There's only two ways to look at this: - Trump is inept at getting his administration to work with corporates volunteering to help. - Trump truly doesn't care, telling all of us everything is going well and passing the buck to companies as their failure to deliver. Either way, shocking lack of leadership. Not surprising...just another example, unfortunately.

I didn’t latch down the hood properly and it flew off one night while I was doing engine work. Dented it all to shit. This was pre-CL and FBM, so I went on forums thinking “where the hell am I going to find a hood for this thing?” Turns out a guy not half-an-hour from me had one that fit perfectly. Love FL car guys...there’s a parts car somewhere nearby!

Nice commentary indeed. And RARE, given how quiet many current and former cabinet members are of Trump. All great points above why people shouldn't be defending Trump's behavior. He has done a number of very good things over the last 3 years, but his presidency will be defined by how he took 2 steps forward and tripped himself 6 steps backward at every turn. No doubt we will all get through this, Chris. I truly do believe this. We're all doing what we can, and we should feel proud for it: We've donated to charities, done Lifecare Alliance "meals-on-wheels" deliveries 2x a day, provided supplies and assistance to neighbors in need. I haven't donated blood in years but I answered the call. This feels like the weeks/months after 9/11 all over again...in a good way, with how we're banding together and truly helping each other locally. I'm not talking about politicizing a catastrophe. Coming from GM squarebodies and an F100, I can tell you it is way easier to wrench on GMT400/GMT800 chassis trucks. Parts are cheap and plentiful and they ride/drive/stop way better than the older stuff. Sure, it doesn't look as cool as the old metal but stuff like OBDII, airbags, EFI, maybe even working A/C at your price point is well worth it. Throw a $300 lowering kit and some FB Marketplace wheels/tires and it's ready to go. It won't be as fun to drive as something sportier with a stick, doe...

Congratulations on those who took advantage of the low rates before the market bottomed out to refinance their mortgages. I checked with my bank as well as Marc and the rates on 15yr are 3.25-3.75% and 30-year are 3.75-4.50%. The banks are trying to slow down mortgage activity.
