I'm a big fan of that 993...ONLY complaint is the front bumper reliefs; even if they were functional (oil/trans/intercooler/radiator) the size and shape are jarring to the rest of the beautiful lines of that car. I really liked the simplicity of the seal he used for the fender flares: what was that, seam sealer or black silicone caulk? He looked like me redoing the groutlines in my bathroom. Also, I totally want to make some lettering stencils and white-letter the tires on Cleetus. Even though they clearly wear out, I like that effect more than perfectly bleach-white OWL/RWL sidewalls.

Patina dip...now I've seen everything. Actually looks decent but that rear camber is disgusting. Srsly about Beetles...have you looked into a TDI? If you're going to commit to a year, at least have good mileage, good resale value, and a good excuse why you're driving a Beetle ("Because it's a TDI!")

You're a funny guy, Dennis. Actually, I have been using Sporty's, though I didn't do much flying last year so I wouldn't be surprised if I had to pony up another $300 to renew my iPad materials. I'm part of Columbus Northwest Flyers (http://www.columbusnorthwestflyers.com) and my CFI is a member there too. No Mooney's until the kids are out of college. After having V8 Chevy teeruks from the '80s, I now thoroughly enjoy my 1982 Ford F100 with a bored-.030 Ford inline-6 with a milled head and a Comp Cams 252H cam (RV grind). There is something great about the simple design of an older inline-6, and the torque/fuel economy can't be beat for the money (when talking about old mills). Do you have a pick-up truck? That would be my vote: get an older truck for that inline-6...
