our house after it was gutted from smoke damage, we looked at adding utilities to an upstairs linen closet to turn it into a laundry room. Small '60s closet...$5500 to add power, water, drain. I think you're good with the extra bathroom, considering water's already flowing in and out. Can always convert another room to a BR; closets are a lot cheaper to add.
  9. Hey Andy....was the guy as big of a dick when you sold it to him as he makes himself out to be on CL? TEXT ONLY SRS OFFERS PARTIAL TRADE FOR C5 VETTE + CASH
  10. Congratulations, Doc! Looking forward to seeing that out this year. ...and props to Polaris for making something like this. I hope it sells well and builds a new market for fun trikes. After all, we know the Elio is DOA.
  11. LOL. I don't know what Andy sold it for, but multi-million dollar dealerships are happy to make $2k off of a car. Well played to this guy.
  12. That was Andy Farkas' old wagon? That thing is sweet. Enjoy it and looking forward to upgrades!!!
  13. Intadesting. Cleetus likes this...
  14. At least he doesn't scratch the paint removing snow from the surface...
  15. http://www.autoblog.com/2015/02/20/saab-tries-again-emerge-bankruptcy/ Sorry, mang...I was looking for the Kickstarter campaign they're using and I couldn't find it.
  16. http://carbuying.jalopnik.com/you-can-get-an-insane-deal-on-a-diesel-car-right-now-th-1686954874/+pgeorge That's a hell of a deal...too bad it's automatic only. :dumb:
  17. Definitely keep the factory grille...the lines flow well with the bumper.
  18. I liked R8 V10s... BEFORE DEY WER COOL I do have a problem with any car that needs a $$$multi-thousand clutch jerb around 20k....is the R8 (chassismate) the same?

    Hello :D

Springs and wheels/tires are all that bad boy needs... Maybe bolt-on exhaust/intake and a tune. Call it a day. Welcome (back) to the site! What was your old username?
  20. Last night got down to -5 degrees. I can't drop garbage in the can outside without bundling in a parka. Props to you and your garage setup. :masturboy:
  21. Modern lights do look good with the original bumper and "wide" foglights. I still prefer the original headlights, but if you got'em already.....

  23. Respekt to the P1 fo sho'...but there is a $900k price gap in the two cars. Considering that, I'd say the Corvette did quite well against the impressive P1.
