Well said, Wags. As I get older I choose not to associate with people like that not because of their beliefs, but because they are so cavalier in sharing them with the world. Respect and love to those who lost loved ones on this day...or had a family member die from medical conditions clearly attributed to walking those ashen streets of lower Manhattan after the towers fell. RIP. I'll never forget...
  3. Just got an update from dispatcher: TOM-MORROW See what I did thurr? :masturboy: http://i.imgur.com/3X537Gk.gif
  4. Hey!!! I still have the Passat! Though...it's parked in FL being driven about 10 miles a month on average. :gabe: For the record, I think the tires are perfect. I'll be DDing this thing, not hoping for 200-wear trackdaybro specials... I'm your huckleberry. It already has a shifter (forgot what it was...will see once it gets here) but bushings/inserts sound great to me!

  6. I'm liking this car more and more :thumbup:
  7. There's a guy named Mike that had one last week. It was amazing in the sunlight. The flake and color-effect is ridic.

  9. - Love the E46 M3, do not want the maintenance cost or pay the ridic market value to buy one today. I would highly recommend a 335 'vert stick and tune it for 400hp. - Love the CTS-V as you well know. I was going to wait for v2's to come down in price also but I grew impatient. Will look at that down the road. Everything you loved about the v1 CTS-V but better? How can you go wrong? - How much do you need the rear seat? Any consideration for a Porsche 911? Not even a Turbo...just a well-spec'd Carrera S or 4S? - What about an M5?
  10. I have a 138hp BMW. Factory LSD because that's how they did traction control on the bottom end of German cars in the early-mid Nineties. "It's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slowly."
  11. http://i.imgur.com/g6XdZGA.jpg V is a 2007, Thunder Gray ($995 paint option, metallic in the sun), tint, Magnaflow, K&N, up-to-date maintenance (yes, they are doody all-season Cooper RSA tires, but they're brand new), and I got it for a pretty damn good price...plus financing was excellent through BofA (my employer ) More to come!
  12. Sounds like engineering glitches may prevent the watch from being sold in time for holiday shopping this year...
  13. Telleth Mitcheth that the press shall be returneth in a fortnight.
  14. Thunder Gray up dat bunghole... Coming soon to a CC&C near you, bauce...:fuckyeah:
  15. DID SOMEONE SAY "NEW V"?!?1? :gabe: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1793229#post1793229

  17. Sucks to hear. If you got rid of the car, would you likely be buying another Mustang or similar car? I.E...you wouldn't get rid of the Mustang to get a Corolla... If you really like the car and want to continue rocking it for awhile, I'd swap the engine for another shortblock. It's a 2V Mustang, not a 4.2L V8 Audi or 5.2L V10 Lambo; engines should be plentiful and cheap, and easy to remove/install. Once you've repowered your Mustang, and you have the room, maybe look at rebuilding the 4.6L 2V that just blew the head. Now you have time on your hands to work/learn out the process. I woudn't bother, though: you're better off doing a better engine. AAAAAAAAAND......if the swapped block blows, you've got the original (rebuilt by you!) 2V 4.6L to swap back in. OR...you can spend time doing up a nicely built engine you can swap back into the Mustang in a couple of years.
  18. I appreciate the measure to bolster sales, but this never looks good in the market. I can't imagine any well-heeled Viper prospect would buy one now, unless they were doing some sort of lease for the next couple of years before the new one comes out with a bajillion HP...
  19. Manual transmission, 9-&-3-o'clock hands FOR LYFE. :fuckyeah: That said, having spent a large part of my life driving in NYC/5 boroughs, VA/DC/MD, and areas around us... I will appreciate all the automatons that choose a 2023 Hyundai that sets them in the right lane of traffic and cruises to work at 62mph.
  20. +1 on "bunny ears"...I thought it was ridic that I was adjusting an antenna in 2014 for my flatscreen but dammit if it isn't a phenominal picture. We have the "main" screen in our living room set up for local broadcasts thru antenna, but we don't have it hooked up to DVR. Wifey's problem...not mine. Everything else in the house is internet-based as mentioned before (Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, Plex...) I will say that if you have kids under the age of 8 years old, just get iPads with a good wifi connection and go get Videomonster, Plex, etc...my kids watch whatever programming they want (and I regulate) and hardly any commercials. We were at my in-laws and I thought my 6yo daughters' head was going to explode from the high-energy Nickelodeon adverts. Glad they aren't bombarded with all of that!
  21. Congrats on the grab! My uncle had a blue Z31 when I was in high school...fell in love with that bodystyle. I love how clean yours thing is. Historical tags FTW. Alex, been a long time...would you bring that thing out to Cars and Coffee sometime?
  22. OMG, I'm in tears right now. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11463695
