  1. I thought it was 10pm-5am weeknights??? Regardless, if it is closed you should be able to reroute easily on surface streets near downtown, W. Broad Street area...
  2. Awesome link...I'll take your shift lever. http://sd.keepcalm-o-matic.co.uk/i/shut-up-and-take-my-money-25.png

  4. Hey Ben...can I swap your shifter into my coming 318i?
  5. Anyone have these installed at their home, or know someone that has them? http://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-SPA392M-Rainfall-Multi-functional-Nozzles/dp/B005Q4WAXA/ref=zg_bs_6810472011_1 Seems awesome...looking for opinions!
  6. I'm hoping they will go on sale in the off-season or holidays. Definitely a cool toy (wifey agrees). Didn't know Razor made so many different electric-cart-type vehicles.
  7. It's basically a miniaturized bumper car with an e-brake...AND NO BUMPER!
  8. As a non-gamer, this story has opened up my eyes... I shouldn't be surprised that real money is being "invested, won, or lost" in online gaming. Short of cheat-codes or God-codes, if the physics in a game are definable and unalterable, I see a lot more games using bit-coin or whatever currency to make the play seem more real to the players. Intadesting article. Thanks for posting it!
  9. Quick glance at the comments makes me realize I'm not the only one who thinks that looked like a... HUGE TURD
  10. $400??? Razor Dune Buggy is less than that. That thing is KOOL AS FOOK tho...
  11. 66% of marriages fail, but I have a feeling these two are going to be happy for a long time to come.
  12. QFT. My bro-in-law just commented this weekend on how nice the Passat still looked (Sean "Crossle" gave it a wash after doing a bunch of work on the engine). This is a guy that leases 2-3 year old BMW's/Mercs. My Passat has been in 3 accidents and has over 167k one-owner miles on it. I do want nicer cars in life, but I'm proud to say that I'm having a blast with the vehicles I've owned, and I try to take pride in my ride no matter what life is throwing at me. Clearly, there is an episodic function to the cars we miss: most are not necessarily the nicest/fastest cars we've ever driven, but we filled them with a lot of memories. I'm going to guess in the span of my lifetime that the favorite cars I've owned WEREN'T while I was simultaneously burdened with the responsibilities of having a young family!
  13. Go to the Allen Edmonds outlet store in Jeffersonville. They'll size your wierd feet and you'll get first-run great dress shoes at clearance prices. Never spent more than $160 on a pair; mostly $110-$150. Shoes still made in the USA. I have 6 purr of AE because you can refurb them for ~$90 every couple of years and have new shoes that are as comfortable as slippers. I have 10+ years on my first pair of black AE's. Starting in my career I did the $50 DSW specials, and they look good but just don't last. I had a GF in college that was a podiatrist...EVERYONE in her office wore Cole Haan's, if that tells you something about what foot doctors know about shoes....
  14. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=299&pictureid=2054 High-school/college car. Miss you, 1988.5 Suzuki Samurai JX

  16. Will any able-bodied assistance be provided on site moving it to the back of a pickup truck?
  17. Very efficient engine, drivetrain, and lightweight+aerodynamic car = MAKES SCENTS. Add some low-rolling-resistance 205-series tires and I'll bet you could get a Corvette to do 36mpg.
  18. John Huston has operated an angel fund for years now...used to be an old banker. Google the name. Also, have you looked into TechColumbus? Good folks there who are all about funding ideas that turn into scalable businesses with decent returns...
  19. Wow. 11 days off = .gov making "money-saving moves" that look good on a spreadsheet or a by-line about getting rid of .gov waste. Mgmt sand-bagging production = systemic failure in the system.
  20. Normally, I go to ApplianceSmart. However, I think I'll be ordering a stackable w/d combo from LG through this website: the tax/delivery savings alone will be a couple hundred bucks. I still like ApplianceSmart with their great scratch-n-dent deals, as well as cheap deals on no-frills appliances...if you're trying to save a buck or have some rental properties!
  21. I'll be judging, along with some CR breaux!
  22. Anyone use this site? It seems pretty good from a search standpoint, and right now the prices are cut, along with no sales tax and free shipping. Gotta buy a buncha appliances for the hacienda. If you recommend any other sites for appliance reviews (aside from Consumer Reports) please let me know!
  23. Next week is GoodGuys. At least the crowd will be elsewhere in Columbus that night...
